When? The incident was in Quest 77, when Lord Duvors said he was going to throw a Smoke Bomb as the party was about to win a battle. I don't think any ruling ever came from Sandy other than that "If you do that, you'll probably never get chosen for a quest again."I definitely don't think that Party Leader actions should ever override other PC's actions. Your fellow party members are your teammates, not your minions. This is an RPG, not a strategy game. Even in real life, a commander can give soldiers orders, and the soldiers still have a choice whether or not to follow them. And just like in real life, if the soldier doesn't obey, then there can be consequences (perhaps not as severe, but you get my point). We're all humans running this game, and we can make rational case-by-case decisions on how to deal with trolling; we don't always need to have rules that limit other players in order to minimize the opportunity for trolling.

That sounds kind of familiar to me. Was this idea used in a storyline between two of the OT movies? My first thought is that it might've been in Shadows of the Empire or in the beginning of the Jedi radio dramatization. I'm pretty sure the former and I know the latter included the more common bit of storyline in which Luke returns to Obi-Wan's hut to build his new lightsaber, but in addition to that, I remember reading/hearing at some point of Luke's returning to find some answer that Obi-Wan might've left behind as to what he should do with his mentor dead. On the other hand, that particular concept seems like it would make more sense set between Star Wars and Empire...I'm trying to review all the books I've read in my head right now... MegaBloks, I can't believe that that skipped my mind.

I don't think the appearance of Tatooine is enough to say that much about the movie so far; the planet did, after all, appear in all six OT and PT movies (and in the CW movie) and it seems like a natural inclusion to tie things together. Agreed. I hope Episode VII doesn't stray over the line into Star Trek: Into Darkness territory, where instead of being a case of "We adhered to the conventions you'd expect from seeing the older movies," it becomes a case of "We wanted to throw your fanboys some bones while we kind of ignored what had already been done before."
