Anyone know who has the store-exclusive Dino ocean set?

I only wish the Spider and Rat in the MF set were in the new GITD color like they are in the Mad Scientist set.

Finally found the Monster Fighters mad scientist at the Toys R Us in Innaloo, I suggest if you want it, Toys R Us is the most likely place to find one at this point.

Only deal I saw in MYER Perth today was the 2-for-1 on boardgames (but that does include LEGO boardgames from what I could see)

It may be that the Arkham Asylum set is going to be some sort of limited release or store exclusive (similar to how the Joker/Riddler Fun-house was a store exclusive this year)

This is seriously awesome, looks just like the real thing.

I would have to say the 8466 4x4 off-roader. Great suspension, great steering, 4 wheel drive, nice gearbox and motor and that metallic green color is one of the coolest LEGO colors ever (I wish I could get more). And its got some of the largest wheels ever put into a LEGO set. But if I could, I would pick 1999's Super Street Sensation as the best. It was the set that brought me out of my dark ages and the perfect example of how a Technic super-car SHOULD be (unlike the last set to carry the "Supercar" name)

Can anyone confirm if the Spiderman set is an exclusive or not? I ask because on the one hand someone said its a Big W exclusive but on the other hand, the 2012 catalog I got today does not mark it with the "exclusive" mark. Also Mr Toys claims to be selling it (which they would not be doing if it was a Big W exclusive)

Has amoyne actually sighted the mad scientist yet? I must have called/visited half the LEGO stores in the state and none have it in stock. I did find the swamp monster at Toyworld Midland though :)

I too am disappointed about the lack of the CMF guitar in the Rock Band set. And I am disappointed that it will be quite hard (and probably expensive) for us Aussies to obtain. But its still cool and I sill want one (green Mohawk, black rocker girl hair, baseball cap that may or may not have new printing)

Quite a few Castle sets with 4 horses including the 6086 Black Knights Castle, 6085 Black Monarchs Castle and 6080 Kings Castle. There is also the 6055 Prisoner Convoy with no less than 5(!) horses in it (no way would LEGO put more than one horse in a set that size these days)

joondalup bigw has the spiderman ser plus the hearse, castle, zombies, mummy, train, werewolf. kmart has same monster fighters excpet zombies target has about 1/2 dozzen diqagon alley sets no sign of the swamp monster or frankenstien sets yet.

Now all you need is a BrickForge golf club and it will be perfect :)

If Adelaide has stock, it might be worth checking further with some local stores to find out who has Monster Fighters in stock (then again, no-one has reported seeing the Frankenstein set yet which is the one I really want) Also, TRU Carousel had Spongebob in stock (I thought it was a Target exclusive but obviously not anymore)

MYER Carousel has monster fighters castle, train & hearse. K-Mart Carousel still has a few of the big space shuttle. No sign of the smaller monster fighters yet.

The trans-neon-green windscreen and other UFO parts are from a 6915 Warp Wing Fighter The printed black windscreen suggests you have parts from a 6155 Deep Sea Predator (as does the bendy arm with the claw and the mailbox with the blue magnet holder)

Great to hear that Monster Fighters has hit .au at last. Those K-Mart prices aren't that bad actually (vs the US price) Just have to hope I can find a good price on the Frankenstein set (the one set I particularly want)

Its so hard to decide but I would have to go for the 1526 Space set (probably the rarest Space set on the planet, it may not have even been released). Or if that set doesn't count because its unreleased, I would have to go with the Futuron Monorail Transport System (only Futuron set I dont even pretend that I own/can build from my collection and definatly up there as one of the greatest Space sets of all time)

Both DJs and Target Perth CBD had the new Friends sets (not the horse sets, the caravan, airplane, speedboat, bedroom etc) Didn't see them in MYER but I wasn't really paying a lot of attention to the Friends sets there. All 3 stores had stock of the City stuff (mining and the medical center) Tempted by some of the parts in those Friends sets (especially the caravan set and the airplane set) but I also need to save money for Series 8, Monster Fighters and the Hobbit sets (that Bag End set is amazing) Lets hope LEGO Australia gets it RIGHT this time and has stock of the Hobbit stuff on the shelf BEFORE the movie opens in cinemas...

Anyone got any ideas on how to build drums for a marching band? I have 5 CMF bagpipers and I want to build a matching band with 2 pipers, 2 drummers and a leader (or maybe 3 pipes and 2 drums). Anyone got any ideas on how to build the drums?
