  9. The TX is from RC Trains, the RX is a Deltang. it is all standard RC model train equipment. there is some tricky soldering involved as it is very very small soldering pads, but I did cut a PF wire and solder it on to the board

  11. I wanted to reach out to any AFOL train fans in the Austin TX area, We at TBRR are starting up a regular, monthly meeting in central Austin starting on August the 6th 2016. Any one who is in the area and is an AFOL and who has any kind of interest in Lego Trains, Mono Rail, scenery building, buildings, and anything else that has anything to do with Lego and Trains are very welcome.   17. This is a mains powered lighting system. No battery boxes. Thanks Chris, I am also working on a BR 9F , specifically the piston and valve rods. I will use Arduino for automation. I have EV3 doing it at the moment. I am processing how to get the lights on the mixer. I think I can only get it on the main 3 arms.

Hey Cale, Contact Shawn Kelly skelly@kcbricklab.org or Stuart Kahler from KC Bricklab, They have been running a permanent 9v display at Union station and I am sure would love to share the challenges they have encountered over the 4 years it has been there, with track cleaning, wheel wear and so on. Sounds like a GREAT opportunity though. Exciting that Lego trains are being embraced.
