  1. Mage. Sorry.Repair of all nearby siege engines.
  2. I think they'll still be unlocked at least partly with Level. It'd be unrealistic for a Wizard to become a Necromancer at Level 5 just because he completed a quest for someone.
  3. He was supposed to be working on another Star Wars book, too. Judgment of Proteus (Quadrail book 5) comes out this summer, though, so that should satisfy me for a few months. Yes! I love that theory. It makes so much sense. As if his father didn't do the same thing. Yeah, the older stuff is better. Allegiance is recent but was pretty good. Specter of the Past, Vision of the Future, and Survivor's Quest were all quite good, and Outbound Flight is one of the only CW-era novels I enjoyed. Kevin J. Anderson's and Michael Reaves and Steve Perry's books are pretty good, too, I think. (though the latter two tend to go for the darker, dirtier side of romance - not really my thing)My main grip with Choices of One was that I thought a lot of the characters who aren't supposed to meet until Heir to the Empire get a little too close to each other. It was interesting seeing Mara being an exponentially better Force-user than Luke, though.
  4. GM Note:One at a time, one at a time. We want to avoid automatically played rounds and multiple battles going at the same time to slow down the pace at which battles take place. The Arena is meant to be a fun minigame on the side that doesn't have any significant rewards. Allowing multiple battles to happen at the same time and playing rounds automatically increases the chances that a more experienced player can rapidly beat up on a bunch of weaker players and get loot too fast without doing a lot of work.
  5. I think I read through Western Mafia a couple months ago. I remember thinking that every new player should read it just to see what would happen when they looked for clues anywhere other than behavior.
  6. That's what Choices of One is for. (great book, by the way; not as good as the Thrawn Trilogy, in my opinion, but better than the Fate of the Jedi stuff coming out)

  8. Arasmyth, you cook up Arthur's concoction and fill a cup with the pinkish liquid. Hurricane - This exotic drink grants the Hilariously and Luckily Drunk effect, doubling the power of every attack, provided the consumer can state a pun related to his attack with every attack. QM Note: I have no idea where you got ice cubes from, but it looked better that way. "Sirs, Sir Lawrence has requested that you report to the gatehouse immediately." "Ah, here they are! Heroes, these are two members of Sir Leonard's staff: Luke, his personal cleric with knowledge of the arcane and the divine who, ironically, is an elf, and Count Lewis Knyghton, his chief engineer and Siege Master." "Sir Leonard is most impressed with the progress you've made defending this fort, especially the inventive machines you've built. I can help you with that. Let me show you some tweaks you could make..." Arthur Justus Regulus VII (Flipz) and Alexandre le Chevalier (Capt.JohnPaul) have each gained a Level of XP for their work constructing defenses! "I don't see how anyone can be as excited as Count Knyghton is just to be in the middle of a war zone, but Sir Leonard has ordered me to assist you. Evidently, warriors such as yourself with a knack for getting beaten and bruised will require my services." Luke and Count Knyghton have joined the party! (example statement of action: "Hiyaaaaaa Hwacha targets enemies in front of the East Wall") Explosive arrows have a 50% chance per target of exploding violently and imparting a Burning effect, causing the target to lose 2 Health per Round until the fire is extinguished. Note: The Hiyaaaaaa Hwacha must take a Turn after each attack to reload - this need can be eliminated by assigning a second Operator to the weapon. Spag Bitterstalk, Level 4 Barbarian (Kenghis Ghan) Power: 7 Health: 11/11 Gold: 5 Inventory: Crude Splinterwood Club (WP: 3), Standard-Issue Halberd (WP: 1;Total Damage doubled against mounted enemies and enemies scaling walls, Potions (2), Mead Slice N Dice Blockade Operated by Spag Level: 5/10 Health: 15/15 Ammunition: Sharpened wood Note: The Slice N Dice Blockade starts at Level 1, and gains 1 Level for every Turn a hero operates it, with a maximum possible Level of 10. If possible, the Blockade loses a Level for every Turn no one operates it. The Slice N Dice Blockade cannot move, and can only melee attack. QM Note: Wow, this party is getting big. You will need these two's talents later, though, I promise you. Luke has a very low WP because I want to emphasize that his primary use is as a healer. He's a Sage to give you a little more versatility in case you need him to attack, but he can't attack very well. The Pacifist effect will only allow him to attack with WP, not Level. (the same way heroes attack in the Arena) This effect does not affect healing. The effect is permanent. The Engineer functions the same way a Cleric does, except he can 'heal' (repair) nearby siege engines instead of other heroes. These characters may not operate siege engines.
