  1. The sirens did affect Docken (on the grounds that he was a male character).
  2. Do you see the problem there?
  3. A big map with lots of features that aren't very interesting is just a setting for a rather boring battle that takes longer than it should when the majority of the combatants have to walk or run from place to place.
  4. I attack Rainbow Frog E from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. If I have an Aura, then I attack Rainbow Frog F from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. If I do not have an Aura, then I use a Health Core on Namyrra from the Back Row. Order of Actions: Undead Bartholomew Docken Bartholomew Docken Johon Johon Namyrra Uq Namyrra Uq
  5. OoC: Bricksandparts, Quarry already said that he'd take out Frog A. Additionally, if you attack Crab B, then you're going to take more Damage from Free Hits, and, like I said, you need to act from the Back Row so there's a good chance of your surviving the Round.
  6. OoC: Undead don't prevent Free Hits, right? "Master Johon, if you don't mind, I suggest you use a Nostrum on Miss Uq with one of your actions, since she's attacking the Phoenix. Stay in the Back Row this time when you attack; that should allow you to survive a Round before needing to be healed. I'll have you act second so you'll take one of the harmless Free Hits." "Miss Uq, I assume you'll take out the two non-Blinded Angry Crabs, so I'll attack two of the frogs. Their Special won't really do anything too harmful to me, anyways." I attack Rainbow Frog B and Rainbow Frog C from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. Order of Actions: Undead Bartholomew Docken Johon Bartholomew Docken Johon Namyrra Uq Namyrra Uq
  7. Quest 17 and Quest 31 definitely have more interesting mechanics and eye candy than Quest 4 does. And Quest 31 actually has something of a more developed plot. (Thanks JimB and Zeph. )
  8. I actually thought Endor was rather boring. The treehouses aren't as much of an extra dimension as they are mediocre hideouts or sniping positions, it's really hard to see through the foliage even after you turn on the red indicators above the enemies, the Ewoks are annoying, and the AT-STs don't dominate enough and can't get around enough to make them fun.
  9. Pie used the Uruks as a race, though I forget what it's called. I used one in Quest 77, though, so I know they were established before then. Update: Found the PM. They're from the Babeleth Darklands, as yet unnamed. The White Hand variants are a symbol of a higher caste. In Quest 77, one of them spoke Klingon.
  10. Oddly enough, while I'm an OT fan, I wouldn't be that happy if PT locations and factions were excluded. They were still fun to play, even if I don't really like their source. And I agree that most of the more fun and intriguing Battlefront II locations were PT locations, even if some of them weren't very well balanced (Looking at you, Kamino.). That being said, if they have to cut it down to just OT grunts to make a better shooter, I'm not going to complain. (Although being an OT fan, I'm sure it upsets me less than it would some other fans.) They can always release new features and factions as DLC later.
  11. MegaBlokin' MegaBloks! I love everything about this video. The use of studio models for reference, the on-location filming for reference, the amazing in-game graphics (Although they look more like pre-rendered cut scenes than gameplay footage to me — either that, or I'm just too used to sub-par graphics.), the way the devs describe themselves, the use of what sounds like the Empire soundtrack and nothing but OT scenes for the trailer... I know it's not a lot so far, but what we've got is all exactly how I'd want it done if I was the guy in charge of developing this game. I get the sense that this might be a next-gen console release, but hopefully it'll still be available for PC, and my fingers are crossed for a Mac release (and hopefully Aspyr won't mess up the port).
  12. Regarding the maps, I'm with Bricksandparts in that I prefer the non-colored or very subtly-colored map, though for a different reason. I don't really think the colored maps make it look like things are too explored, but I think they're a little harder to read, and I like the somewhat more authentic look of the Photoshopped parchment background.
  13. "Master Johon, since you're Lucky, I think it's less likely that you'll need the benefit of a potential Aura, and the first five spots in the Order are all going to take the same number of Free Hits, so I'll have you go first in case you Encourage us." Order of Actions: Magic Carp A, Magic Carp B, Aquaphant, Gloom Widow A, Tangleweed A, and Nutterfly A Gloom Widow B, Tangleweed B, Tangleweed C, Tangleweed E, and Death's Rose A Johon Johon Bartholomew Docken Bartholomew Docken Namyrra Uq Namyrra Uq
  14. I attack Angry Crab A and then Angry Crab B from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. "I'll wait for you to decide how to use your undead, Miss Uq, before setting our order."
  15. "Ah, thank you." I use a Smelling Salts. "Master Johon, are you going to use Smelling Salts?"
  16. "The loot at the Forsaken Mine looks less useful, and our other option is the Firefly Mire, which I remember doesn't have much loot, either. So, I'm fine with returning to Rainbow Falls. Should we do it without On The Clock this time? "Unfortunately, I have no buffing consumables, so I'll need some assistance there. I'm happy to trade something small for them, though."
  17. I throw a Smoke Bomb from the Back Row. "So are we planning to use consumables and then come back, or should we clear out some of the medium-difficulty areas instead?"
  18. OoC: My bad. I thought I'd already posted something. "I'd prefer to use a Smoke Bomb. Miss Uq already has several high-Level undead, so even though raising some of the enemies here would be nice, I don't think we need them too badly. The loot here isn't that special, and we have plenty of Smoke Bombs."
  19. Saw this today. The Falcon looks good so far from what can be seen. I hope the reason that that McQuarrie X-wing (Successor to the OT T-65? We know from the now non-canon EU that the X-wing continued to evolve throughout the books, and I'm not going to complain if they use the McQuarrie design for that.) has such a short nose is because they have yet to add the sensor bulge at the tip.
  20. "Yeah, I doubt any of us really has a use for the Aqua Gear." I hand 8 Water Bombs, 1 Health Core, 2 Ether Cores, and 1 Aquamarine to Namyrra, I hand 8 Water Bombs, 1 Health Core, and 1 Aquamarine to Johon, and I keep 8 Water Bombs, 3 Health Cores, and the Aqua Gear for myself. I lead the party to the Sanctuary. Once we have all Rested, I lead the party to the Rainbow Falls, using the On the Clock challenge.
  21. - Look at my Post Count! [ No! Do not look at my post count. dontlookatmypostcountdontlookatmypostcountdontlookatmypostcount From Kalle.]
  22. OoC: Bricksandparts, it's the end of the battle; it shouldn't be a problem if you just pick any enemy. I attack Tangleweed D from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. Order of Actions: Namyrra Uq Undead, if any Johon Bartholomew Docken
  23. I attack Tangleweed D from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. Order of Actions: Magic Carp A and Magic Carp B Bartholomew Docken Johon Namyrra Uq Namyrra Uq
