Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Steph 104th replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
What sets has that hairpiece been used in? Or is in just in the game. -
Lego's trouble with a third wave is sales, it isn't like the Hobbit with a line of toys and action figures and a movie to back it up. The other thing is The Hobbit's story line is much less dark than the Lord of the Rings and it is more comical. The children buying theses sets most of them were not around or old enough when LotR came out as well, there is just a much smaller fan base.

Break it and should you one day regret it keep the instructions. I keep all my instructins in a drawer, when I last weighed it, it was 10kg's

Another odd combo is the skeleton skull under the cowl.

You have created a masterpiece. Stunning roofs, the bridges are great and the tree looks stunning.
-
Great MOC, worth all the time you found. The roof and floor look great.

@large 88 you say that is an old image, do you have more recent images, if it is not too much trouble.

Lovely work, the colours fit together perfectly, I think it looks better that the actual version.
-
Beautifully done, this would make a great set.

I am a fan of 79018 too, there are losts of gold pieces my only changes would be more dwarves (2 odd, Nori and another) and the price. Further than that we do get rock pieces and I think as much as we would like a shell of the mountain it is unrealistic in a play set.

Does LEGO ever publish designer credits?

There was a National Geographic Megafactories documentary a few years back it followed the old Police Station set, it spent quite a while with the designers and the people along the production line. I recommend it. -

There are many theories, Dick Grayson is one of them. As they are prelimanary images we are not sure if the stubble is just a 'stand in face'. Everyone has their own theory and no-one knows the real answer. -

There are multiple lists on the last 20 pages or so, just read back and your sure to find one. This is about the best list. -

Vision would be great as a minifigure. If Lego does use the dark red that is accurate to that image, I think it will be for the first time on a minifigure headpiece. -

Beautiful creations, they can rival the action figures. -
The Mines of Moria set had numerous great movie details too, I hope we get some hidden details in the Erebor set that are not clear until we get pictures of the segments of the set in greater quality.
-
Stunning, looks great from all perspectives.
-
This turned out marvelously, wonderful work.

Is there a chance Lego will display one of the other sets at New York Cominc-Con?

I agree, ice pieces for his hands would be much cooler than a freeze gun. -

He is not child friendly, but then again we got a Heath Ledger Joker, who made pencils disappear using goons skulls. -