  9. Does Alchemist grant you infinite Gold?
  10. I usually build from something with source material, so if the 'real' thing uses chrome, I like to use chrome if possible. That being said, I've only encountered one model so far that needed it from Star Wars (the T-16 Skyhopper), so it's not that big a deal if I can't use chrome. The only other major use for it for me is chrome lightsabers (never could get used to the pearl silver ones) or gold chrome elements like coins and crowns. If TLG can give me more of other useful parts, then I'd rather they leave the chrome out, however, in my opinion, none of the metallic plastic colors are or ever will be even close to a replacement for chrome where aesthetics are concerned. I hate stickers, so I wouldn't really want chrome stickers/decals, either.
  11. Sandy never gave a definite answer as to when the Expert Classes would be unlocked. We do know that Sandy decided not to make one of the Advanced Classes a Necromancer, since she said she'd prefer to save that class for the Expert Classes. I know there are also some people (myself included) who want one of the Advanced Classes to be a Bard. Other than that, we don't really know much.
  12. I'm not sure how accurate the model is, but you could download the LXF from the official sets in LDD topic, delete all the pieces except those of the walker, and use Superkalle's LDD Manager to get a list of the bricks used in the resulting file of the AT-ST.
  13. This is awesome just because of its sheer ridiculousness. Nice find.
  14. Excellent work, Mood. My favorite part is all those slopes around the middle area of the STAP. So many angles, and all of them shape the vehicle perfectly.
  15. Incredible work, Morten. The bantha looks great, and the landspeeder train is very well integrated. You've done a great job of compacting a bunch of iconic scenes into this (relatively, compared to other Tatooine dioramas) smaller diorama.
  16. That's an incredible rendition of the mynock. The details of the 'set' are fantastic, too. My only gripe would be that the figures look a little strange with yellow hands and white faces.
  17. Personally, I can't stand how straight his ears are and how spiky his hair is.
  18. By the time of the six movies, 'Darth' is a title applied to all Sith, not just masters. Seeing as there are only two Sith at a time, they would simply be master and apprentice, no other fancy titles involved. (at least 'officially'; there are plenty of secret apprentices) Obviously, Palpatine is the master and Maul, Dooku, and Vader are all apprentices. (though both Dooku and Vader were referred to as 'Lord' by Palpatine, suggesting that they had progressed beyond the stage of apprentice, but remained weaker than Palpatine) Moving into the EU, 'Master' is a title taken by a Sith who has an apprentice. 'Lord' isn't a very specific title, though it is essentially the title of a more powerful Sith. (one that is not an apprentice; this makes sense, as on earth, 'Lord' is a term that can refer to a number of noble ranks - count, duke, baron, etc.) 'Apprentice' is a self-explanatory title, that of a Sith who has begun serious training under a Master. 'Acolyte' was a title used for apprentices prior to Darth Bane's reformation. (after the Rule of Two was established, it wasn't needed, as there were only two Sith, the master and the apprentice) The title of Acolyte seems to be interchangeable with the title, 'Adept'. The closest thing there is to a consistent Sith equivalent of the Jedi ranks would be the ranks of the Lost Tribe of the Sith: Tyro (youngling), Apprentice (Padawan), Saber (Knight), Master/Lord (Master), and High Lord (Grand Master).
  19. I'm probably biased, being an OT fan, but the Snowtroopers are easily the best minifigs of those four BPs, in my opinion. Personally, I've never really liked the Ninjago vehicles, so I'd go with the Catwoman set. I think that's a matter of personal preference, though; I simply don't like jet fighters and cranes made out of bones and bright colors controlled by ninjas. Doesn't make much sense to me.
  20. I'm not really surprised at that. 3D usually doesn't turn out well during conversions, just because it's all faked instead of filmed with separate cameras. I expect Clones and Sith will be better, though, if not only because they use so much more CGI. (which, of course, already exists as a 3D file) Me, I don't plan to see any of them. I'll just go see Star Wars and Empire just because they're my favorite, and then stick to my DVD copy of the original theatrical releases.
  21. Ah. Oh, and Lord Normorn came from using letters of 'Not Shadows' in a D&D name generator, since Normorn is in intelligence, a similar function to the Shadow Admins.
  22. On that note, I did name a couple NPCs after Staff members (basically I used a list of medieval names and went for alliteration with Staff names). Commodore Martin Largus is named after Hinck. (his real name, not his screen name) Isaac Shawe was derived from ImperialShadows. I remember there was a knight guy in Quest 4 who was named after Fangy, but I don't remember where he was. (don't know if that's the same guy you're referring to, JimB)
  23. Isla Paradisa ran at the same time as The Forest, too.I'm looking forward to your game, def. I need to redeem myself after Bloodbrick II.
  24. If she never really tried in the first place. She already acted like she'd given up a while ago:
