  1. Fair enough. My thought is that they're both going to die anyways, so we might as well take the path that prevents an action from being used, but either should work, really. (provided the blocker doesn't know who the vig is)
  2. Can I get it mailed to my apartment in Eubric? OoC: Sandy, is it two days until we need to leave Salmanda, or two days until we need to be back in Eubric? Or does it take less than a day to get back?
  3. Out of curiosity, how much would it cost to acquire a chunk of mythril?
  4. Even if we knew it was true, it would still be safer to vote out Minoru and have the vig take out Isamu. (and, if we have one, maybe have a Watcher target Isamu in case he's protected)
  5. I Vote: Minoru (VolcanicPanik).
  6. Works fine for me.Though I do notice that on iOS, the second multiquote button I click will function as a reply button, not multiquote, but on my computer, Multiquote works the normal way on locked topics.
  7. Other Blockers, Protectors, Bullet-proof targets, conversion, targets leaving town...just to name some possibilities off the top of my head.
  8. QM Note: Sorry for automatically playing your action again, Dharkan. You really don't have anything to do other than follow Flipz. Next battle, I'm making the trebuchet require only one operator, so you can get in on some action. Also, I just realized that, for one reason or another, I forgot about Rows and took 9 Health off of Althior from the Free Hit, instead of 4. Fixed that. Same for Alexandre. Also, Horses are getting a nerf at the end of the Quest. Spag, you diligently continue to work the Slice N Dice, but, somehow, all the nearby elves manage to avoid its whirling blades. Arasmyth, you drunkenly stagger about and luckily fire a Spell at Onager B, dealing 56 Lightning Elemental Damage and destroying it. Seeing this, Althior, you quickly switch targets and catch Elite A with a Great Spell in the side, dealing 45 Lightning Elemental Damage. Arthur and Isabella, with enemy fire raining down upon the trebuchet, you dive for cover in a lower level. Alexandre, you take careful Aim at Archer B, and deal 1 Damage. Luke, you reluctantly fire a Spell at Assassin B, dealing 1 Light Elemental Damage. William, you catch Warlock C off-guard, and you fire an arrow into his arm for 19 Fire Elemental Damage. Count Lewis, you head towards the trebuchet to try to repair it. Amidst the chaos, Warlock B surprises you, Xander, from the back and deals 10 Wood Elemental Damage to you. Elite B not only avoids the blades of the Slice N Dice, but you can only watch as he causes 8 Damage to it. Elite C creeps up behind you, Arasmyth, and in your drunken state you are helpless as he causes 3 Damage. Elite D spooks your horse, Althior, and you take 3 Damage. "Sir, with Onager B destroyed, Engineers A and B, as well as Pike-elf B and Scout B, have begun to cross the Bridge Launcher, and they will finish crossing after the next Round. 9. Actually, if that list is in order, Minoru is at the seventh spot - right in the middle where Scum like to be. Not early, because they don't want to draw attention by accusing people, and not late, because everyone suspects late voters. Well, obviously. What else could you possibly mean by 'choose alignment'? My point stands: if a person can choose his side, it becomes much harder to balance the sides and much easier for the situation to be unfair to one side. And we know you can't kill anyone. (or at least claim not to) You claimed Blocker, remember? If you're Scum, you don't need a killing action to kill. You have Scummy teammates for that.By the way, perhaps I'm reading too much into what could be a case of poor grammar, but what do you mean by, "I don't want to kill all you loyalists"? That sentence implies that you are not a part of the group of loyalists. (by which I assume you mean Townies) If you were a Townie, you would've said, "I don't want to kill all you other loyalists" or "I don't want to kill all you fellow loyalists".
  10. What? I'm not sure if that even makes sense. It's very hard for god to balance situations like this, and I can't imagine that the situation becomes any fairer or that balance becomes any easier if a person gets to choose his alignment.
  11. Happy birthday, Athos and Holodoc! Nice to see DarkFang doing something other than prize fulfillment services, too.
  12. That statement was actually mostly directed at Lizzy. She apparently thinks that the kill was the work of an SK or overzealous vig, when, as Norio has already stated, it was a planned vig kill.
  13. Have you guys been listening?
  14. Okay, it's very wrinkled and I don't have a scanner, but I found it! It's a comic called "Prehistoric Creatures vs. Team Titan XP", and it covers City, Creator, KK2, Star Wars, and Alpha Team: Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Page 4 Page 5 Page 6 Page 7 Page 8
  15. If I remember correctly, it was a crossover comic of a number of themes at that time. I might still have that magazine. Let me see if I can find it...
