That helicopter in the latest series reminds me a lot of a Huey.

Highlights of the set based on the inventory picture: New orange brick separator Red-brown unprinted minifig head Dark blue 1 x 1 tile (only exists to date as a printed part in POTC sets, lets hope its use in this set translates to an appearance in something I can actually afford) Other nice dark blue parts Light blue parts (including 2 x 2 tile with stud in center) Clear 1 x 1 brick Printed hotel sign 1 x 2 x 2 castle windows in white and tan

I suspect "LEGO City: Fire in the Forest!" is going to be similar to the other small City books that include a single minifig plus accessories

It should be possible to do it with the pickup truck from the 7206 Fire Helicopter (with the exception of the hose string)

Picked up the fire helicopter at Riverton Big W. When I left, there was 1 helicopter and about 1/2 dozen boats left. None of the truck+boat at all.

Nice job on that furniture, its GREAT. I never thought of using that technic knob wheel as the wheels on a wheelie office chair, I am going to have to pinch that idea :)

I wasnt interested in the fire helicopter before but at these prices, it might be worth getting the helicopter, boat or truck+boat (or some combination of the above) Just when you think you have bought all the lego you plan to buy for 2011, bam, out comes an amazing deal that's so good its worth buying things you never even thought you would buy. Who can say no to ~63% off on that fire helicopter :)

Does anyone know anything about a .au release for the 8110 Technic Unimog or the 5767 Cool Cruiser (i.e. when and who will stock these)

Carousel had the 25% off signs up and sold me the City Moon Buggy and the Kingdoms Blacksmith at 25% off (which beat the TRU prices on both sets) Surprisingly TRU had the lowest RRP of any retailer for the Collectable Minifigures (add in the 20% off and the race car driver I picked up was a bargain)

Looks like that 25% off is the place to get my Blacksmith shops (Kingdoms and maybe NinjaGo) and my City moon buggy :) Glad I didnt make the stupid decision to buy them today at K-Mart at full RRP. Maybe I should go to somewhere with both a Toys R Us and a MYER so I can be sure to get what I want at the best possible price (might be able to find Series 3 at the same place too for my race car driver :)

Has anyone seen any Series 3 left in Perth? I am looking for a race car driver :)

The windscreen comes in set 7286 and the roof in set 3386

If you look at the new forest police station here http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/TheScooterGuy/Temporary/2012/lego_itp_076.jpg you can see that they are clearly 1 x 1 x 2 bricks.

I didnt notice the animal grid in 4436 but now that I have seen it it looks cool. Based on the sign, it doesn't look like a cattle stopper, it looks like a bear stopper.

Nice job there, only thing I would do is to put a small ANZ logo sticker on the curved bit above the ATM.

Loving the 2 tiny sets (in the plastic containers) as always. Surprised that they have not one but TWO airplanes plus a motorcycle, sports car and dinosaur. Yellow jet airplane and blue car could be nice parts packs.

New ranger hat for the police looks cool as do the new 1 x 2 brick-patterned piece (if LUGBULK runs again in 2012, I bet a LOT of clubs are going to order the 1 x 2 brick piece) Some nice new heads there as well. And is that a new roof piece on the small police car? As for the sets, that large police helicopter reminds me a lot of a Chinook (not particularly interested in buying it though) The police station could be interesting. The small police car is GREAT and the quad bike could also be good depending on the final set. The generic vehicles, the motorbike transport is cool, must get that (is that dark bley or light bley for the roof, I am hoping for light bley) the wheelbarrow is great, not so sure about the truck though. The caravan has some nice parts (torsos, blue windscreen, new curvy bumper bar part on the front of the car) The recycle truck looks like a good parts pack (all that green :) The ambulance is also good. Just when I thought 2012 would be a cheap year, LEGO surprises again.

Love the new mudguards, a set in dark bley (plus those fat wheels) should let me improve the design of my 6-wide dark bley Landcruiser (the really rugged off-road kind, not the ugly SUV "Prado" model)

Some of the new moulds in this line look GOOD. the 3933 lab set is GREAT, especially the blackboard, blue tool wheel, drawers (can always use more of those) and is that the beaker from the Collectable Figures scientist? Can anyone tell what the trans-red red part on the microscope is? Almost looks like a 1 x 1 cone but not quite. The fashion studio set also looks good with the camera, more drawers, ruler piece, laptop and other things. Is that a piano in the set with the singer? There is definatly a new flower piece in some of these sets, the orange ones in the vet look new to me. The stable door in the vet surgeon is cool, hopefully it appears in other colors in other sets in the future (brown would be nice, as would black). Cafe is also cool with the cupcake and whatever the thing with the handle is that you can see through the window in the center of the picture (near the confidential stamp) As for the house, I spy the new handbag, a flipper thing in the hand of the guy at the bbq as well as what looks like a new blue bowl piece and it looks like the bbq itself has some new parts. Looks like a possible new part for the arms of the swing and a new set of handlebars on the lawnmower.

The fire sets dont look too bad so far, still hoping TLG makes a red version of that tailpiece (which so far exists in blue, white and black) in a set sometime though as I have a project idea in mind that needs it :) I think the fire airplane looks far better than that ugly monstrosity of a seaplane we got a few years ago in the police theme.
