  6. You can always build on those, they'll just count as neutral planets
  7. Definitely not-purist. But using customs is allowed only on your sigfig, so you can still post it to the forum. Just be sure not to use any other non-LEGO parts and maybe keep some backups if your paper pauldron doesn't hold up. Welcome to the Empire
  8. "Imperial troops have entered the base..." We'll take Hoth. Merry Christmas
  9. 40 to Bob, please. Can somebody clarify why I didn't get the job bonus? Granted the character didn't know how to fly the ship, but that's a pretty technical reading, IMO since he was in the pilot seat regardless. No big deal either way, just curious.

[Hannibal] "Dora? Where are we" [Zoid crewman] "Who is Dora? What is going on up there?" [Dora] "Don't panic, John. You're above Arium Minor. I've uploaded myself into a drone, and... a portion of your conscious has replaced what's left in the cyborg pilot." [Zoid crewman] "Pilot! Answer me! Why haven't we started our descent?" [Hannibal] "Dora? I don't understand. I died!" [Dora] "You're not going to understand everything right now, John. When MANTIS uploaded a portion of your brain, they didn't know I was in there and could help us escape into their network. Because we make up such a large and complex data file, I had to scatter portions of ourselves throughout Andromeda. So there's a version of us moving through their network where you are having explain this predicament to me because different portions of us are at work." [Zoid crewman] "What the heck are you talking about! You're GONNA die if I have to come up there and drag you out of that cockpit." [Dora] "Hold on John. You haven't gotten use to your ability to speak and have alerted the crewman. I'm going to launch the drone." [Hannibal] "Oh, sorry Dora." Besides, short term memory is going to be a struggle for a while since they didn't map that portion of your brain. You're also going to have to get use to a lot of virtual processing techniques we AIs use. Banking port." [Hannibal] "Are you sure it was smart to kill the crewman? I have no idea how to fly this thing, which seems kind of weird. Wasn't I a pilot?" [Dora] "Like I said, we could only move you around in portions; your memory associated with piloting is still out there somewhere looking for a physical form to escape through. I'll release enough of this cyborg's brain to get us to the surface. I'm hopeful that more of your consciousness will be able to make it's way into Kawashita's mainframe. Their cyborgs are a good way for us to get enough physical controls to escape." [Hannibal] "Where to now?" [Dora] "We've got to make it back to Octan without getting shot down outright. From there, I think I know who will be able to get all your parts back into one body."
  11. ~Man these guys are intense. Ever since the company broke up that cell on Kuat, we've been quite busy. It's been good for me; most of the squad has been so tired and busy that they've mostly forgotten about me, except they did make me the company guidon. I'm not sure if it's because I've finally been able to focus and get myself squared away, or if it's just an elaborate joke; either way, running with this thing SUCKS.~ ~Now, on Commenor, we've been called in by some scary dudes to help in the search for some other scary dude. I heard it's a suicide mission and that's why they called in my company of replacements to get killed instead of the locals, which is pretty much how it goes for us.~ ~Whatever it is, there are lots of spooky characters on this planet. Supposedly those older guys are clone troopers from the old days, not sure how they're even alive. Then theres all these white garbed assassins that either glare unnecessarily or weirdly smile at inappropriate times. The main creeper struts around like the emperor himself, pulling up in his private hover car.~ [ISB Officer] "Company! Your task on Commenor is crucial and failure will NOT be tolerated. Loose among these streets is one of the most ruthless killers employed by the anarchist trying to bring your beloved Empire to submission. His name is Goatm An..." ~Hey, I know that guy~ "...His ship was intercepted and shot down by brave Imperial officers, but the local garrison was too COMPLACENT to quarantine him in time. YOU are here to correct that mistake. Your company's reputation precedes you. I expect every corner of this forsaken town INSPECTED and CLEANSE of this unholy menace before he STRIKES AGAIN! The citizens of the Empire are counting on YOU. Do NOT fall prey to his tricks. Do not rest until this scourge is brought to IMPERIAL JUSTICE. ~Wow, that guy didn't seem that bad when I met him. I mean I can't imagine him stalking through these streets like some kind of deranged madman.~ [Goatm] Interesting. This is not a branch of the ISB I'm use to finding in the encoded Imperial transmissions. That kind of secrecy is commendable in it's own right. Oh well, I do love how these predictable officers are so intent on visiting my little war zones. Now, one last shot and I'm off this planet, and I know who will have an empty ship with lots of data...

