  1. QM Note:My landscaping and tents look like MegaBloks. One of the reasons you guys only stay in one place is that I was sick and tired of all the landscaping I had to do in Quest 4. If you did go there, it'd just be some of my tress and some fires and bedrolls. Time and materials aren't that big of a factor in my choice. They're very similar machines, but I don't want them identical, so I'm giving each one its own advantages and disadvantages. The chu-ko-nu historically could be operated very quickly by one person and fired arrows at a lower power. (which is why they were usually poisoned) The polybolos, as seen in the videos you linked to, fired at a rate of only five arrows per minute, but it was more of a ballista and would probably score one-hit kills quite easily. Based on that, I'm saying that the chu-ko-nu would have a Hastened effect, while the polybolos would have a slightly higher Damage (2-5) and be able to fire twice in a Round, but only at the same target. Also, I realized that William's bow is Fire Elemental. He could shoot at the fire until it was hot enough to melt metal.
  2. GM Note:It lasts 3 Turns.
  3. Just tried it; I get the same error, and I was using LDD two days ago without a problem.
  4. That was the easiest Round I've ever GMed in the Arena. But really, what was the point of both combatants doing nothing? It's not as if Alf was in any danger, and the situation isn't going to get better for Drake if he camps out in the Back Row and does nothing.
  5. Results of Round Five of Gregory vs. Flamerobe: >Alf Gregory does nothing. >Drake Flamerobe does nothing. The two of you sit around and do nothing. Drake, you lose 1 Health from your decaying body, and the battle continues... Combatants: Alf Gregory, Level 13.5 Barbarian (played by Bricksandparts) Power: 21 Health: 15/21 Gold: 36 Inventory: Helmet (+1 Max Health), Sword of Decay (WP: 7; target loses Health equal to a quarter of the Power of the strike each following Turn for 3 Turns), Greatsword (WP: 3), Meteor Blade (WP: 8; Light Elemental), Healing Staff (WP: 5; unsuitable), Focal Staff (WP: 5; Expend 5 Ether to roll a Hit; unsuitable), Shovel, PIckaxe, Magnifying Glass, Magic Compass, Potions (2), Venom, Ice Bomb, Phoenix Essence, Mead, Aquamarine (Water), Scroll of Sleep, Scroll of Blindness, Scroll of Confusion, Scroll of Sealing Drake Flamerobe, Level 1 Knight (played by xxlrocka) *Decaying* Power: 4 Health: 6/10 Defense: 2 Gold: 5 Inventory: Torch (WP: 3), Shield (SP: 2), Potion Both of you, choose your targets and the row you want to fight in. Also mention if you want to try to flee, move, heal, or cast a magic spell, or if you want to use an item instead of attacking.
  6. QM Note:I dropped the two-player requirement, so if you do end up operating a siege engine, you'll still have to post during every Round.
  7. Which is another way of saying, "I'm not going to answer your accusations; I'm just going to vote for the suspect with the most votes and hope he gets lynched instead."
  8. GM Note: So... you both do nothing?
  9. No, there isn't. I was saying that there's nothing I can do to get myself 'confirmed' by investigation. That's out of my control right now. I never said the Agents were harmless. I said that the Mutineers were of higher priority. In other words, given a choice between an Agent and a Mutineer, at that time I would have picked the Mutineer. (now, given that choice and knowing that the Agents are Scum, I would base my choice on the roles of the suspects and the trustworthiness of whoever gave me the evidence)
  10. No, it's an example of me being Town, because I am Town. It's certainly not unheard of for Neutrals to side with the Town. The Mutineers, however, were clearly named the Scum team in the rules, and we knew we had to eliminate them, so they were of higher priority to someone who thought the Agents were Neutral.
  11. I never suggested that they could choose sides. I used that as an example of how much we didn't know about the Agents at that time, because I assumed that it was so ridiculous that no one would think I was seriously considering that a possibility. At that time, I believed them to be Independent. It certainly wouldn't be the first situation with more than one Independent participant, and it's not as if the known Town and Scum teams at that time didn't have names other than 'Town' and 'Scum'.
  12. I know KimT posted it somewhere in the Star Wars forum, but I have the link to the topic in General Discussion.
  13. No problem. Things were getting too laggy for me, anyways. Nearly died in godlands when I lagged into a Sprite God.Oh, and welcome to the guild, Sisco! I think I'm going to start restocking my freebie mule, by the way, so if you guys ever need anything... I have some T7/T3 stuff for Wizards, Archers, and Priests on there right now, plus a T3 cloak for Rogues.
  14. Awesome. What server?
  15. Current Sign-ups to Join Quest 17: The Lion's Share: Alf Gregory, Level 13.5 Barbarian (played by Bricksandparts) Helm Delvergrow, Level 1 Barbarian (played by Sloop) Erik Tyrvarr, Level 1 Barbarian (played by Myrddyn) Elgar Gligin, Level 10 Ranger (played by Jedi master Brick) Haldor Skovgaard, Level 16.5 Shaman (played by Scorpiox) Lord Lawrence Boomingham, Level 15.5 Paladin (played by Zepher) Durkon, Level 1 Mage (played by RPGer) Alexis Fenral, Level 19 Evoker (played by Masked Builder) "I will return to choose Barbarian Bitterstalk's replacement in two days."
