  1. Still no movement on my order (sitting at In Warehouse) although I can understand why its taking so long (they have increased demand both from people buying parts and from people who bought sets and are missing parts plus they also have reduced capacity since they are probably still running with less employees than usual to allow for social distancing and such)
  2. I wish Marvel got more d2c type sets. So far we only got the Helicarrier and the UCS Hulkbuster. DC has gotten several Batmobiles, the retro Batcave, various Arkham sets plus that Joker house from TLBM.
  3. I also think it will be using the same small train wheels as the orange tram.
  4. For those questioning whether LEGO would do Bender because he is a crook, remember that they put Snake in the Kwik-E-Mart set (without a weapon though)
  5. What's everyone's experience as to how long orders take to go from "in warehouse" to "shipped" right now?
  6. Looking at the pictures I suspect the biggest problem would be having enough 1x1 round plates in dark blue and in black (given all the empty space in the middle of the large mosaic)
  7. We got a train with a helicopter as a load back in 2015.
  8. I do think police stations are good parts packs (at least most of the ones they have done are) :) I do think there are things we haven't seen in police (or haven't seen in a long time) like how about some mounted police riding horses? Or how about water police with some police boats and maybe some police divers or something? Surely there is room for things that are different to what we got last time but still appealing to kids and adults alike...
  9. I dont see why we need to get the same thing over and over again. Come on LEGO, do something different and new for once. If LEGO makes sets with new animals such as giraffe, zebra, hippo, rhino, lion (male this time as opposed to the female from the Safari Truck) or Wildebeest I would buy them in a heartbeat. Or if they did an "Outback Explorers" with animals like Kangaroos, Emus, Koalas, Platypus and Goannas, I would buy those no question as well. I would even maybe take some more Jungle stuff if they did something like an African jungle or swamp setup with new animals we haven't seen before such as a Gorilla. Heck, some of the animals mentioned for the "Savannah" stuff could also fit African jungles/swamps as well e.g. hippos. But I already own the big Arctic mobile base with the mammoth, the snow truck with the polar bear and the small figure pack and have zero interest in more Arctic sets even if they did come with new animals like the rumored whale. As for things like Coast Guard, they could go in the same direction but different by doing something like "Mountain Rescue" (rescue helicopters, mountain rescue base, stuff like that)
  10. Cinemas here in Queensland are definitely open for business. Although there isn't much on, mostly stuff that was in cinemas when the pandemic hit (like The Current War), stuff that had recently left cinemas when the pandemic hit (like Sonic the Hedgehog) and a few older classics (one cinema is showing The Dark Knight Rises for example).
  11. FYI the dark turquoise legs are in a pair of Monkie Kid sets.
  12. I want to see the "Sketches" line (the one that has thus far given us 2xBatman and 2xStar Wars items) go for Marvel, that would be awesome. As nice as the Iron Man mosaic is, not everyone can afford that or has the room for it but smaller art pieces like the sketches would have a much broader appeal.
  13. There is nothing in the rumors/leaks I have seen to suggest its an MCU CMF, just a Marvel CMF.
  14. We did get sets previously like https://brickset.com/sets/60084-1/Racing-Bike-Transporter and https://brickset.com/sets/4433-1/Dirt-Bike-Transporter but I do agree that more racing stuff (especially actual tracks and such rather than just the vehicles) would be nice to see. Although it might be that such things would be too close to Speed Champions sets like https://brickset.com/sets/75889-1/Ferrari-Ultimate-Garage and https://brickset.com/sets/75883-1/Mercedes-AMG-Petronas-Formula-One-Team and https://brickset.com/sets/75912-1/Porsche-911-GT-Finish-Line (although to be fair those are for cars and not bikes)
  15. There are a few spider-man bad guys that appeared in the films but never in a set like the Lizard that might be neat to get. Or maybe an Odin or Hemidall figure (I dont think we have one of those either). Or some of the humans in there (Norman Osborne anyone? He is just as evil and as well known as Lex Luthor but hasn't had a figure when Lex has had multiples)
