  1. Too bad you weren't there the whole week... although, I ended up with food poisoning, so... But it was a very nice layout indeed.
  2. I haven't gone further with this idea due to lack of time. Timelapsing is the easiest with LDD. I know people using Povray and LDraw (bricksmith on mac) that can make real animations.
  3. we have also a stickershop (www.ministickers.nl), we are working on getting our 77xx in stock again. they are already cut etc.
  4. You could look at instructables.com.
  5. Well, it is not too hard, you just need to have a look at ohms law first so get some basics in electronics...
  6. I'm working on a system that works alongside PF and makes the train slow down and gain speed. Testing it tomorrow at LEGOWorld / Zwolle, NL.
  7. It is indeed a bit fuzzy. We reproduce lot's of LEGO stickers. LEGO policy is that they don't want us to use the LEGO logo, but they think it is fine to reproduce other stickers and they even refer to us.
  8. Hehe ;) not tried it yet with my iPad and/or iPhone, but that makes sense
  9. If I can help you with the Arduino stuff, feel free to ask... I am currently working on a feedback system with PF and Arduino. B.t.w. I use a LEGuanO arduino, it costs me around 7,50€ :)
  10. Nice work. Graves are a bit small for minifigs maybe but yet...
  11. Very, very nice! Keep up the LEGO building.
  12. The bricks with brick texture are remarkable! I don't think it is a sticker.
  13. it might be wiser to use a small microcontroller for that, NXT is too large and relatively not powerful enough
  14. exactly, it is custom track. must be quite a new picture since ME track is a recent development.
  15. Problem with it that it has limited switching possibilities: I mean, one might one to have two trains running in the same direction and not switch from the left to the right track and that is not possible without modifications. I have a bunch of them fortunately.
  16. The monorail indeed! Hope with better switches ;) http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/1104
  17. like it, man... you must be kidding, it is just great, or really sick, or I guess... both :)
  18. I would then really like to see the results posted here as well. Emotion is very difficult to research since it depends on the context.
  19. Brick or treat, hihi :) Nice find! Nice MOC too. What would we do without Minifigs huh ;)
  20. Well you did what I suggested you by giving the roof half a stud offset to each side.
  21. Well, adding some snot techniques, also building the train a bit off the baseplate etc. would improve your MOC. Maybe make the roof 10 x 6 and let it hang over 1/2 stud in the length side. I think the way you are using the bars is nice though.
  22. Well, scientists are not all sure that we will run out of fuel at all: http://www.rense.com...eral67/oils.htm http://creation.com/...t-always-fossil http://www.abovetops....php?tid=185401 etc. etc. etc. There are studies that show that fossil fuels can also be formed in not too many years.
  23. It looks very nice indeed! Very creative too! Maybe using a brown plant instead of green?!
  24. Well they could also do more with exclusive items like with the newest cargo train. So sell them online. I'm also allergic to other brands, especially since I've seen the bad quality although I like initiatives like brickforge. But in the computer industry you see the same thing, it is a good thing AMD is there for Intel to make sure they sat ahead (for a certain period most engineers agree that AMD was indeed some steps ahead of Intel (Celeron / Athlon era). Although at this moment it is a bit quit at the CPU market. Same thing with tablets, I like the iPad but also think that some good competition is very effective, otherwise Apple would just sit back and relax without coming up with even more fancy (I mean user-friendly) stuff.
  25. I of course agree to most of that. I also didn't say that LEGO will become cheaper because of those clones. But... LEGO still needs to do a good job to keep price/quality sharp enough to make sure parents will choose LEGO in favor of clones. In Holland LEGO has had a monopoly for a very long time until recently. B.t.w. the feet of the figures are also very LEGO like. I looked them up (unlike e.g. Sluban).
