    So do we have any kind of info on when the new fire station or fire truck will be available in the big retailers? I want both for parts for various fire MOCs I have planned. Perth CBD is a LEGO wasteland right now (unless you happen to want Series 9, the Museum break-in, Octan tanker or police ATV in which case MYER can help you out)

    Has anyone seen any good deals on the Hulk Helicarrier set? I have had my eye on it for a while but there is no way I am paying $99 for a set that only costs $49 in the US...

    Since its a David Jones exclusive, your easiest option is to buy it from David Jones online (as of right now its $239.99 plus shipping)

    The markup (vs the USA) on the City and Creator isn't too bad but the markup on the TMNT sets is as bad as other licensed films.

    Regarding the cargo plane, if you look at the big international cargo and parcel companies, most of the airplanes they use are freighter/cargo conversions/models of passenger jets like the Boeing 747F freighter and the Airbus A330F freighter. Most cargo planes therefore have the same sleek look as the passenger jets. Now LEGO could have done a cargo plane based on a larger chunkier military transport like the C-130 Hercules, C-17 Globemaster or C-5 Galaxy but they wouldn't have been as attractive to the core audience as a sleek jet plane...

    For those in Australia, I just spotted a box of Series 9 in the MYER at Westfield North Lakes QLD.

    I think hell just froze over... I am sitting outside Westfield north lakes in QLD and MYER has 2013 product on the shelf! 1 box Minifigures series 9 (grey bags) Ninjago 70500/1/2 Octan tanker truck police quad bike Young builders princess and fire truck. Even on holidays to another state I can find new stuff :)

    If the parts selectioin on this is good enough, it will likely join my grand emporium and become my second modular. Can anyone name an existing set that has a lot of dark tan so I can get a feel for exactly which color this is?

    The first Arkham set included a cell for Riddler. No idea if it is canon though :)

    Good idea, I do own a few of those and I have watched enough Real Ghostbusters episodes on YouTube to know that ghosts like that could work (especially if I stuck the right plain-colored head in there)

    No way I can afford the price Rotta is selling for :) hmmm, one idea could be to build a minifig looking like some sort of bad guy (someone who might have been a ghost in the past) and give them a trans-clear head.

    hmmm yeah, the classic ghost might work better than I thought. Its instantly recognizable as a ghost and if I give it the right body parts (I have a glow-in-the-dark skeleton skull somewhere that could work well) then it could definatly work.

    I am working on a Ghostbusters MOC but I cant think of ideas for how to build actual ghosts. I have one http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2888 but it doesn't look like a suitable ghost for my Ghostbusters to bust. Anyone want to suggest other ideas? Or anyone want to suggest that using the Castle ghost shroud for my Ghostbusters is a good idea (and suggest how to use it)? I dont have any of the Monster Fighters ghosts so that's not an option :)

    I will be in QLD in a few days and am planning a trip up to Brisbane... Will be hard to resist buying a Hobbit Hole when over there.