  16. I realized that I haven't been confirmed, (or at least as confirmed as someone could possible be in a situation like this with Godfathers, Framers, variants of Cops, and the like) and that that's a point against me. There's really nothing I can do about that, and I understand that. There is proof of my efforts, in the form of a Day 1 lynch of a suspect I accused first who turned out to be Scum. Unfortunately, as has been pointed out, with two Scum factions, that means pretty much nothing. As for Lizzy, my campaigning for her lynch isn't anything personal. I'm doing it because I think she's Scum. (as if there should be any other reason for a Townie to try to get someone else lynched) I've already said why I find her suspicious, she's done nothing to make herself seem any less suspicious in my eyes, and she's still alive, therefore, I have continued to push for her lynch.
  17. Nice job ignoring the rest of my defense of my behavior. Oh, wait, that's right. You need it all laid out in front of you: I see four defenses of my behavior, only one of which has a portion which could be interpreted of me just coming out and saying, "I'm a Townie!". You've avoided the rest of the statement for the entire Day.
  18. If you're already named Calanon, you've already selected a unique name. What server are you on?
  19. I presented my defense already. Documenting all my "Townie actions" isn't a defense. Anyone can go back and list all my actions. In fact, I've done more than that. I've defended my behavior itself.
  20. I highly doubt anyone is going to buy all your items in one trade, so I'd just list everything and name your price in pots. You can always add something along the lines of, "I'll accept T9-T10 Archer equips, too." T12s are always changing in price because they're so hard to get, only pros buy them and, in some cases, there are dungeon equips that are preferred considering their price or stats. (Coral Bows and Coral Silk, for example are preferred by many over Covert and Hydra, while CSwords and CWands are almost always preferred over Acclaim and Recompense) I'd invest in Incs, Ammys, and T10-T11s if you're looking to save space.
  21. So I have to "play the game" by compiling all my "Townie actions" into an easy-to-read document, while my accuser sits back and refuses to - by your logic - "play the game" by doing his own research? If you want me to defend my behavior, I've already done that. If you want everything I've done laid out for you, well, you could at least know your facts before you accuse me.
  22. So you complain that other people aren't paying attention and don't know things, yet you want me to collect all my Townie actions in one place for you to read? And in what way could documenting my Townie actions possibly help? I'm a Townie, therefore, everything I do is an action performed by a Townie, therefore, everything I do is a Townie action.
  23. Results of Round Four of Gregory vs. Flamerobe: >Drake Flamerobe uses Potion. Alf Gregory vs. Drake Flamerobe - Hit Drake, even though this is just an Arena fight, you decide it best to consume a Potion, restoring yourself to full Health. Alf, you come in hard, and your sword smashes Drakes shield back into his chin, dealing 2 Light Elemental Damage. Drake, your body continues to decay, losing 1 Health, and the battle continues... Combatants: Alf Gregory, Level 13.5 Barbarian (played by Bricksandparts) Power: 21 Health: 15/21 Gold: 36 Inventory: Helmet (+1 Max Health), Sword of Decay (WP: 7; target loses Health equal to a quarter of the Power of the strike each following Turn for 3 Turns), Greatsword (WP: 3), Meteor Blade (WP: 8; Light Elemental), Healing Staff (WP: 5; unsuitable), Focal Staff (WP: 5; Expend 5 Ether to roll a Hit; unsuitable), Shovel, PIckaxe, Magnifying Glass, Magic Compass, Potions (2), Venom, Ice Bomb, Phoenix Essence, Mead, Aquamarine (Water), Scroll of Sleep, Scroll of Blindness, Scroll of Confusion, Scroll of Sealing Drake Flamerobe, Level 1 Knight (played by xxlrocka) *Decaying* Power: 4 Health: 7/10 Defense: 2 Gold: 5 Inventory: Torch (WP: 3), Shield (SP: 2), Potion Both of you, choose your targets and the row you want to fight in. Also mention if you want to try to flee, move, heal, or cast a magic spell, or if you want to use an item instead of attacking.
  24. Actually, I don't think anything has recently been said in this topic concerning spoilers in sigs. Your post about them was in another topic.
  25. QM Note:Okay, got it. So, if you build the polybolos, as long as it's in the same general area as the Slice N Dice, you can have the Slice N Dice operated automatically and melee target a random enemy. I still am opposed to players building their own weapons, but if you want to do that, I suppose it's okay. It would, by the way, realistically take more time to build, since the parts would be smaller and more intricate, and would need to be more durable and more precise in order to be a useable weapon after this Quest ends. I did remove it from his updated inventory that I posted in the Hall. If any of you wants it, be my guest.
