This is not a joke; adding a 'tongue' emoticon to a dismissive response doesn't suddenly fix things. Speaking as a moderator, not as a Heroica player, there is no need for you to be discourteous to other members when they're just trying to explain something to you. I'm just trying to give you a good reason to change your style of posting instead of telling the members giving you advice to shut up. In any case, you did blame other members for annoying you and not saying, 'please,' which you say is the reason you won't consider changing the way you post.

There's no need to be rude to people who are just trying to explain something that's been the standard convention for years. If other members aren't understanding you because you're ignoring the standard method even though you're fully capable of conforming to it, then that's your fault, not theirs. The basic idea of having spoken words in quotes, thoughts in italics, and out-of-character comments in grey has been used in Heroica for years. If you immigrate to a country, and you're able to speak its most common or official language fluently, but you still choose to speak in some other language anyways, then it's not the fault of the existing citizens if they can't understand you.

OoC: Haha, that's awesome. Good job, Quarry. "I'll try to re-Blind Gloom Widow A and also take advantage of its Fragile state. It's not as if I have any meaningful offensive power to be Weakened, anyways." I attack Gloom Widow A from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. I just tested it*, and it still works for me, so maybe it is just your Internet. *Wow, Brickshelf is really slow. I don't remember it being that slow, but I haven't used it in over a year.

It looks like your permissions weren't changed, or they were reverted back to the default sometime later. They should be properly set up now. Can you see this forum? -

OoC: Gloom Widow A should be Blinded. I attack the Aquaphant from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. "Master Johon, take Gloom Widow A. It's Blinded, but if it's left to get a Free Hit, it'll only decrease the Damage dealt to me and increase the Damage dealt to you." Order of Actions: Bloody Bug A Death's Rose A Mutterfly A Splatterfly A Bartholomew Docken Johon Namyrra Uq -
You can upload multiple files to Brickshelf by compressing them in a ZIP folder and uploading that. Brickshelf will automatically unpack them into the folder you're uploading to.

"Shift+/" is even funnier; if someone set it to that, he wouldn't have been able to type question marks.

Open System Preferences; click "Dictation and Speech"; click the tab "Text to Speech". Is the option, "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" checked, and, if so, what is the key combination set to? There's a button there to change the key. I can't imagine why someone would change it to "Shift+-" (The default on my computer appears to be "Option+Esc", and it's kind of amusing that OS X lets you change it to a combination that actually types a character.), but I just tried it, and it works for me. (And if you're typing in a text field, you don't have to select any text; it just starts reading what's been typed.)

I can only speak for myself, but at this point, I honestly could not care less what Disney says about what is or isn't canon. Between the Disney overhaul and the TCW series, enough has been thrown out and overridden that I've stopped caring about whether or not what I want to believe happened in the Star Wars universe is what officially happened in the Star Wars universe. Once they made just about everything non-canon, canonicity stopped seeming important to me. Maybe in ten years the universe will have been re-developed and maybe I'll like it enough to recognize two different storylines in my personal canon, but for now...no, I can't say that I care.

OoC: JimB, I swapped the Cobweb Cowl out for the Counterstrike Gloves when we left the Sanctuary. "All right." I attack Gloom Widow A from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. I get your point; I agree. I just wanted to clarify that Battlefront doesn't really have any features other than the licensed storyline which make it great. If you pull just the storyline out of all games, then you remove all the elements that make Battlefront great, but you don't necessarily remove all the elements that make another shooter great. So, yes, you demerit Battlefront by removing that one specific element that makes it great, but in doing so, you demerit it more compared to other games.

Officially, it's usually August. Some stores may have them in mid- to late July.
