    So actually you have three buggies? A grey one, a yellow one and a white one? And is it posible to put for instance the yellow body on the chassis of the grey buggy?

    I just tested your current and I also tested it with instead of three 12 teeth gears, two and on each side a half bush gear. It still slips but way more force is required to make it slip, and I'm not sure if two Xl's have this power... You might give it a try.

    I think you'll need to redisign your gearbox a third time...

    Personally I don't like a light grey vehicle with dark bluish grey tracks and black front tires, but maybe I'll have to wait and see the final version of the model and change my opinion...

    Looks like great fun! I wish we had truck trial competitions in the Netherlands, but it seems to be dead.

    I have 8 grippy tires from Lego 7249, and 4 non-grippy from another set. I also noticed the difference but it doesn't bother me since I never use them...

    You can make it driving but not steering, beceause you have only one M motor right? Btw M's are not good for driving, and also not good for steering at high speed vehicles, you need an servo and one or two L motors i guess.
