Now you're just claiming that you're trustworthy because of your backstory; it has (At least, it shouldn't, if this situation is set up correctly, as if this was some sort of game. ) no effect on your alignment.- 630 replies

Oh, yes, of course, let's not discuss the flaws in our plan, because then we know that the scum won't think of exploiting any flaws that are still in our plan because no one considered whether or not they were there because we haven't discussed them. And by the way, telling someone that it would be dangerous to do something and telling someone not to do something is close to the same thing, except that the former allows you an escape where you don't have to technically be responsible for any advice or opinions you gave.- 630 replies

I disagree. You haven't done anything but agree with others, seemingly without listening to things relevant to what you're agreeing with, and try to appear more helpful that you are being.- 630 replies

I think using the Magnifying Glass is an ability, and I also notice that the word 'ability' has been used in reference to what results are posted even though it is then said in parentheses, "Day-actions" and "Night-actions", so it isn't quite clear what we are told and what we aren't. As for passing the item, I don't see anything that says we can't do that in public, so we could insist that the item only be passed around in public, otherwise we attack the last one known to have been given the Magnifying Glass.- 630 replies

No, you're not; you're just agreeing with someone and then telling them not to mention the flaws in the plan — that's a great way to ensure that we don't see a flaw in a plan, especially since we were already discussing ways to counter possible scum responses to the plan... and it's also a way for you to seem more helpful when you're actually not doing anything to help.- 630 replies

How would that help? If this is like similar situations, the Nephilim know who they are; they won't buy a Magnifying Glass if we've agreed not to; they have no need of it. I highly doubt that would catch anyone. On the other hand, it could easily impede someone who actually is on our side and can purchase the tool, but wants to do so as quickly as possible without the scum knowing until the action is carried out.- 630 replies

Are you listening to the rest of us? We're just now discussing how to make sure we're all agreed on who would be investigated if this tool was bought.- 630 replies

Hopefully so. All this being said, I don't think I see a way that it could hurt to try to make something happen through that Today, so, very well, if we are in agreement, I don't mind contributing some Gold.- 630 replies

We don't know that; we don't know what actions are ranged and which ones aren't. Although I guess it could be that doesn't apply to abilities, only attacks...no idea how it applies to Scrolls.- 630 replies

MegaBloks, I missed that. That plan does make more sense. I still wouldn't trust the result Today as much as I might later on, but it'll be something that'll make some relevant discussion and actions happen. But they could just only 'clear' their own scummy friends. And we can't always force the Magnifying Glass to be used during the Day according to public consensus, or the scum might be able to block the action or return the wrong result of the action. Agreed. But I don't really expect anyone to do something as obviously scummy as to refuse to pass it, not this early in the situation.- 630 replies

I have to agree with Zelphie. It's too early to be blindly trusting someone with a powerful tool that most everyone will probably want to believe. Better to try to come up with a plan of who to attack together Today, something that doesn't involve investing in giving power to one hero, and then analyze how different individuals respond.- 630 replies

Doesn't seem like a consistent stat boost, then. No thanks. That might make sense. I've heard of the powers of Raw Meat. Does anyone have any Raw Meat? But preferably from Mad Cows and preferably not from Teuthisal. I agree!- 630 replies

Eh, it's so early Zpilf's statement and your statement are all mostly roleplaying and my statements are response to that (as if this was some sort of game ), so I'll just for now say, 'okay'. Wait, that sounds like something that could get me inflicted with the Enamored effect.- 630 replies

Swinehurst sent me a message on a potato saying that I should tell you something about myself. I like the color green. Oh, that's a revolutionary new way of approaching the first Day, not trusting anyone and not making the same statement that everyone else does; I agree with you! I'm going to follow you around like a sheep. Will it improve my stats in a quantifiable way?- 630 replies

[SoNE] Episode I; the wartorn cloud city
Brickdoctor replied to Bkrosell's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
I think part of the problem with viewers seeing exactly where this is and what's going on might be because of the flatness of the MOC; it doesn't have that tall airiness that Cloud City buildings usually have. Maybe try some bridges/walkways held up over the surface? -
I love that cloud car. Very sleek. I do agree that the tower looks a little like it's made of stone, though, with the way the corners are done.
-
Looking good! I really like what you've done as far as the style of the buildings. The 'Anteater' makes me laugh, but it looks great because it maintains a functional look. I do wish that the platforms were more round, and maybe they and the bridges leading to them wouldn't look bad in grey, to give some contrast between them and the buildings and prevent the MOC from having too much white in it.
