If this is true, that would be GREAT. Its about time Australia got a look-in when it comes to these real-world monument sets and the Opera House is the most recognizable Aussie icon. The only other thing I could think of that would be recognizable would be to follow on from Tower Bridge and do the Sydney Harbor Bridge (out of black technic naturally)

Given that I saw the Slave 1 (and others) in several retailers today (including but not limited to K-Mart) that K-Mart employee was either lying or (more likely) mis-informed by his bosses.

Went to several Toyworld stores today. Toyworld Whitfords is now gone Nothing interesting in Toyworld Midland. But Toyworld Balcatta had new stock including the Yellow LEGO Truck plus the Hero Factory sets (both the bionicle-type figures and some of the vehicle sets). They also confirmed what others have heard regarding availability of Minifigures series 2 (at least at Toyworld) giving me a date of "September" and repeating the claim that each store will only get one box. No sign of the Farmer or Kingdoms impulses (I am inclined to believe the reports that all 3 wont be making it to Australia) or the City house yet. The Yellow LEGO Truck will set you back one yellow note ($50) :)

Lets hope these hit Australia soon, I really need some Surfers :P

Definatly liking this. I am definatly getting the karate guy (for the trophy and the hair), pop star (for the microphone and hair although the torso and legs also have possibilities), Mexican (for that HAT plus the maracas), Strongman (for the weights), Disco guy (for the hair and the glasses face plus that record), Surfer x 2 (for everything) & skier (for the skis and poles). May get a second skier, a third surfer, a Ringmaster (for the torso) and a cop (for the sunglasses face)

Given that they just released (and are still selling) the Imperial Flagship, I cant see that a UCS Black Perl would come out so soon. OTOH, they DID do a UCS Batmobile (which was a GREAT parts pack at the price I ended up paying) so it may happen later.

The only place I have seen the lambo is at MYER, I think its a MYER exclusive. Haven't seen any Ferrari sets in ages (last ones I saw were some of the minifig scale F1 sets)

You could always take the S1 caveman torso and legs plus the S2 barbells (or new barbells per your design) and then mix it with a suitable head and hair and get what you want.

Don't forget the 5591 Mach II Red Bird Rig, its (AFAIK) the only LEGO set to feature a fixed-wing airplane on the back of a truck. There is also the 8433 Cool Movers technic set (the only technic set I can find with a truck and aircraft)

Handcuffs were included as extras in several sets. I doubt the barbells are small enough to be included as extras.

I would say that the Handcuffs will be an extra. Pop Star, definatly Microphone (the part is small enough that its likely) Adventurer, maybe extra set of binoculars (they may be just small enough to count) None of the other figs have parts small enough to be extras IMO.

I had one guy who wanted a copy of my Mercedes Benz OC500LE bus so I made him one and he was really happy with it. No parts came from my collection, they were all parts bought from Bricklink.

I too would love to see a giant space set (bigger even than sets like the Galactic Enforcer) as long as the color scheme and parts selection was good.

White is a boring color IMO, as is grey. You dont see too many real super cars in white or grey. White and various colors of grey/silver are IMO the most boring (and most common) car colors and are what you see on dealer lots for all kinds of boring everyday cars.

If LEGO produced TRON sets, I would buy every product they release no matter what.

Still a lot of Blockade Runners at K-Mart. Guess people weren't willing to pay RRP for them :P

If they can make the color, I want to see the next supercar done in the metallic green color from the 8466 4x4 off-roader set. If not that, any color other than black, white, red or yellow would be great.

I believe the reason that the Buzz parts are in seperate bags is the same reason that the alien head in the TS3 alien promo was in a separate bag and the reason the Kingdoms jester impulse set has the jesters hat in a seperate bag, namely that these pieces (and others which have been painted in some way such as the motorcycle from the Indy cemetery set) are produced in China and are then packaged up specially in the small bags for shipment to wherever the sets are packaged.

I attempted to bag-build my Toy Story 3 alien promo but gave up because A.The instructions are inside the bag and B.I couldn't get the alien head out of the little internal bag.

3 exclusives being the City Public Transport, TRU truck and what else?