  16. The Showcased MOCs of February 2012 are here! Firstly, Naboo Starfighter Bay, an example of the modular Star Wars concept from ACPin Secondly, Battle Droids and STAP (Moodland-scale), an excellent piece of shaping and articulation by Moodswim And, finally, ANH Deleted Scene, a small shelf display by Praiter Yed that has an incredibly cute purist custom Treadwell droid and a beautifully detailed moisture vaporator. (I also think it's one of my best works in Photoshop )
  17. Awesome. Is Vader's cape weighted down, somehow? It seems...straighter than usual. I have a new desktop background.
  18. No, it's not. It's actually probably one of the easiest ways to get into a Townie circle. Very risky, if you claim a role that can be verified through other actions (or if you make a really bad claim, like Nancy the pet Psychiatrist snake) or if you're investigated, (unless you're the Godfather) but it can be done. (I hate to metagame, but in a book called Gotham City Mafia, a Scum character a lot like myself was trusted by the Town for the majority of the game because he claimed Investigator to a Townie in private on Day 2) Blocker, of course, isn't as easy to fake as, say Watcher, Tracker, or Investigator, but claiming it is still not that stupid and not at all pointless.
  19. Thanks for going back and restating those, Shizuko. Saves me the trouble of doing it myself. It appears that my note was based on the first and fifth statements. Though in the first post, he apparently thinks that I'm "so sure" Yasu is Scum, and I'd never said anything like that. (that was before Yasu had said anything) And he didn't seem to understand why I was accusing Yasu in the first place. I hope I'm not connecting the wrong dots, but that's the same original defense Yasu put up. Perhaps Yasu didn't know what to say and decided to repeat what had been said recently in her defense by a fellow Scum? (I know that first post and Yasu's first post weren't that far apart, because I remember I was annoyed at having to explain the reason I suspected Yasu in two consecutive posts)
  20. I'm using Random.org. Unless you think Endgame hacked it. I'm pretty sure the Quest 4 heroes did that at the beginning of the Quest.
  21. I can't say Minoru has done anything to make me think he isn't Scum. Hasn't done anything really to look like Scum, but hasn't done anything to look like Town, either. I'll have to go review Day 1, but what I have from my notes is that he seemed not to understand things, which can be easily faked as Scum to look like a new and inexperienced Townie.
  22. Like I said, I doubt Tadao's killer was Scum only because I don't think the Scum would kill off someone claiming Townie Blocker. They knew Tadao was probably telling the truth, since they already knew Yesterday that he wasn't on their side. They knew that two Blockers had claimed, and that the Town thought one of them had to be Scum. They must have known that killing Tadao would have made it clear that the other claimed Blocker was probably Scum.
  23. Results of Round Three of Sorrow vs. Durkon: >Durkon vs. Sorrow - Special Damage Sorrow vs. Durkon - Hit Durkon, you try to finish off Sorrow, but, before you can, he drives his scythe into your side for 4 Damage, and you collapse. SORROW IS VICTORIOUS! Both combatants do not gain XP and have their Health and Ether fully restored. Consumed items are not replaced, so update your signatures accordingly. Combatants: Sorrow, Level 1 Rogue (played by Endgame) Power: 4 Health: 7/7 Gold: 10 Inventory: Scythe (WP: 3), Potion, Venom Durkon, Level 1 Mage (played by RPGer) Power:4 Health: 5/5 Ether: 5/5 Gold: 0 Inventory: Staff (WP: 3), Potion (2), Topaz (Lightning), Bedroll GM Note: Could one of the other GMs get Briksandparts' and Jedi master Brick's battle, please? I'm rather busy right now, and Internet's running slowly for me because I'm downloading Windows 8 Beta in the background. Thanks.
  24. Well, I can't say I had confidence in the lynch, but I am somewhat surprised at Ichirou's allegiance. I agree. I haven't read that many books, but none of them had multiple Townie Blockers. That Tadao is a Townie pretty much gives us our lynch for Today, which leads me to believe that Tadao's killer was the vig, as was discussed Yesterday. (or SK, if there is one) I doubt the Scum would've killed the Townie Blocker after their Blocker had claimed.
