Thanks, everyone. Thanks! Coming from someone such as yourself when I myself was not really satisfied with the accuracy of the model, that means a lot.

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share

QM Note: I apologize for the wait. I've been all over all day, and as I was about to return home, I found out that there was a fire at the house of someone I know, so I went to help clean up and get food and the like, and I'm just getting back to my computer now. I'll try to get the next Round up ASAP. -

Vader and Threepio have chromed hands. -
I have the calendar and the details on the back do say that you must purchase $75-worth of Star Wars items, though I agree that the employees will probably be more lenient.

QM Note:One roll for the Slice N Dice and one roll for each of the Polybolos' two shots. -
I voted for Original Castle and a return of original castle themes. The classic castle sets (and I use that term to collectively refer to the older sets, not the CC sets themselves) have all the bright colors I love about LEGO minifigs and the lack of a defined universe and storyline which allows for more MOCing possibilities. The sets themselves really don't matter that much to me, since I'd end up tearing them apart for MOCs if I bought them. I'd love to see those old factions return combining the higher level of detail and the bright colors. Imagine the Black Falcon Knight of the Joust, but with highlights of bright blue instead of black. (though, to be honest, I wouldn't mind one bit if TLG returned to the simplistic prints, especially for faces) And maybe lose the breastplate piece; never did like the bulkiness of it.

Hope you come back soon. I did some leveling tonight... Skipper donated a T4 Seal for your eventual Pally, too. It's in your vault. April 5, 2012: Leveling for Lazy Players Realm of the Mad God: 9 (Brickdoctr: 5 Suicides, Emorith: 1, Hornblower: 1, ADonut: 1, PoisonKate: 1*) Eurobricks Guild: 1 (Oryx Survivals: ADonut: 1) *Unconfirmed Doc introduced leveling in its laziest form, and Skipper joined him briefly in a godlands train accumulating XP, after which Doc took control of Flipz and leveled him up in a similarly lazy way. Flipz lazily got his char leveled-up by another player. Skipper showed off his use of a script to list all his loot, and Doc joined him using the script as a lazy person's version of a manually updated Excel spreadsheet. The final score for the guild wasn't bad, a -8, and five of the deaths were suicides by Doc, who was gaining Fame and stars in a particularly lazy way. Donut finished with the highest score at +0 - exact laziness unknown. Doc and his lazy Fame farming finished first in Guild Fame gain, at +2,093.

Any enemy not targeted will get a Free Hit on the party after everyone have acted. -
This post makes me realize just how much junk I have on these chars. Snake Skins, Poison Fangs, Snake's Eyes...why the MegaBloks am I holding on to ten GShields? And eleven Illusionists, when I only have enough Soul Siphons, Sup HPs, and Destructions for four leveling sets? Oh, and this doesn't count the Ammy that I could buy if I wanted to, but haven't gotten around to buying.

Mafia School: A Bedtime Story
Brickdoctor replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It should calm down as the game progresses and players get more focused on the actual objective of the game. Speaking from experience, right now they have nothing better to do, and having read some of the advanced games, some of the players will assume that sex-related roleplaying (no pun intended) is what everyone does in EB games. -
Community Build: SW Episode I - The Phantom Menace
Brickdoctor replied to Oky's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The tag you're looking for is this one. The tags being discussed here are the ones awarded for participating in a Community Build. (participants of Oky's and AC's CBs have a choice of a blue Rebellion insignia, red Rebellion insignia, Empire insignia, Republic insignia, or CIS insignia, and participants of the original CB get an Open Circle Fleet tag)Unfortunately, as Mr Man said, there are no active Mods in this forum, so I have no idea when you'll actually get a tag. -
Did you actually buy the dyes, or just see the previews in the Nexus? Because those dyes don't carry over to your next char after you die, and the only way to get Gold is to pay real money for it.They summon a drake that fights with you for thirty to sixty seconds. The more expensive drakes have more powerful status effects, such as healing you or paralyzing and enemy. See here. If you get one as a drop, they're not bad items, but I don't think they're worth the Fame. The only thing worth buying for Fame is the Amulet. Everything else is very temporary and doesn't make much of a difference outside of fighting O1 and O2 with a group of pros.

