I wouldn't mind another Chamber of Secrets. The last rendition left so much room to improve upon, especially with modern building techniques.

I don't think this has been posted here yet. Tommy Andreason posted HoT set concepts to Youtube a few weeks ago: Some of these are awesome, especially the one with the Ms. Marvel arms! It also contains some 2018 material which I've posted in the show thread. -
^ Kids these days...

Well, I certainly hope so. EDIT: The preview now has sound! I really like Lloyd's new voice. What does everyone think?

Maybe. No telling. Remember Dino Attack and Dino 2010? It may be a bad example, but some sets aren't released in certain regions. Maybe the Chima Ultrabuilds would be a better example? If it doesn't sell well in a certain region, the best solution is not to sell it there, and that's certainly true if the Western world has never heard of the IP. I never noticed that, thanks! EDIT: Oh, I'm a Count now? Nice...

My browser still says the site isn't fully secure (specifically in regards to images). Any reason for that? On the plus side, Firefox isn't warning me every time I want to log in. Thanks!

^Nope, but that's a neat find. EDIT: There's a new TV spot online with I'm going to stay away from the movie media for a while.

Ooh, nice. I like the method you used to create the sand dunes, and that skeleton is pretty awesome, too!- 16 replies

It'll probably get put on hold for a bit while the new CEO gets settled. However, that's not saying that we'll get whichever theme they do (even non-constraction themes and IPs). If they're not popular in the Western world, they may be exclusive to the Asian market. This is much more likely. I don't know if the Western world would see any Constraction sets come out of such an arrangement.

I really like MOCs like these, it just took me forever to realize they're in the Pirates forum and not the Historical forum. Great job! I'd love to own something like this!

This is really nice! I like the doors and the water. I'll have to try those on my next MOC!

Well, the Hageman brothers are back for this season, so I'm a lot more confident. EDIT: Big update - the preview now has sound! (I don't think anyone's posted this yet)- 4,591 replies

They sell. They're each the most popular character of their company, so I'd be surprised if we didn't see them in every MM wave.

The voice actor for Zane said that this is the best story they've done, rivaling even that of S1. I think they'll pull it off well. They're Ninjago fans, too!- 4,591 replies

Lego and Poliigon
Master_Data replied to Master_Data's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Same here. I'd love to animate them and give them a photo-realistic metallic texture, but at the rate I'm learning Blender, it will probably be a while until I have the skill to model them. If anyone has applied Poliigon textures to parts not accessible in Mecabricks, please let me know! -

The one in the Green Ninja Mechdragon holds pretty well, but the new "rice hat" has very little clutch power. The top part holds well on both the CMF and set versions I have, but the lower part spins freely when the upper part is removed. I was pretty disappointed to find that it has almost no friction, unlike the previous neck scarf piece. -

That's a pretty awesome list. I haven't checked in a while, but when did we get confirmation on Clock King? I love that design and would love to get it! -
Maybe it will be more like S14 Monsters, with the characters in "costumes." I'm hoping that's the case for most of the series, but at least a few figures will follow this format.

Wow, I didn't know Mecabricks could do this! Where can I find out more? One last question - does Mecabricks have Bionicle G1 parts in stock? I'd like to move on to that at some point. -

I never thought it was real. It makes so much sense for the new movie style hoods to transition into the TV show. The current hood mold has been around for two years already, and LEGO has replaced the hoods every two years or so: Original hood - 2011 ZX - 2012-2013, 2015 Techno - 2014-2015 Deepstone hood - 2015-2017 Movie hood - 2017 It really makes sense for the new movie hood to replace the current one at this point. Plus, it'll make for a smoother transition for new fans from the movie to the show, just like they are updating all the characters' appearances.- 4,591 replies

The second option looks pretty cool. I really don't get why mechs nowadays don't have knee articulation. It just looks so good.
