Have you been playing fallout? The tank drone is great and very much reminiscent of the Sentry-Bot with its wheeled tripod stance! Great build all round.

Good work Starstriker. The greebling on the dish is superb! I wasn't sure what a MANTIS advanced radar station should look like; but you completely nailed it! It's a shame this won't score as a weekly too...

I love that (ignoring the MANTIS command ship scenes) it's a shot for shot remake, right down to the placement of the flowers and bush on the base. Great build, especially as it pointed me at a great original from before I ventured into the Andromeda Galaxy.

Well, this was Pombe back when he used to wear clothes and wasn't quite a whale penetrating, reality distortion in his own right! I'm not sure I could properly replicate his humour even if I tried! I also wanted to have the distortion switch Pombe and Eshey's roles (i.e. Pombe as a trigger happy recruit), though clearly Pombe has some idea that things aren't quite as they should be.

Nice re-imagining. I love the different effect of each gun, especially the gloopy bits left behind by the first one. It does look like the space time distortion has given Octan a MANTIS DeathRayBlasterTM.

Very nice; true to the original but your changes work very well (everything always looks better in MANTIS colours!). I especially like the the two tone door and the use of trans plates in the wall gives some interesting detail.

Location: F09 - Arium Minor Tags: Spaceshsip Henry Moose Personal Log: Today I got to flight test our corporation's newest toy; the Hornet Class Gunship. On first inspection I couldn't help but shake the feeling that I'd seen her somewhere before, as if in a dream! The two giant particle cannons aren't exactly subtle, but should make even MANTIS fighter jocks think twice about tangling with us! The cockpit is reasonably spacious, though the field of view isn't great. Despite the lack of subtlety, she looks sleek. The technicians assure me that whilst the drive looks like a pair of re-purposed trash cans, they are in fact a precision engineered pulse-fusion thrust chambers... and it just so happens that the most efficient geometry is identical to that of a universal standard waste disposal cylinder. She flies reasonably well, though is far better suited to space than atmo. Four repulsors provide VTOL capability and the landing gear is semi-retractable, the nose gear even pivots forward to act as the targeting dish array! Still, this is much cooler than the survey ships I have been flying for Octan thus far; I almost feel like a MANTIS Badass when flying her! OOC Stuff:

I must say, dear Sir, that the envelope of your dirigible is of a most novel and eye-catching construction. Furthermore the mechanism of the pumping station intrigues me, I do wish I could see it in motion.

Thanks! Some of the Ultra Agents wave two sets, including the Ocean HQ, were pulled from the UK too; I got lucky and picked up the last one in the Philly Lego store whilst on a business trip. A shame really as the sets had some great techniques and sci fi parts!
