Wow. I was going through the Castle with my 7/8, and I actually stood on top of a Stone Guardians sword due to my not noticing, for some reason, that only one guardian was down and the other was still up. Escaped to the Nexus with 26 HP. For once, I'm glad I was using an Exa HP and not an Ammy.

I'm not trying to defend him or justify his actions; I just wanted to clarify Flipz's intentions.

That was the part a couple of the other Scum were trying to get him to take out.

I don't condone the ranting and the attacking the host, and I hope I'm not revealing too much with this post. Flipz said he was genuinely upset, but his intention was for the post to be a gambit disguised as a rant. Not all of the players he mentioned were Scum, and some of the players he didn't mention were Scum. He knew he was already as good as dead, and he was trying to make something happen and confuse the Town before he went down. He also purposely left holes in his argument and told the rest of us Scum where the holes were so that we could point them out. And, also, I actually thought that Bob's having us Scum sit together was a reference to his "Hands up!" argument in Baritones 3.

I think it's already a very cool mechanic and it doesn't need nerfing. Mystic Knights have the ability to increase their WP already, anyways, and you can still roll negative rolls with Nostrum in effect. Instead of a max WP, I'd disallow upgrading the base WP.

Yup, I'm still addicted. Got on intending to check out the lag and roll a Priest, ended up taking out my 7/8 Necro to clear the realm and rush the Castle. The lag was kinda bad, though, so I got off before I did something stupid. Now I need to find time to play this game again...

As has been said before, all we know for a fact about the 2013 set is the packaging. Anything else is purely speculation and belongs in the Future Star Wars Sets thread. When it is time for a 2013 Rumors thread, a member of the staff will create one.

4/8s are almost always Def, Att, Spd, Dex. Life and Mana are too expensive for a char that you just plan to farm with and do easy- to medium- difficulty events and dungeons, and Vit and Wis don't make enough of a difference. The only reasons to max a 6/8, 7/8, or 8/8 are because you're rich enough to afford to lose one (pros), because you want to have one to take out every now and then (me), or because you're in a situation where you know there's a very low chance of death and you want to have all the advantages you can get. (dedicated healer who sits back in a corner at O2, for example) 5/8s aren't that bad nowadays. The buff to Vit makes it fairly reasonable if you can dodge well enough for it to make a difference, and Wis is still useful.

That's because not everything he said was true...So, yeah, since all roles are getting redone, where can we discuss our original roles?

When I have more time, I think I'm going to max a Priest as my main. A 4/8 Priest with CWand, Divine, Elder, and Para HP is awesome. I can do pretty much everything other than Tomb and O2 with it. (which is where I died with my last one)

...and that is how lazy I've been. I haven't even finished distributing the loot from your last ragequit, and you're already back. I think a lot of us are busy with other stuff, though. As far as I know, Nihilus is the only one still actively playing.

QM Note: Okay, give me a day or two to figure out what to do. I can add a new player from the Hall, but that'll probably disrupt the balance of the party, and that someone will have to read through sixty-odd pages of quest and will probably have read the other two Dastan quests already, ruining some of the story for you guys. I could also take over Flipz as a QM-controlled NPC just to finish the quest, or I could return him to the Hall and it would be, as you say, just you and I. Do you have any preference?

Supported! Aside from the fact that I love anything to do with T-47s as accurate as this one is, I think such a product would be a great way to increase the popularity of Technic through Star Wars and integrate some much more complex functions into models that don't need to have the majority of their Technic covered up by System bricks. Being a vehicle, it'll avoid all the problems TLG had with Hasbro the last time they attempted Technic Star Wars.