It did? I didn't notice that. In that case, then, it's probably fine as-is.

"Ah, yes, I'm familiar with Lady Wren, I was a part of the team of heroes that was taken to her arena. That was my second quest after joining Heroica. Cunning woman, she is, but if you ask me, one day, her habit of toying with heroes will be her downfall." "The shield was originally primarily the pronotum and elytra of a very large golden scarab beetle that my fellow party members and I fought on distant Salmanda. I had it reformed into a more traditional shape around a core of Mythril. It's taken some getting used to, that's for sure, but the Copper Fox is a good teacher, and I expect my new skills as a Warden will greatly increase the effectiveness of my defense on my next quests."

I've doubled total Damage whenever I QMed users of Mead. It might not be a bad idea to change that, though, seeing how powerful some players are now.

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM Note:No, sorry. You're inside the bottom level of the West Wall, while the Saboteurs are on the second level of the North-West Tower. You'd have to throw the bomb down a corridor, through a doorway, and up a staircase. -
I follow Skrall from the Arena back to the Hall. Grabbing some bread and meat, I join him at a table.
-
That's similar to what I do for Fame Farming. I start a new char, drop all his equips, and stand in a godlands train until I get to 186 Fame. After Pacifist, Thirsty, Mundane, and Friend of the Cubes, I get 400 Fame. You can use the Fame Achievement Calculator to set a goal. Type the amount of Fame you want in the second field, check all the achievements you plan to get, and the amount of Base Fame needed appears in the first field. I just did that for my Knight yesterday. Maybe I'll go do yours sometime today. Not to 400 Fame, but to Level 20. Shouldn't take more than five minutes. And if accuracy boosting in the tutorial is what you want, aim at a turret and turn on auto-fire. Leave it there for twenty minutes. (the length of time you have before you're logged out for inactivity)

Mafia School: A Bedtime Story

This game looks great, Sandy. Love the avatars. I'm looking forward to the eye candy alone. Go Cinderella! Go Jack! -
You can still do Spider Den at Level 1 if you kite, hit and run, and dodge well. April 4, 2012: Moar Faaaaaaaame! Realm of the Mad God: 12 (Deaths: LegoFlipz: 4, Brickdoctr: 1+2 Suicides, TLSisco: 1, Emorith: 1, ADonut: 1*, BrickCosty: 1*, Hornblower: 1*) Eurobricks Guild: 1 (Oryx Survivals: TLSisco: 1) *Unconfirmed Death was the story of the day for the guild, but with death comes Fame. Flipz died the most, enabling him to pull ahead of the middle of the pack in the Fame race, and he's gaining on B&P. Doc gained on Skipper through Fame farming, accumulating 933 Fame, while Skipper himself gained 634 Fame. BrickCosty's first death raked in 205 Fame and thrust him right into the Fame race. Overall, the guild finished with a pitiful score of -11. Sisco was the overall winner, with a score of +0.

If Level 20 Priest obliterates them, Level 20 Necro with decent equips is pure annihilation. Crack open all the eggs in a room, hit 'em with a couple shots from the skull, and the room is cleared with you at full HP in under ten seconds. Knight's strength is the high Def cap. Unfortunately, that means that unless you max Def, Knight is much less of a tank than you would imagine it would be. Long range? Level 1. It's all in the dodging... You can solo Red Demons with Level 1 Wizzys if you know how to dodge well.
-
We can always do it again with the normal Back Row rules, if you prefer. Awesome fight, though. Man, if I had just let you challenge me instead of the other way around, my Shield would've been fired first...

I accept Skralls hand. "Well fought. That crossbow doesn't seem very quick to load, but it sure packs a punch."
