  1. Very characteristically awesome SK castle. I can't get over how easy you make this stuff look. I really like the color choices but the base is especially interesting here.
  2. Thanks Rogue. I tried to make the brick seams regular at least, because I see that too. What I probably should have done is gone for a broken-up texture with bricks scattered here and there rather than something newer looking. My big dock warehouse building from one of my sig builds would have been good as a reference.
  3. I dig this build. Don't know how I feel about THESE skeleton heads. To my mind, the more detailed ones would maybe have worked better.
  4. Very cool details here, feels beat up and industrial the way peak Star Wars should.
  5. This is a nice little apartment with some thoughtful details like the paneling, door, and bed. I think if possible you should avoid so much visible studs in an artificial space, since the smoothness of tiles offers a more "machined" look. The table is probably okay but the top of the cabinet stands out and if I had to choose between floor or table to have studs, I'd pick one and tile over the other fully. Limited pieces can make such things harder though. For the lighting, I'd suggest using GIMP to brighten the images. That can usually do the job if you don't have a lighting set up at home (I don't either).
  6. Awesome seen. So much going on here.
  7. Very good color choices. Rare to see so much dark green.
  8. Very nice build. Lots of great details and quite expansive. Lots of good use of "empty" space here.
  9. Nice, small scene. All the landscaping and architecture are effortless as always. I also like your tendency to use classic castle figs in many of your builds.
  10. Gorgeous, Gideon. As always!
  11. Awesome idea and execution. Thanks for including those insert shots with the figs, too. I try to do stuff like that because I try to make the fig posing and stuff interesting and it can get lost in wider shots. Always like to see other RBG players doing similar things with big, intricate builds like this one.
  12. Great scene with cool lighting. Funny story, I tried to include Lady Eleanor in my Calcio build. I thought that I didn't have the right torso piece and then found it days after posting.
  13. Very nice build. Lots of cool details and interactive features. The floor is probably the standout!
  14. Isn't that shield the Markarth shield from Skyrim? Great build. Really put my Gnome Gate build to shame, haha.
  15. I agree about the base kind of overpowering the MOC. It's a good low-key MOC with a cool tree, good snow-work, and an interesting harness for the ox. I think the shield emblem for Mitgardia is nice, too, even though the base could be much reduced to better effect.
  16. ;) GAH! I just realized I spelled "Illaryian" wrong again in the post title!
  17. Great story and interesting base. I like the range of figs but my favorite part is the shed and wagon. Those pieces are bundles of wheat?
  18. Unfortunately, this build does seem a little undercooked. The figs are great, though.
  19. Love the figs. Great variety and people from all the guilds are represented. I also like the ideas of using games like caber toss for this. I've said it elsewhere but I was expecting the responses to be Cat B to be less imaginative overall than they were, which is a pleasant surprise!
  20. Great work on the perspective and alley. I've been through some similar alleys in Andratx and you captured the confining height of buildings and narrowness of the actual footpath very well.
  21. Very nice old school style building. I like that it's literally bread. That makes me chuckle.
  22. Great collection of photos and a lot of action and good fig combos and posing. I'm a sucker for builds with a lot of figs. Keep working on the lighting and photography, we all start somewhere. My early stuff was blurry, dark, and badly shot. One additional point that might help is to be more consistent with the presentation in general. I appreciate that you had a kind of system with the small shot then big shot, but it'd be easier to "read" this post if your pics were more balanced in size and location.
  23. This is excellent. The photos might be a bit dark, but I think this is easily my favorite Cat B build. The buildings are crazy good and I appreciate what you did here because what I was doing with mine was similar in some ways. Yours is just better. :P