  16. I would buy a bendy bus no question if they did the bendy part right.
  17. Picked up the little divers submarine today. Not a bad set even though its a 4+ set. The only "bigger" part in there is the big yellow part for the body of the submarine and I am sure even that might be useful for something. And its not bad value either at the price I paid :) I paid $9 for it here in Australia and the hammerhead shark and figure alone would have cost nearly that much on Bricks & Pieces (both were on my B&P wish list when I made the order but the hammerhead shark body was out of stock so I decided to buy the submarine set instead and take the figure parts off the order as well and I am glad I did :)
  18. https://www.brickfanatics.com/design-flaw-did-not-influence-lego-technic-42113-bell-boeing-v-22-osprey-helicopter-decision/ That confirms that the design flaw was not the reason for cancelling the Osprey (and put to bed any suggestion that it might come back later with some fixes)
  19. https://brickset.com/sets/10184-1/Town-Plan Great set and I am glad I was able to score one when it was available :)
  20. I dont think Elder Scrolls would be appropriate for LEGO given that the last 3 games in the series (Elder Scrolls Online, Skyrim and Oblivion) all got a "Mature 17+" rating in the USA (as compared to the games LEGO has made sets of like Overwatch that have gotten a "Teen" rating at the highest).
  21. It wouldn't surprise me if the Mario parts that are currently for sale (the shells, pipe, bar-code parts etc) are in fact not meant to be for sale and will get pulled at some point.
  22. Are there any current (or recent) sets that have a Hawkeye fig?
  23. Finally got my order placed. Some of the interesting parts: "Moby Brick" book from the Bookshop (the cover and the back) Dark azure bird from the Bookshop Some of the new Opal and Glitter parts including the strange glass pieces from the Mickey & Minnie set film strips The new-for-2020 motorbike with the titanium metallic frame The stingray and glow-in-the-dark fish Some of those Creator space rover torsos (and the hidden side legs everyone seems to think go well with that torso) Assorted figure parts from the new Divers sets (including that neat diving helmet) Hidden side figure parts (including a bunch of the parts for that cool cop figure in the jail set) That cute little girl from the Fairground Accessory Pack (the one with the 4 minifigs in the packaging shaped like a minifig) along with the teddy bear from that same set Assorted hairpieces A few neat new parts like the 1 x 2 x 1 round panels and the 3x3 round corner plates with cutout 1x1 round plates in all the colors I dont own that were in stock Assorted neat prints like the arrow from the Mario sets (single arrow only, the double arrow one was not for sale), airplane ticket lci-hlc, 1x2 tile US flag, hidden side phones and the new radar screen slope from the divers sets. Black barrel (way cheaper on B&P than on Bricklink) 1x4x2 fence in titanium metallic (although given that I paid just under $20 for 20 of these, I am beginning to wish I hadn't ordered them :) Titanium Metallic cattle skull from that one Monkie Kid set Torso and hat from the Crocodile Train engineer Metallic gold bars (also way cheaper than Bricklink) Candle flame in trans-light-blue Tan boomerang Red pitchfork Red whip Silver fez Lime green scarf Was going to order some of the water slide parts but given their cost (at least for the number I would need to order to actually do anything useful with them) I decided against it since I have no MOC in mind to use them in (and they aren't likely to be discontinued anytime soon given the set they are in has only just come out) Same with Mario warp pipe, that's quite expensive (once you add the other parts needed to get best use of it) and I dont have a plan for it. A few parts that I was interested in were out of stock (parts I expected to be available based on what they are and on other people's orders and loot shots): The Hammerhead Shark (I will buy the little submarine to get one of those I think) 1x1 round tiles in sand blue and dark orange That printed tavern flag from the pirate set Teal minifig legs The big Great White Shark from that one divers set (although after some further thought I am not sure I would have a use for it anyway) The fire helmet/hair combo from that ripcord fire helicopter The 2 x 6 tile (fairly basic piece that I would have thought would be up for sale) Black sausage Cloud plate in green (although that may be somehow special to Mario and therefore not for sale for that reason) Pink pig (although I think again its licensed somehow) Also threw in a TLM2 CMF just to get free shipping as it was cheap :) Lets hope I get the parts I ordered (and none go on back-order or otherwise don't arrive) and lets hope none of the prices go up compared to what I expected to pay (is that still a thing and when do the prices usually go up if they are going to?) Loot shot will probably go up when they get here :)
  24. If you have the old Town Plan set from 2008, the town hall from that would be much better for a BTTF creation than this one :)
  25. Just a friendly reminder to check if the cost of certain parts on B&P is actually any good or if there are better options. The 1/4 circle tile with rainbow print from the Dots line would cost me $2 each on Bricks & Pieces right now here in Australia. I can buy the entire Rainbow Bracelet set for $8 from a local retailer and get 5 of the tile in question plus all the other parts. Buying that tile on B&P would therefore be a stupid idea. Conversely the trans-blue water slide parts (straight and curved) would cost about 2x as much to buy on BL as they would on B&P and on B&P I can buy 50 each of the curved and straight if I wanted to.
