  1. I actually think the redesign of the parts on the big airplane make it look uglier. I own the 2010 airport and IMO its the best looking airport they have done in the City line.
  2. Whether we see any more Stranger Things sets is going to depend on how well the house has sold...
  3. Given that some of the previous less-famous buildings didn't sell so well, its not surprising LEGO want buildings that are instantly recognizable and not just to fans of buildings or architecture. That said, there are definitely famous buildings and landmarks they haven't done and that are famous enough to make for a popular set.
  4. A TV studio theme would be awesome, you could have (optional) phone integration similar to what was done with last year's rocket launch centre set.
  5. Its entirely possible they might choose to release the Futurama ship without including any figures at all.
  6. I was able to pick up some Series 20 today from the Dreamworld LEGO Store (its a certified store so its not covered by the LEGO decision to shut down company owned stores, its not forced to close by any government order and the owners have decided to remain open with social distancing and other measures in place including sanitizer for anyone feeling the minifig bags). The only one I wanted but couldn't find was the athletics girl (and yes I did make sure I didn't miss-identify the athletics girl as the viking)
  7. I have a report that these are now available at the Dreamworld LEGO store here in Australia (being a LEGO Certified Store its not covered by the LEGO corporate decision to close all official company the stores, its not covered by any government shutdown orders and the owners of the store have decided to remain open at this time).
  8. I also very much prefer the flip-up helmet (as seen on my copy of the Mark 45 from that set with the 3 Ultron figures in it) to the single-piece helmet.
  9. Doesn't Mega Bloks still have the rights to Spongebob?
  10. Do we have any rumors or other information on what size or price the Lamborghini is going to be? Will it be Bugatti/Porsche sized?
  11. Anyone know the release date for Series 20 in Australia? I am finding conflicting information about release dates and its hard to know what's accurate...
  12. I am a huge fan of the costumed figs and wish I had had the foresight to pick up some of the earlier animal costumes like the Gorilla Suit Guy or the Panda Guy or the Penguin Boy. Very much looking forward to the green brick costume and the pea costume (not a Llama fan so I wont be buying that one :)
  13. That Hero Quest set will never happen. The rights are owned by Games Workshop (the same mob that make Warhammer) plus LEGO tried a Hero Quest type set a while back with the Heroica thing and it didn't sell.
  14. I hope they never kill the non-licensed series. We have gotten so many things in the non-licensed CMFs that we would never get in a regular set.
  15. I think part of it will depend on what Disney/Marvel wants. They may well not want to have X-Men merchandise made right now (even though they got the rights back) because they want merchandise makers to instead focus on the big-ticket current media like the MCU or that new video game.
  16. They put characters in the DC CMF that aren't as well known or popular and that haven't been seen in any of the current media (Mister Miracle for example) so I see no reason why they couldn't do the same for X-Men or Fantastic Four or other less popular/less exposed Marvel characters in any Marvel CMF.
  17. The other thing to remember is that at the time Marvel didn't really want X-Men toys out there because they didn't want to give Fox the free marketing. Now that they own it all, that no longer applies The X-Men sets I saw were very limited in terms of their release as compared to all the other Marvel sets of the time.
  18. Picked up the new ice-cream truck today, its a great little set. And its got some nice Dark Azure (a color I can always use more of :)
  19. We did get something that definitely counts as sci-fi (and maybe even as "castle" in the eyes of TLG) in the form of Nexo Knights and it didn't do so well.
  20. I actually intend to purchase no less than 10 of the S20 figs (pajama girl, pinata guy, pea costume, scuba diver, nunchucks guy, breakdancer, space fan, green brick guy, rocker, drone guy). Multiples of some of them too. For S19 I bought the pizza guy, care bear, black space guy, rugby player, fire fighter, explorer, flamingo lady, bath guy, robot programmer girl, mountain biker, dog walker and gamer (with multiples of a few of them). And I bought a lot of S18 (everything except the spider one, the unicorn, the cake, the flower and the dragon) Been collecting these since S1 and will continue to do so as long as they continue to release interesting figures with interesting parts that I can use in my creations (my favorite parts from S20 are the keytar and the turtle although the way things are going with this virus, the MOC I want to use the turtle in may never make it to a show)
  21. There are some great figures in Series 20. Pea costume. Space Fan. Musician with that awesome keytar. Drone flyer. And Series 19 was good as well with characters like the dog sitter, jungle explorer, pizza costume and rugby player.
  22. Given that they have just approved that Blacksmith Shop (which fits into the "castle" theme) I doubt they are going to approve another one so soon.
  23. I hope they do a Marvel CMF that has characters we haven't seen yet (more X-Men for one thing, Fantastic Four) rather than just MCU and Spider-Man stuff.
  24. Several of those will be entering my collection once it becomes possible to get them.
  25. If this knight is the same guy-on-flying-robo-horse you see in the Iron Man cartoon show (regardless of whether its the exact same look or not) that would be neat to have (assuming its got the horse as well that is)
