  1. [huttese] Hagwa peecha duba Bith! Yang chas Ponda Baba!! [/huttese]
  2. My Vaporator is in that book too It's a nice book, I really liked the instructions for the Colonial Viper of Battlestar Galactica
  3. http://brickset.com/minifigs/search/?query=yoda Again, Yoda would be nothing new. Yaddle would be new, or Minch, Oteg, or even Vandar Tokare. But not Yoda... Again; no remakes in this topics please... OK, I'll just build from scratch then. I always start my designs in Ldraw, when I'm finished I'll contact you, so you can rebuild them :-)
  4. I have those on my harddisk as part of my 'to do' list. do you have instructions of those my any chance?
  5. Dude, seriously?
  6. A Sandcrawler has been made, this would then be a remake. Yes, but a TIE-Fighter would still be a remake. We wouldn't discuss that here. Come on people: There's a great topic already to discuss remakes, variations, and the possible release or non-release of the UCS Sandcrawler...
  7. Yes, but then again sopmeone might say that the last twin-pod-cloudcar was a half-hearted attempt. And they would be right. It would still be a remake...
  8. What did it say in the first post? No remakes. You're talking about a remake?? Those would be remakes. Didn't you read the first post? Sorry, but again, those would be remakes. And we decided not to discuss remakes here. Remakes / wishes etc. are all for the 'future Star Wars sets' topic. This topic is just about what is still missing. And what is really missing, is that you three missed the point of this topic. Or can't read. Or just don't care. Pity... Those would all three be remakes...
  9. In this topic: Would it hurt you if the Star Wars franchise would stop right now? many gave as feedback that they are on the verge of stopping with collecting Star Wars LEGO sets as LEGO is currently more looking at relaunches of existing sets, rather than coming up with new vehicles. So hence the question: what should LEGO create what hasn't been made yet? This is a different question than the Future Star Wars Sets forum, as in that one there are a lot of requests for remakes and improvements of existing sets, whereas this ought to be all about one thing: what is missing? Would be nice if you could add an image of the 'original' vehicle and explain from what movie / carton / videogame it comes from. I suggest only new vehicles are added, and not to have repetition. I'll also agendize for the start of each year to see whether LEGO has created one of these missing sets :-) Long time ago I made a longlist with 'to-do' sets for TLG, and oddly enough, it's mostly done by LEGO these days. What I still miss is the following though: Episode I - Gian speeder Episode II - Risksja Speeder Episode III - UT-AT Episode IV - Outrider Episode IV - bantha And that's it, really... I'm not a very needy person it seems ;-) I look forward to seeing your additions to this list!
  10. Let me open a new topic for that :-)
  11. Good remark; Prune Face could indeed be an option... Then again Ten Numb is also white / tan, and flies a B-wing...
  12. @CopMike: don't forget to add your own address, so we can send something back
  13. Thanks for the feedback everyone :-) Many would stick to LEGO, and not switch to collecting other Star Wars related merchandise, which ought to please TLG for sure ;-)
  14. What if... Tomorrow LEGO would decide to stop with Star Wars alltogether; would you find this a big problem? In the last 15 years LEGO has introduced sets of most of the characters, most of the vehicles and even some animals of all the movies, introduced even more any could have hoped for at the start of the license. Nowadays there are even more re-runs than new vehicles... In the last 10 years LEGO introduced a very impressive lineup of parts, enabling builders to build MOCs bigger, better, with better SNOT techniques, more rounded shapes; if you look at the 1999 sets compare them with the current versions, you will know what I mean. And with kaminoan, arealight and other customizers who come up with great custom decals and parts the sheer 'need' for specific minifig parts from the LEGO themselves has become less. With 3D printing coming up this might become even less! So I ask you, fellow Eurobrickers, what you would feel if LEGO would decide to pull the plug on the Star Wars license. Would you stop caring? Build everything from upcoming movies yourselves? Start collecting other LEGO licenses? Or even move to other areas of the Star Wars franchise, like action figures? Above all, this discussion is NOT about whether LEGO would do this or not. But let's face it, that day WILL come eventually, and it would be nice to know how you would (re)act... For myself, I think I would continue with building MOCs, maybe even intensify building them knowing that what I build myself this year, will not be introduced by LEGO at 1/3 price by next year ;-) I think that nowadays there are enough minifigs and parts to build the entire Star Wars universe, and the sheer 'necessity' of buying Star Wars has gone away a bit... I few years I would have been guttered if LEGO would stop, but these days? It wouldn't be the end of the world, and certainly not the end of my hobby!
  15. Complments on the GH-7 medical droid !
  16. Wise lesson from that site: don't throw away your forum until you have integrated it into your new one! Used to be there all the time, even co-funded the forum back when you had to pay (!) to keep a forum running...
  17. Well, the following would be nice, as they exist in the Kenner / Hasbro line-up: Allthough I'm one of those people who spent a fortune on getting a red vader helmet, and would not want to see it depreciate ;-) And then naturally the classic combo of R2 & C3PO:
  18. I totally missed the opportunity to have my 4483 signed when Irvin Kershner was in Holland at a fan day. I don't regret a lot in my life, but this was one of them. congratulations on your possession :-)
  19. I would want instructions too, yes :-)
  20. Wow, I'm a bit speechless on the amount of prices there are; I thought you just had one minifig to be handed out per day...
  21. Luckily I was an early bird, and didn't need to pay as much for one. It's still the most expensive single LEGO part I ever bought, tough
  22. My wife's first MOC in 25+ years: Hope you like it :-)
  23. Errr... 10 years ago LEGO sold an ISD at € 330, and it sold out. 5 years later they sold a Mil; Falcon at € 550, and it sold out. I'm sure a € 750 AT-AT in 2014 would sell too :-)
  24. I think it's not unreal if wave II 2014 will be based on Ep III as well. I won't like it, but I reckon we can see another turbo tank coming. I just hope there'll be an UT-AT in the wave. I know LEGO made a prototype for it, next year would be the last chance for a long while to have it launched (I take it next waves will be all ep VII & SW Rebels)...
