  1. The_Customizer didn't actually have a Phoenix Essence, so you were Knocked Out at the end of the battle and didn't get XP.
  2. Studio models. A lot of the illustrations are altered slightly to make things look better, and aren't necessarily true to the models used. (if a model exists) A lot of the measurements have been retconned a few times. Couple good sources are here and here.
  3. Really? That's the one dungeon Skipper and I can never figure out. Snake Pits can be done with one hand behind our backs, UDLs are routine, Jungles are rushed in under five minutes, but Sprites? I always end up riding a conveyor into a Limon turret. And the conveyors as a whole mess with my dodging.
  4. It's not useless. Classes like Rogues and Assassins depend a lot on Spd to dart in and out while cloaked or to lob poison. As a general rule, as long as Spd isn't so high that you can't control it, better Spd equals better dodging. Now, I would never use a Para Spd instead of a Para HP, simply because of the Para rings HP can't be beat for unmaxed chars, but Para Spd is not at all useless. (and you can get four Para Spds for the price of one Para HP, so there's that - if you're not playing Rogue or Assassin, though, I'd consider a Para Dex or Para Att instead within that price range, if you can trade for one)
  5. In four months, if you still don't have any pots and you've been playing non-stop, then you can say that you at least suck more than I.
  6. I mentally kick myself for not training to be a Druid, as I can't revive Jess. Focusing on the matter at hand, however, I fire on the Enchanted Bear Skin Rug with my Briar Bow, still slightly frightened by its whirling paws and acting from the Back Row. Order of Actions: Bartholomew Docken Lord Lawrence Boomingham En Sabah Nur Haldor Skovgaard
  7. At least you get rings. I usually get nothing but Pollen Powder and some really MegaBloky low-tier equip. As far as drops worth something, I've gotten only two CSkulls and one CStaff. One word: Flash. The devs have opened so many new servers, and when all's said and done, Flash is the problem. From what I've heard, though, it would be insanely difficult to port the game over to, say, HTML 5. Also, despite the fact that rubberbanding is usually a server issue, I find that I often rubberband when I'm running low on available RAM. Whenever I go into a critical situation - O1's Castle, Pentas, LotLLs, or UDLs - I close all other programs and tabs if I notice even the slightest hint of lag. I actually support this decision. The way the game is set up, real money cannot give you any sort of major advantage through the systems the devs have set up. (you'd have to pay another player to get equips and the like) Realm Gold can make things a lot more convenient and make it easier to max multiple chars, but that's about it. Everything else is cosmetic. (other than the Valentine Heart pets and the Lil' Oryx pets that can be traded to other players for quite a bit of Def) No. Pretty much any enemy in the game can be killed with an unmaxed char if you know what you're doing. It took me six months to get my first Att pot from a Flying Brain. It took Skipper and Hasenklein a few weeks. It really depends on your ability to dodge and predict enemy patterns. I've never purposely drank a stat pot, and I have, at the moment, 5 Spd, 2 Dex, 9 Att, 3 Wis, 113 Def, 6 Vit, and 5 Life. I've gotten pots from Level 12 chars and T11 Oryx drops with Level 14 chars, and I can kill a god at Level 1 if the surroundings are favorable. The game is set up so that getting back to Level 20 is easy. It takes under twenty minutes for a skilled player to level back up. With the permadeath, this makes the game a lot more forgivable. And, to be fair, Lizard Gods drop Soul Siphon Skulls that can be sold for Spd to some players, and they also drop Snake Pit portals, which guarantee at least one Spd pot when Stheno is killed.
  8. OoC: I could've sworn I already listed an order... Order of Actions: Bartholomew Docken Lord Lawrence Boomingham En Sabah Nur Jess Islanti Haldor Skovgaard
  9. Oh, I gotcha. Done that a couple times myself before. Okay. I can't get on for several hours, in all likelihood. I'll try to find you then, otherwise I'll put the stuff on a temporary mule and PM you the login details.
