Snagged a few nice pieces from the bins at the local lego store including the astronaut dog torso, cream pie with sprinkles, purple legs with pink polka dots, dark red print steak and a Iab coat with green splotches that I didn't even know was bam only. No sign of the new parts for 2022 like the cake suit yet.

Ultimately you have to remember that the parts for sale on Bricks & Pieces are made because a production run of that part is done for a set that needs it. If LEGO are not doing any more production runs of, say, the City Wildlife sets then they likely won't be doing more production runs of parts like the elephants (unless there is another set planned that contains them which is unlikely at this point in time)

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

I think Alien Conquest is one of the best Space type themes of recent times.Although the newer Space Police did have some nice sets like that limo (really wishing I had been able to obtain the large base from that line) -

Maybe the barn is a 4+ set? -
If you want to talk Hanna-Barbera, I want Jetsons stuff please. Or Tom and Jerry (probably the most famous characters created by that particular duo)

Snagged the Picnic in the Park set today. The squirrels are cool and I love that I finally have a yellow bike for my collection (no way I was paying he going rate for the old yellow bike or the rare set it came in) Really good set IMO and exactly the kind of set we need more of. -

Picnic in the Park is top of my wish list this year. The hospital, police station and mobile command truck are on my wish list as well. -
The fact that they released the James Bond car shows that they are obviously OK with Bond to some extent.

Yeah "Outback Explorers" in City would be great. So many potential new animal molds like Kangaroos, Emus, Platypus, Koalas, Frill-Neck Lizards, bearded dragons and more to pick from. Existing molds they could use include the snake, spider, crocodile, frog and maybe (like they did in the Wildlife Rescue theme this year) repaint the eagle in another pattern to represent an Australian bird of prey of some sort. Give the minifigs fedoras (which are a good match to the Akubra style hat that's associated with the Aussie outback) and have a ute (the Aussie version of a pickup truck) in there.

There is no way Sonic will be a Jan 1st release, they would have announced it by now if it was.

With Marvel getting the Daily Bugle in 2021 I can't see Marvel getting a release that big in 2022. (especially since we know they are getting another big-sized hulk-buster.

To be fair, the event that lead to the bomb factory cancellation happened too close to the release for it to be stopped before it got as far as it did. Same with the Osprey, the push from whatever groups pushed against it didn't come until it was close to release and lots of copies had been sent to stores.

If they repeat what they did with the piano and include electronics in the Jazz set that would push the price up.

Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

I think the mistake with the marvel mechs was switching the design of the hip joint away from the piece with the 3 ball joints (a part that is still being produced and is in several sets that will be hanging around for quite a while such as the new VW van and the dark red pickup truck). Why they would change a perfectly good hip/leg design is beyond me. -
They should have released some of the stage sets (maybe some of the smaller ones like the car) alongside the first wave of blind boxes and clear-container thing.
-
You forgot the Chicken, Panda, Giraffe, Elephant, Shark and Penguin (and probably others)

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Is that dark orange on the ground floor? -
Would GCPD be popular enough to sell at that price? Wayne tower maybe (the one from the Dark Knight films) especially with all the labs and gear from the films) but GCPD, I just can't see it being popular enough.

Anyone know if projects from the Dune universe are allowed on ideas? I suspect that given the universe revolves around the harvesting of a highly addictive mind-altering drug and rather violent conflicts over who gets to control that drug, the answer is no.

If its DC, I concur the most likely things are Arkham or some sort of big Batcave/Wayne Manor set. I think DC is more likely than Marvel though given they just released the Bugle this year as a big expensive Marvel d2c that will still be on shelves through 2022.

If they make the soccer table a fully playable table with a full set of players (using minifigs as the players and matching the relative proportions of a real soccer table) then that could end up being a more expensive one. If they do go that way, I just hope they include multiple balls so people have spares in case they go missing...

Marvel is getting a new Hulkbuster D2C and I doubt we would see another big Marvel set so soon after the Bugle.

If they waste money putting stupid overpriced electrical crap in the Jazz set its going right off my wish list.
