  1. You pick up the two coins and see that they both have a '10' molded into them, giving you 20 Gold. You find nothing in the barrel.Moving to the second warehouse, you stop before entering to listen at the door. You can hear some clinking of metal and quiet but casual-sounding conversation inside. What is your purpose here, Ambassador Wineghilm?"
  2. Except he's investigating the one below him on the list, when I think we wanted to investigate the one above. Another point for confusing and ineffective organization attempts Today.
  3. Oh, yes, suddenly it's "very likely". If you're going to be so certain about that and if you're going to criticize someone else for not doing anything, then at least do something about it yourself instead of being an inactive sheep. I'm starting to agree with Scamander. This attempt at organization is going nowhere Today. We have but a few hours left and have yet to agree to anything resembling a coordinated attack. I have in past situations seen the power of a town core organized and carefully separated among different leaders in secret, and that was very effective, but in that situation and most other situations the core needs to form based on a few individuals that trust each other behind the scenes, not because of attempted organization in public. It may not be a bad thing to just let this play out without trying to further organize, because so far that's produced nothing but inaction and, for some heroes, confusion. Luridan's scumminess is not even close to the only thing we know about. Just quickly from my notes, we've got: two individuals who stepped outside the Hall to apologize in discussion there, one who summarized and is very quick to be an obvious sheep, one who posted that he was catching up before he caught up to look more active and also knows what he's doing wrong but doesn't fix it, one who asked other individuals to tell him what happened, and one who handed Gold to another without much of a reason.
  4. I can only agree with what has been said: your junk looks terrific! What's in the MOC is all excellent; one thing that I feel was missing is some sort of covering for the fighter. If he's trying to hide it, a makeshift hangar might be a good addition. (And hangars have all sorts of equipment in them that are fun to build.)
  5. Much sleeker in both shape and color blocking; I like it! I think the way the wings are oriented with the angled side in the front is a little strange; that appears to be a CW feature. But it fits your backstory.
  6. Oh, I'm not trying to judge his alignment; I just want to point out that his behavior isn't unusual for him and I wouldn't try to infer too much from it at this point.
  7. This scattered and indecisively non-contributing behavior, in my experience, is to be expected from characters such as Maxi, and the sample size of Days played out is too small to make much judgment based on inactivity. This inactivity isn't the kind that's trying to look active or helpful but isn't, that sort of behavior is what would be immediately suspicious to me.
  8. Just as an observation, because I can't force either of you to do or not do anything in this situation, but it's generally bad form to join and have one of your first posts be a bump to ask for instructions or a CAD file. Additionally, this is Hollander's model, (Though I don't know how much Dapper has modified or what Hollander's conditions were upon giving him the LXF.) so I think it would be courteous to check with him first. Although he's not really active nowadays...
  9. Also, even if we didn't have a list, I wouldn't recommend investigating Luridan. I read in a book about these situations before that you shouldn't investigate those you have a read on, whether that read is town or scum. To make the best use of your investigation opportunities, you first investigate the ones that you can't get a read on.
  10. I thought some of us took their Gold back. In any case, it doesn't matter anymore, because he's already bought the Glass. Now if he'd use it...
  11. As I said: whether you attack him or not, that won't stop him from attacking you. Once again, if you truly have the Hall's best interests in mind, then do something with your Abilities to help the Hall. In this case, that's making a Mixure. And I'm not going to attack him because I'm in favor of attacking you.
  12. Actually, that's your fault. There's nothing preventing you from making your Mixture while he attacks. Not as if your attacking him is going to stop him from attacking you.
  13. The newest Castle line.
  14. I actually am in favor of attacking him. We are past the point of trying to get him to explain or show worth; he is the best option right now, and we can change our attacks if a better target presents itself. On the other hand, I don't want to be attacked from afar while waiting for other heroes to state their thoughts, so I'm going to stay behind Cover for now. We wouldn't get the results of the investigation until the end of the Day, after all our actions are finalized.
  15. Ah, Alchemist-only power, that makes sense.
  16. If you're playing mafia, then you're probably not sleeping or eating lunch already, so that should leave some time to catch up on this game during those times when you're spamming the refresh button and no one else is posting in the mafia topic.
  17. As I said before, there's going to be some risk somewhere, and right now, I'm willing to trust Kharybdis. I am fairly certain that using an item and attacking are two separate Actions.
  18. Not really on-topic in a topic about 2013 sets. Moving to Culture and Multimedia.
  19. I make this statement in all seriousness; do not take it as just an insult: at this point you might try crossing your fingers and hoping that someone else makes a big mistake and ends up being the better candidate to be killed, because right now, your behavior has made you far and away the best option for us to try to kill, regardless of the Abilities you possess. Which is not to say that you should give up and refuse to help through your Abilities, if you truly have the Hall's best interests in mind.
  20. The entire point of the list was that it was random to remove any choice the investigator had about who to investigate and who to give the Glass to, to prevent the scum from taking advantage of it.
  21. QM Note:I'm not saying that there is or isn't something useful there, but there are other things to investigate in the picture besides the crate and the body. Sir Isaac chuckles. "Heh, that's just what the Lions, Hinckwells, and elves were doing when I got the heroes to kill the elves. "On that note, the inn is probably the only secure location besides this base and the keep where the Pogs and Mopag are unlikely to interfere. I would not be opposed to the idea." You return to the room where Isaac is speaking to Arthur and Nerwen.
  22. What the MegaBloks are you talking about?
