  1. What I am going to do is to use the instructions from http://lego.brickinstructions.com/instructions.php?code=5767 and one each of the 8 bags that I do have and then see how far I get (grabbing bits as needed from wherever). Hopefully I have all the parts somewhere in my collection (for those parts that are only found in the 9th bag and not the first 8 rather than being in both the first 8 and the 9th)
  2. The summer house is a second-half set so we likely wont see pictures of it for quite a while. I bet the big toy fairs are where we will catch the first glimpse of it.
  3. Thanks for the pics, its exactly what I wanted and it confirms my theory about why this set was delayed and why a bunch of Aussie clubs were given parts from this set for free. If anyone here happens to buy one or can otherwise help, an inventory of the bag with the smaller bag inside (and of the smaller inside bag) would be very very useful. What appears to have happened is that TLG made copies of this set that were missing pieces somehow. These copies included all the parts except those in that extra bag with the small bag inside. These sets were shipped to various places (including Australia) ready for sale. Then TLG became aware of the missing pieces and issued a recall on the set so they could repackage them. But because of the huge cost of shipping all those sets back from Australia to Europe for re-packaging they appear to have decided to donate the contents of the sets to local lego clubs. So I appear to have ended up with 24 copies of this set minus the boxes, instructions and the contents of that 9th "extra" poly-bag. Now I just need the instructions (and an inventory of the 9th "extra" bag so I can find the bits in my collection) and I can build the set (I always like to build new sets at least once)
  4. The more I look at these, the more I like them. A LOT. The medical guy is clearly a surgeon with the mask, cap and gloves on. Oh and does anyone else think of "Happy Days" when they look at that mechanic?
  5. Knowing TLG though, they may just call him "Computer Programmer" :)
  6. Looking at the high-res of the police station, I can now see that the unknown accessory I asked about earlier is in fact a walkie-talkie.
  7. How do we know the computer guy is a nerd and not a geek? I cant put my finger on it but the torso on that guy reminds me of someone geeky from some TV show or movie (or some really famous geek, not sure which). Just cant remember who.
  8. That bat-cave is nowhere near as good as the last one. As for the others, I will reserve judgement until better pictures appear.
  9. I found the pics on http://en.bricker.ru, click on 2012. The recycling center is great, good to see that TLG is continuing to encourage kids to save the planet (following on from things like the solar panels on various sets, the wind turbine transport and the recycling bins in various sets) Hopefully if its a store exclusive, it comes to TRU or Target or MYER here because all 3 seem to have fairly regular sales :) Not so interested in most of the fire stuff, I already have lots of fire sets and firemen. Loving the caravan, new female torso, another green jumper torso, new (or new color) female hair, more trans-light-blue on the caravan and a new roof piece on the car. Pitty the bike is red though, I wish it had been another color, how many red bikes do you see in real life? The police Chinook is interesting but not interesting enough to make me buy. Liking the bandits hideout, good way to get bears. The dark-red pickup truck is cool, gives me many of the parts I would need to build some sort of dark-red vehicle of my own. And is that a new torso on the bad guy? The cop car with the cattle grid is great, good way to stock up on the new cops. I just LOVE that ambulance with the green bike, traffic light, green garbage can and new EMT torsos. And its good to see the bike rider wearing a helmet (although maybe he wasnt wearing it and that's why the ambulance showed up :) The dirt bike transport isn't that good, the only good things are the black wheel arches and the light grey roof piece. Anyone see what color those baseball caps are? As for the garbage truck, it could be that they are collecting the dead fish, banana peel and other rubbish to take it somewhere to be composted as green waste. After all, that's how you "recycle" organic rubbish. Good set though, can anyone see what part is being used for the walls of the garbage truck? Looks new to me. The tipper truck has new parts for the tipper bed, a black baseball cap and the new wheelbarrow. And orange car doors. Pitty the light bars are 1 x 2 and not 1 x 1, I need the 1 x 1 tile in trans-orange :) That police dog squad is a MUST BUY, its better than the last one, blue car doors, blue windscreen, gold mine sticker, more dark red, new wheel arches in dark grey, 2 dogs and another appearance of the now ubiquitous handcuff piece (one of the best pieces TLG has made in recent years IMO) The police station is good, 3 cops, 2 criminals (both with new-for-2012 torsos), a neat-looking truck, a neat-looking helicopter, the new brick-detailing 1 x 2, the bear and what looks like one of the HP mushrooms. Can anyone see what part is clipped into the clip inside the police station (near the ladder)?
