Seems a below average wave to me. Going to pick up the Shadow Trooper Battlepack, the T-16 Skyhopper and the Microfighter's AT-AT.
-
On the subject of the ITT: if it is a similar style vehicle to the 2008 Stormtrooper Dropship battlepack, what are the chances that the Stormies in this upcoming battlepack being OT?
-
This is pretty sweet!
-
Agreed. Lego could have easily made sets based on the micro series between 2003-2005, but now isn't the time to produce the sets. Why? There is no direct audience that watches the show on a day to day basis. My two pennies are that the custom fighter will be based on TCW.
-
Quite annoyed that the Stormtroopers in the ITT are Rebels, but was there any doubt about it? The rest of the wave does sound nice, definitely going to pick up the T-16 Skyhopper and the AAT

I'm really liking these customs! My favourite out of all of these has to be the 'Cloud Car Pilot'

[Petition] Save LEGO the Lord of the Rings
Slurpifier replied to Trunkbass's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Signed it. I have most of the LOTR sets (except Orthanc ) and it would be sad to see this theme end, with so much set potential left in the theme.- 298 replies

It seems every year, the quality of Lego gets better and better! I'm quite happy about this!
-
My favourite is just regular green, also tied with tan! I usually mix both of these colours in my builds.
-
Seems like an interesting idea. One can only hope it is true.
-
One can only hope it is an OT based set, which I pray it is! I couldn't stand seeing a BP with Stormtroopers who's helmets are melting
-
Hmmmm, didn't the Clone Wars TV series have similar animations playing before them?

Meh, as long as the Shadow Trooper BP has decent figures, that set and the Skyhopper will be the only two sets I'll buy from the main wave (I will however, collect all of the Microfighters as well)

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...
Slurpifier replied to The Kid's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I quite enjoyed the premiere last night. The first time I have watched Doctor Who since 2011 -
Picked up today whilst shopping; The Lego Movie Western Glider, Kashyyyk Troopers Battle Pack and another microfighters Turbo Tank (was priced at £3.99!)
-
I could imagine that the upcoming 'Geonosis Troopers' will most likely be featuring the AOTC Phase I Clones, mainly because TCW has ended, and that The Lego Group may not view the show having many positive marketing outcomes.
-
Was doing some shopping today, when I found the Clone Turbo Tank on a Microfighter stand for £3.99 Sadly, it was the last Turbo Tank there, but I'm glad I finally made a Lego purchase after a few months since my last.
-
I'm stuck between getting either the Kashyyyk Trooper BP, or the Utapau Trooper BP as a little gift for a friend. Could anyone steer me into the best direction?
-
Those new helmets are really sweet looking! For some reason, the second helmet reminds me of something from either the Clone Wars, or even something from the Halo universe.

2015 The LEGO Movie rumors and discussion
Slurpifier replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I agree. A whole new line-up of fresh funny energetic characters would be ideal. If the original cast of the first film re-appeared as the main cast for the sequel, the story may fall flat. -
I'm not going to voice my opinions on these sets, since mine are pretty much the same as the majority here. I'll easily pick up a few of the Witch King Battle sets, mainly for parts and of course the Witch King. On the subject of the Battle of the Five Armies set, I'll probably wait until its discounted at Christmas time, which always happens to LOTR and The Hobbit sets.
