Hail, friends! By no way I was ever expecting this set to be minifig scale. But close to it would be nice. As I said before, if it was just one of the towers by box, you could just get a bigger thing by buying multiples. But on second thought, I'm not probably being reasonable. Tower Bridge has 2 bridges, and if only one tower comes out, people will just say "1 tower, really? Don't they know there's a second one too?"

I'll let him know that - but as for the capes and flags, remember they are not auctions, but one-click buy.

Is the 6054 Forestmen's Hideout overlooked?
Artifex replied to Artifex's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Oh, please don't ask me that... I haven't even got yet (it's on its way home), but I already have plans for a MOC using the two... And I never had any of the Forestmen's sets when I was a kid. -

Hail, friends! I recently bought some custom Lego capes and flags on ebay. They are just fantastic, and their creator/seller is just an awesome guy. Today, he e-mailed me saying he got some new capes and flags out. As I believe all of you may be interested, here is the link for his new customs, and the link to his shop: Here, here and here. Other items: here. Shop: here Cheers! EDIT: Spelling; also, this thread should go in the Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds subforum - can any of the Mods please put it there? Thanks!

For some strange reason, Davey, you seem to have a living, natural, non-Lego vegetable in your more-than-awesome-place... Is that on purpose? EDIT: Minor spelling

If it was only half of the bridge in minifig scale, this would probably be the top-seller architecture set ever. And forever.

First of all, thank you Whung for the pictures (both the Tower Bridge and the Winter Bakery one). Tower Bridge looks nice, but I'll just wait for more and more detailed pictures. I had bigger expectations, and it's just my fault that so far, this set doesn't live to them.

Thanks a lot for the most expected picture of Eurobricks in all times! This set looks so cute and completely spectacular! I want lots of it!

I'm glad you are a newbie around here - I can only imagine what you will be doing when you are a veteran! Great MOC, man - I'm a conformist!!

Hail, friends! I was going through ebay last week looking for a couple of good Lego auctions when I found some (make it 3) 6054 Forestmen's Hideout. I decided to place a bid on one of them, and then on a second one, just in case. Thing is: I ended up winning both of them, and that's just because I didn't bid on the third one too. And mind you: I could have won the second one even if I had bid like 0.99 pence (British cents)! And no one actually bought/bid the third 6054, and there was soon another one for sale. This got me thinking: is the 6054 Forestmen's Hideout overlooked? I haven't got mine yet (and I never had one either), but it seems such a nice addition to any forest(men)/castle MOC...

I have some WIPs on top of my wardrobe, and everything else in boxes around the bedroom. I want to buy a table to build a large town MOC, but that will have to wait a couple of months.

Awesome, brilliant, amazing work! I was going to say that I love the stairs, but the MOC as a whole is fantastic and I love it all! I saw a picture of your MOC in the Portuguese event, but I couldn't see the whole of it. Now that I did, it is even more impressive than it seemed at first! Great MOC, man - I'm a conformist!!

MOC Collectible minifig Series 1.5 "John Little"
Artifex replied to greg3's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Wow! How cool is that? Your 1.5 minifig came at the right time - I'm just finishing reading Robin Hood, and I'll use your Little John/John Little desing to make one for myself. -
Lets just say I have to read almost each and every one of my posts at least three times before posting... And most of the times I just end up not posting anything. Some people would call that experience, I guess...

A small step for the minifigs, a huge step for the AFOLs! You got some imagination there, don't you? I loved it!
-
I don't know the original set, but yours is truly great! It's beautiful, but it's also very spatious - maybe you should add a couple of chairs?
-
Wow, great work, man! It looks great, and I really like the colours - it does seem like a huge city with some colourful details and the usual not-so-colorful sidewalks and walls.

One of the things I like the most about your Western MOCs (Carbohydrates and Klaus-Dieter I'm poiting mainly at you) is how faithful you are to TLG designs. When someone sees one of your MOCs, he or she just knows it: That's an Western MOC. I love the Castle theme and I usually go around looking for Castle related MOCs, and I see that each MOCer has his or her own personal style. There's nothing wrong about it, that's for sure - after all, that's what Lego is really about! -, but in the Castle theme, no one usually follows TLG designs. You guys do, and your MOCs looks as if they came out from TLG itself. (I'm not impling anything about the Castle MOCers/MOCs, don't get me wrong - even my WIPs don't even share any resemblance with TLG designs, that's for sure!) So kudos to you, guys! I'm a conformist!!

Wow! Great scenes! Great pics! Your city seems so lively... I really like the feel your pics give me - it's as if I were walking around and seeing all that by myself! Congrats!

Has anyone ever combined the Eldorado Fortress and the Imperial Tradin
Artifex replied to Artifex's topic in LEGO Pirates
Oh, I want some photos of them... But good to know they go well together anyway. -
I like it. I think the black roof works pretty well with the yellow brick/white details combination. I think tan would give a more realistic feel, and you could go that way for model accuracy, but we do have yellow-painted buildings in the real world too - maybe you should just build another one, tan instead of yellow, and place each of them in different parts of your Lego town. Keep up the good work - and I'm a conformist!!

Sorry. I meant that I agree with Hound Knight's comment. The bandolier of the 3rd figure is a great addition to the minifig, and those like me, who love these "little details", can spend hours playing with that. Although the other figs are almost just the same as the 3rd but for the bandolier, they seem more accurate movie-wise.
