I was hoping for the halloween bucket in the recent minifigure series plus it doesnt seem to be represent much of the front of a house.

I am surprised that you didnt encounted the dreaded collapsing front hull as yet.

The point when you have enough Lego?
kermit replied to PaddyBricksplitter's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have had the the same feeling but mainly due to space. I have almost no space to display my sets which made me think about stop buying lego since i wont have space for new sets. The lego bug is still strong in me and no matter what i`ll still get more. -
Ohh well just means more money to go towards the ninjago temple set.

Marvel did make several offers to get back the fantastic 4 but fox refused to give/sell the rights back mainly because they not only have rights to the fantastic 4 main characters but also the villains and other side characters e.g. silver surfer........this is why they made the 1994 movie which was never shown just to keep the rights.....and due to the crappy cgi and rushed 3rd part of the movie i only suspect that fox realized that the deadline for the rights was near and decided to pull part of the budget and just finish the movie quickly so that they can hold onto the rights , hence their refusal to show the film to critics and the review embargo.

it appears to me that superman may be under some kind of mind control because you see him bowing to lex and soldiers with superman`s symbol on their jackets

I like that there is a big interior.

I know Lego did the best possible job that they could, but this batmobile looks just horrible. In fact it looks like a dune buggy.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
kermit replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Regarding this debate I have a solution. Why not make modular buildings devoid of interiors for the second and third floor except for the first floor which I think should have some interior since it focuses on what the building is about. for example the pet shop with the first floor having a pet store interior and the green grocer having a first floor with fridges and food items. Leaving the other two floor bare will save on pieces that can be used for the exterior. Then what about interior furniture you ask?......I think releasing a separate set together with the particular modular building will solve this problem. For example, look at the easter painting and valentine seasonal set for this year. I bought 10 of the easter sets to use as furniture in my own buildings and with a price range of just $9.99 its cheaper than going through bricklink. I even used the valentine set to furnish the first floor of my cafe corner. Therefore I think creating separate sets in the $9.99 price range together with a modular would be beneficial to lego because people will be willing to buy these small sets to complete their interiors. I was hoping for a summer seasonal set with maybe focus on outdoor furniture like lawn chairs and a pool to add to my buuildings or maybe a bedroom scene with a bed and draws etc. but i'll just have to keep hoping. -

How does the interior of the castle look? -
My initial reaction was ....omg is he really giving the middle finger......didnt realize that his hand was bend.

Yes but im sure all his subscribers already knows what going on when they visit his channel and all he has to do is let them know of the new channel and im sure he will get them back. As for the old videos i think given what happen it would be better starting out fresh to avoid any old videos being flagged.
-
If you channel gets taken down cant you just create a new one?

What company are these from?

Has anyone else experienced any problems with logging into lego online shop site today? I logged in and I dont see my vip points plus my cart which had items in it is empty. When I checked my order status to see the status of an order that was shipped it keeps telling me to enter my login info again.

Which set is the one you enjoyed building the most?
kermit replied to BlackVagrant's topic in Community
For me it has to be the pirates imperial flagship and the Parisian restaurant. -
Wonderful creation.

I have mix feelings on this set. First of all it is a beautiful and prefect set , but my major qualm concerns the size of the set. I was expecting something more in the scale of the mixer set from last year. I just think its too big.
-
I like how you were able to fit so much into such a small scale.
-
wow I didnt realize how big this was till the last few pics.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
kermit replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Given the time resources that goes into making a modular I dont think that the lego designers would have the necessary time available to devote to a 16 wide modular every 6 months. It could also lead to less effort being put into a 32 wide modular due to time constraints. In addition to this i think having too many modulars on the sale shelf at any one time could also lead to people getting tired of the modular buildings.
