  1. "I can think about them, though I often shortly cease to experience them if I do think about them while experiencing them, so it's worth a shot: dreams."
  2. "Ah, thoughtless awareness?" OoC: A really long series of Google searches based on thoughtlessness led to this. I'm still trying to figure out how I got there.
  3. Yeah, with a couple new phases, including ninjas that really don't belong in the current setting. Not looking forward to it.
  4. I pause for a moment, then reply, "A river."
  5. I address the talking (stone?) head. "Yes, we're here to see Master Blue Hood, and we'd be happy to attempt to answer your riddle."
  6. Other GM's Note: The definition of the Hexed effect is, "The target acts against an ally instead of an opponent for a Turn," with no mention of being able to choose actions. In a quest, obviously, that's because enemies can't choose actions. In the Arena, I would say that the Hexed hero still gets to choose his action, because the definition of the effect implies that the effect takes place while the target is acting, not while a target is deciding how to act. It's not mind control.
  7. Motioning for the other heroes to keep an eye on those other two guys and making a mental note of the oddly-placed chain in a barrel, I walk up to the door and politely knock.
  8. Forestmen are awesome. 'Nuf said. I threw on the dark green cape because I wanted a cape and dark green looked better than brown. Grabbed the S3 elf's longbow because it is, quite simply, better looking than the classic one. Big yellow feather because I wanted some more bright colors in there. Eyepatch because...I don't remember. I remember I did that combo for an MOC (Ambush!, I believe) and liked it, so that's probably why. As for personality, I didn't really try to develop any sort of personality. Roleplaying's not my thing. As it turned out, other players perceived Docken as a calm and quiet kind of guy and decided he was an "epic character" for being that way, so I just stuck with it. Nowadays, I do do more roleplaying, but most of it is inside Docken's head (in italics) and not spoken aloud.
  9. Thanks, but I wasn't trying to pin voting on anyone or go with anything. I voted for Lizzy because I thought she was Scum.
  10. I struggle to my knees, bending over as Haldor restores my Health and the throbbing in my head slowly ceases. I retrieve my bow, which, luckily, appears to have been protected by my now-blackened but otherwise perfectly functional shield. "Thanks, Master Skovgaard. "MegaBloks. So, it was sabotage? I suppose that means we'll have to visit each of these suspects. Where do you guys want to go first? I was thinking Master Swifthorn, since it appears that he deals with Gold, and to me seems more likely to sabotage a scientific demonstration than a fishmonger, consultant, tailor, or doctor. Master Blue Hood would be my second choice."
  11. Additionally, if we calculate total Damage, Althior had a Magic Burst that did 88 Fire Elemental Damage to, if I remember correctly, eleven enemies. (two lords, one archer, one scout, one engineer, four guards, and two elites) That's a total of 968 Fire Elemental Damage.
  12. LDraw's website claims that SR 3D Builder is included in the All-in-One package. I'm assuming that that's the free version without all the extra features.
  13. Which editor are you using? LDraw alone is a parts library, not a building software, as far as I know. Have you tried one of the all-in-one installers?
  14. Happy birthday, Rufus!
  15. I always change mine during the quest based on what I've seen the players do. Unfortunately, I tend to underestimate my heroes sometimes. Quest 31 will be harder, I promise you that.
  16. That's awesome. The light streaming out onto the landing struts and out of the boarding hatch give an incredible effect to the complete look of the Falcon. I love the fact that you've taken the time to do this with only LEGO's lighting, too.
  17. Outstanding work once again, Legostein. Clever solution for Bib's lekku, and Jabba is incredibly creative, though I think his tail is too short. Looking at the size of the studs on those pieces, I think those are normal LEGO pieces, not Duplo.
  18. Why would I suicide with equips? I take them off and stash them on a mule before I suicide.
  19. OoC: I should've taken a Free Hit from the Right Repository. "Okay, let's get one hero on that Left Repository; everyone else targets the tanks." Order of Actions: Bartholomew Docken Lord Lawrence Boomingham En Sabah Nur Jess Islanti Haldor Skovgaard Blocking the flames with my shield, I reload my Briar Bow and attack the Flaming Storage Tanks from the Back Row.
  20. I think that's been edited in. In the last picture especially, you can see that the cockpit area is in-focus, and the nose and tail, which, at this angle, would be almost exactly the same distance from the lens as the cockpit, are blurry. The transition from blurred to sharp is also very abrupt.
  21. Yup, the Undead Dwarf God. I have no idea why he isn't just a big undead dwarf. That would prevent him from being confused with Constructs. Then again, Lizard Gods spawn Night Elves, and Minotaurs spawn Ogres, so... The only one that makes sense is the Flayer God, which spawns Flayers.
  22. Speaking of screenshots, I got a couple of you suiciding by beach pirates and a Scorpion Queen.
  23. Reaves and Perry often work together. Death Star was a great book with no main movie characters appearing as major characters in the book. One of them wrote Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter, which I think illustrates what a novel about a single Sith should be - and what Darth Plagueis failed to be. Anderson wrote the Jedi Academy trilogy, which really set up a lot of our current characters. Among Zahn, Anderson, and Lucas, we get the majority of our main characters. Mara, Jacen, Jaina? Zahn's work. Daala, Kyp, Tenel Ka? Anderson's work. (Anderson, by the way, married Rebecca Moesta, who wrote Young Jedi Knights and set up all the original members of the next generation of Jedi - that series is targeted at kids, though; I'm not a huge fan of it) In my opinion, no EU book will ever be better than Heir to the Empire. That was me. Except that in my opinion, Corrde isn't a new Mara Jade, because there can never be another Mara Jade. By the way, I was looking up various core characters on Wookieepedia to confirm their first appearances, and I found that Anakin Solo (shouldn't have been killed, in my opinion) was supposed to take Luke's place as leader of the Jedi, but it was Lucas who decided that his path was too similar to that of his namesake, leading to his being killed off in Star by Star. Oh! Look! Star by Star was Denning's work, too! I have the very improbable hope that that event is never described in any publication. Just leave the gap in the timeline, and let fans draw their own conclusions. I'm pretty sure that no author could ever do his death justice.
  24. I'm lazy.

And, you know, part of me's still hoping that the game will be changed to team win. :-P

  25. Continuing this in Rules and Discussion because it doesn't apply any longer to the current battle in the Arena. In actual quests, Rows will be factored into the total Damage, so the shield will be much more effective.