Destined to Hang (LucasLaughing) Hung Up on Commenor Commotion on Commenor Moonlit Takedown The Unfortunate Practice of Following Orders Race from Commenor It was always fun finding new friends in the ISB. This contingent on Commenor was especially appealing and would require more attention. They appear to be part of the Special Operations branch of the ISB and responsible for establishing Xenovet's current laboratories on Commenor. I'm still not sure what they're up to, but based on their treatment of Agent Kirana, they must have something off the books going on here. Commenor - Nightlife 1 by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr If I was going to find out anything more (the type of intel I couldn't get from mining their transmissions and data files), I was going to have to get past some of those oversized Deathtroopers. 13. The 11 Rebel and 11 Imperial covert operations against the Black Sun have been successfully completed. With an overall score of 104, the Empire was more successful at spreading it's assets across the galaxy and eliminating the criminal syndicate. At 83 points, the Rebellion did complete it's mission on all of it's planets, but two of the most successful teams were stationed on Sullust, so their highest scores were not distributed as efficiently. On Bothawui, WickNole led the attack with 18 points. MKJoshA provided backup with another 6 points. On Fondor, Zaael provided 16 points against the vigos while Green Rhubarb followed with 2 points. On Hoth, Forresto took the planet alone with 4 points. On Mon Calamari, Cody Startale took 13 points and Brickmasterben11 grabbed 3 points. On Ord Mantell, TTrooper snagged 6 points while MontyPyton took 3 points. On Sullust, Ninja Nin's 15 points was closely followed by Jannik's 14 points. The Rebel's total score was 11 participants + 18 + 16 + 4 + 13 + 6 + 15 = 83 On Bespin, Kodan Black executed 7 points with Thebeeze111 following at 5 points. On Commenor, Goatman461 got 19 points. On Hapes, Puvel shot 16 points and Mads Heering took 4. On Kuat, LucasLaughing single-handedly ran down 18 points. On Naboo, the field was covered with 16 points from Artizan, 7 points from Commander Beltar, and 4 points from Brickwolf. On Tatooine, Merc4Hire took 17 points and Tariq followed with 4 points. The Empire's total score was 11 participants + 7 + 19 + 16 + 18 + 16 +17 = 104 Congratulations to the Empire. Let us know below if you want the new tag (I would like one, please) and start discussing which Rebel planet you would like to take in the secret PM. Your choices are: Hoth Sullust Fondor Ord Mantell Felucia Mon Calamari Bothawui Thanks Lucas for coming up with the idea for this episode and letting me write it up. And thank you to everybody that posted builds or just enjoyed the forum. Enjoy your holidays and work on some Bounty Hunter builds and Freebuilds. We probably won't have another episode start until at least January, but we'll try to keep you posted.

  15. Thanks everybody. We displayed the whole MOC at BrickUniverse this weekend and won Best Sci-Fi (really only because Nannan Zhang wasn't there this time). There's lots of alleys to look down and it takes some patience to notice all of it. I'll probably piece this out into freebuilds so stay posted. 16. I was a little worried when I first saw your initial post with only the Imperial interior and then pleasantly surprised as it kept expanding, and expanding. Fantastic job with all of the angled buildings and platforms. The buildings look/feel very accurate and I like the natural posing on all of the rebels.
  17. I love this build. I really like the style you went with, not being afraid of white on Tatooine, lots of depth, great greebling, subtle/appropriate minifigs, etc., etc... I also like that you didn't push this to be a large MOC when you could have easily expanded the base to empty tan plates. At this size it feels tighter and more in-line with a busy street, and your excellent building shows up so much more.
  18. Thanks funny. I had forgotten about BEAVeRs build so I didn't get the reference.
  19. Cool ship. Interesting action shots and paneling
  20. Nice lighting effects. And I like the way the floor shows a high-tech Naboo, while the walls show the historical side, just like Ep. I
  21. Excellent use of color and terrain. The moc as a whole gives a great cold, damp feel
  22. What a playset! I like the details you got into the arches and rails. The ship is fantastic. Very well proportioned
  23. Nice capture of Naboo. Sorry we didn't get you on the PM to coordinate, we'll make sure we fix that for XIV.
  24. Superb use of color (as always). I'm a little confused by the flying chair, but the base is very cool and the arch is beautiful
  25. Excellent commitment to all white. All of the different shapes make the build very interesting and deep. I agree that a few more colors should probably be present, but this has a great 70s sci-fi-vibe that came out in Cloud City. Not to use your build to get off on a tangent, but I do find the yellow figs distracting, especially when the Ugnaught (and other SW aliens) is true to color.