  10. SR 3D is Windows-only. As far as I know, CUUSOO just takes plain image files, and Makuta wants to use CAD to make some nice renders to present his concept.
  11. I think you mean a Djinn. Ghost God's don't explode. (Ghost Gods also have shots that are twice as powerful as those of Djinns, but they're fired at a very wide angle, so under the circumstances you described, a Ghost God wouldn't have been able to shotgun you) I'm going to start reorganizing my mules and cleaning out stuff that I don't need, so if there's something you guys want, let me know. Among other things, Para Vits, Para Spds, Para Atts, Para MPs, and Para Wis are all 2-for-1 Spd. Snake's Eye Rings and Crystal Bone Rings are free. Snake Skin Shields, GShields, Steel Helms, Cloudflash Scepters, Timelock Orbs, DSeals, and DHunter traps are absolutely free. (all T4 or D-tiered) All T8/T4 leather equips, 2-for-1 Spd. (GBows, FDaggers, DHides, Snake Skin Armor, Red Agents, Felwasp) RHearts and DScales are 4-for-1 Spd.
  12. EDIT: Removed to avoid influencing the gameplay.
  13. Congratulations, and thanks, Erdbeereis! It'll be great to have an active Star Wars staff member again.
  14. Not much, usually. My hunch is that it'll go on sale during May 4th, and then be discontinued.
  15. And some folk think unto this dayThat burglars stole that pair away! But the truth about the cat and pup Is this: They ate each other up!
  16. Smiling to myself with satisfaction as Jess pulls Haldor out of the rug and Nur Confuses and Seals it, I quickly turn my attention back to the rug which I continue to cautiously back away from. With practiced ease, as I back away to the Back Row, I nock an arrow on my Briar Bow and fire at the Enchanted Bear Skin Rug.
  17. Additionally, this is built on a brick-built base, while Classic Pirates forts, I believe, were usually placed on prefab baseplates. The buildings here are completely enclosed, unlike buildings in classic sets which are usually open on at least one side. Overall, while built to resemble Classic Pirates sets, this RCB is built with a lot of current techniques, so that drives the piece count up.
  18. "San Francisco-style roads". Haha. I guess I only find that funny because I live on the West Coast and have been there more than a few times. The whole thing is gorgeous, as usual. I like Buildings 3 and 4 the best. Can't wait to see the rest of the train, too, as my interest in trains has increased since you started this city. I'm sure it'll look awesome, just like the rest of this. The addition of a subway to this city has me convinced that once you are done, there will be no point to anyone else's trying to build a LEGO city.
  19. "How much worse can my luck get?" I mumble to myself. Slightly wary of the rug that has done such damage to the party already, I attack the Enchanted Bear Skin Rug from the Back Row with my Briar Bow. Order of Actions: Jess Islanti Bartholomew Docken En Sabah Nur Lord Lawrence Boomingham Haldor Skovgaard
  20. OoC: Oh, sorry, forgot the order. Order of Actions: En Sabah Nur Bartholomew Docken Lord Lawrence Boomingham Jess Islanti Haldor Skovgaard
  21. If it's rendering you want to do, LeoCAD has more export options. I use Bricksmith on a Mac, so I don't really know how to set up LeoCAD. It should be fairly straight-forwad, but I'm sure there are some other members more experienced than I who can help you.
  22. I struggle to free myself from the rug, while hoping that my Shield will protect me. As stars appear and the world begins to turn black, I make a note to myself that if I am revived, I will shoot the Enchanted Bear Skin Rug in the soft flesh of its mouth as I'm pulled out, using my Briar Bow from the Back Row.
  23. OoC: Haha, fair enough. I turn to the rest of the heroes. "I'm thinking that we have to beat the thing anyways, and if we do pull him out first, we might be forced to protect him during the battle, and this is already a winnable battle in which we don't really need reinforcements, so I say we beat the rug first."
  24. Awesome. I'm seeing an unusual item (artifact?) in the listed loot and a winnable battle, though, so I think the other players would probably prefer that we just do this the traditional way.