  10. Looking at the picture, I think that the 1 x 2 tile with the music notes is actually a cellphone. You can tell because you can see the little phone icons at the bottom. The concert set reminds me a lot of the Belville set 5942 (although the keyboard in that set was cooler with the stickered tiles :) I gotta get me that blackboard from the science lab set. Pitty about the tools being purple though. And is that one of the new 1 x 1 round tile things in tr-dk-green on the robot? The vet studio is cool and I hope we see that small half-door piece in other colors in the future. The small ATV is a nice set, I love the bunny rabbit (although its still too big for my Minifigures Series 1 magician to pull out of his hat :) and the fact that it has more of the large puffy balloon tires. Me, I am hoping that some of the Friends sets give me the abillity to obtain some of the parts in lime-green that I have otherwise been unable to obtain (1 x 1 plates specifically)
  11. Anyone got another source for the pics, the German site isn't working anymore.
  12. Some wishes (that would never happen): Top Gun TRON E.R. Star Trek TNG or Enterprise Dilbert Ghostbusters
  13. Does anyone have a picture of the bags in this set? Can anyone tell me how many bags come in the set? Also, anyone know where to find instructions for this set (they are not on the LEGO site for some reason...)
  14. WOW series 7 is just as good as Series 6. As a self-confessed nerd who spends far too much time staring at a computer screen, the nerd is GREAT and I will want at least 2, maybe more, depends how good the torso is. I can always use new styles of glasses head though :) The bagpiper is also amazing, I gotta get me some pipes. Those 2 plus maybe the tennis player are the only ones I can see myself buying multiples of. But I gotta get me a bride, female punk rocker, stuntman & swimmer. The undersea king is cool because its a way to get the cool triple-way beard without the need to buy NinjaGo. Might get the hippie, space warrior, red riding hood and the jungle guy with the ape. Have no interest whatsoever in the Aztec guy, viking, bunny suit guy or knight.
  15. The metal track is from http://www.me-models.com/store/index.php?cPath=22_57
  16. I like this idea, I voted for the Sydney Opera House architecture set. In fact any LEGO set of an Aussie landmark would be amazing to see and would be something I would buy. What I would like to see on the site is a list of, say, the 10 projects with the most supporters at any given time. That way I can see if any of them are worth supporting and if so, add my support to help them get further.
  17. The huge dump truck with the huge tipper body is great, I am glad I bought one, it makes a great mining truck for an iron ore mine or something.
  18. I checked every BA reseller and none have either the tan cricket bat OR the zombie pack :( Looks like my plan to produce a cricket match MOC is right out :( I checked every BA reseller and none have either the tan cricket bat OR the zombie pack :( Looks like my plan to produce a cricket match MOC is right out :(
  19. Can anyone tell me how I can get a pair of these? I looked on http://minifigworld.com/ who are the local BA reseller and they dont have either the bat OR the zombie pack that had it, I cant find it anywhere. I am really wanting to get a pair for a MOC project. The BA webpage itself just lists black and says "tan comming soon" just like it has done ever since the cricket bat was first released :(
  20. I wonder why they made the lances the way they did instead of using the lance accessory.
  21. <picks jaw up off floor> All I can say is WOW. This may qualify as the best castle set of all time.
  22. Damn, a Target 20% off everything sale AND a TRU 20% off City sale? Now I need to resist the urge to go out LEGO shopping tomorrow even more :( So tempted by the animals and other cool parts in the Mill Village Raid, the cool looking bits in the Space Centre, the boat bits in the Marina, and all the NICE parts in the London Escape... 23. I have said it before and I will say it again, this bank looks GOOD. Looks like it could easily have been a smaller bank that got swallowed up by the ANZ in one of the many many mergers that entity has undergone over the years :)
  24. I like Alien Conquest and hope it gets a second wave in 2012, there is so much potential for this theme (more so than junk like NinjaGo :) Although I hope whatever space theme comes next after Alien Conquest is more like the space themes of old (Classic Space, Futuron, Space Police, Blacktron, M:Tron, Ice Planet) and less like themes such as Mars Mission or Space Police III
  25. If anyone in Perth wants the City House, Toyworld in Midland had about 1/2 dozen left along with at least one fire brigade.
