Thanx! I guess a lot of these folks thought that their entries will authomatically find their ways in the Index or something ;) Besides, i don't like idea of my reviewing something that will get lost due to technicality ;) And i had a lot of them bookmarked, tho of course, annoyingly enough, i seem to have problems with those bookmarks now, cause some of those adresses changed their names ;)

Weird, so this one asked to be added to the Index, and You said it's already in there @Mister Phes ,but it's definitely not listed :/ I think You might have mixed it with that other similar island+raft+shark entry which made it to the list or some goblin sabotaged Your attempt to add links ;)

Your new photo and version in Your first post is nicer than the original in my oppinion, may i suggest switching it in the Index too? Those new baseplates are more appealing i guess, tho i might be wrong and it would be safer to go with all that bricked sea :)

Thanx, well, it's just that looking at the Index, i'd swear i've reviewed more of them, so they might be missing ;) And i'm still sure there was more entries than those that are linked ;) Anyway, i hope they will fing their way in before 28th, cause we wouldn't want votes lo reveal their verdicts without even realizing there's stuff they haven't seen ;)

If i could suggest something, the photo of Your hand made model is more attractive than Your rendered version, in my own oppinion, for some it may make no difference, but i believe it would look better in the Index of Entries, than the rendered pic visible there. If that could be changed of course, and if You'd like too ;)

So i'll try bringing my previous question to Your attentio then ;) What about afterwords for our favorite entries or for the entire category/entire contest? You said that our final thoughts in the post with votes will be important to assess our reviewing, if i understood it correctly, but You also wanted to keep those posts simple and clear to count all the votes... Like if i would like to drop few words about what i hoped to see in this contest and what we got, or about the struggle between modern and classic parts that we've observed, as well as the battle between factions of the Pirate Theme, who gained, who lost... would that be ok? Or should we just stick to the good old "i gave the 1st place to Mr X cause he's my fiance's neighbour's grandma's uncle's sister's wife's cousin, twice removed" explanation? ;)

Thanx, i actually like those original renders more :) Tho, new ones are probably more "prefessional" looking, even as it's lost a bit of its charm this way. I'd totaly say You should go with what Your heart tells You to do, rather than listen to all those brick-obsessed purist radicals ;) Anyway, good luck in the contest. Thanx, a free copy of each set i defended from being lost from the poll would be a nice gesture indeed ;) :P

thanx :) i feel that that new monstrosity of a ship in the index might have even more pieces, and it's there, so i guess no problems for this one ;) tho i migt be completely wrong in the piece count, it's just that this one looks smaller to me ;) Also that vessel which wasn't part of the set, but was used for the presentation of the shipyard, might have caused people to think it was much bigger...

I don't mind the fact that You've edited Your post of course, but I'd realy like to be able to look at those previous renders again :)

Very happy to see Your nice response and deep explanation. And as a matter of fact, i love trikorns too :) Tho, with designing anything it's sort of this compromises, weighing what we would love to do and what should do ;) I'm working on my own history-adventure project and have a tough time coming up with all sorts of various characters, and their headwear, clothing, weaponry, etc that i don't even like, but i have to think about them in order to create ariety and a bigger range of products :) And honestly, i'd just love to repeat only but a few best aspects in all those visual departments, that would probably work everywhere... but that would be against rules of compromises and providing variety ;) And yeah, i think Your skull offer this compromise in the way it's designed too, as it doesn't seem overcomplicated, it doesnt have as many details as some other that we've seen on remakes, it looks simple, but it doesnt change the fact that You've planned it extremely well, and it strikes your eyes immidiately, and making it sorta cartoonish was brilliants, as it probably wouldn't give such effect if it was more serious and more classic in form :)

Perfectly understandable :) I didn't even find time and room to build entries i've planned, so You did beat be on that field, as You've at least succeded in entering Your own :) And i guess a design should be more important than the presentation, if it was to be completely fair then we would probably have to hite a profesional photographer and artist who would use same rechniques for all of the contestants... but then again even at that point some people would proably complain that someone's pics didn;t get proper angles etc ;) Anyway, glad You'e like my thoughts, and i hope to see You other mocs soon... with a seagull or without ;) )

Yeah, i saw that too, but was sure that Master Phes will edit that when the discussion about voting will be done :)
