  1. Thanks a lot for the pics. The two sets look great together!
  2. Since coming out of my GIJoe Dark Ages, I always buy one figure to open up and another to keep closed. But that's GIJoe, which is WAY cheaper than Lego. With Lego, I usually buy only one set -- or more, if the parts and pieces are nice and I plan to use them for MOCc. But I'm not much of a Lego collector -- I play more than I collect. For instance, I display my openned GIJoe in cool positions and stuff, while keeping the closed ones safe. But with Lego, I just open everything up and play with the whole of the bricks. If you plan to collect, I'd advise you to buy at least two oeach set -- one to open and play, the other to keep closed and safe. Remember that when your kid gets of age, he or she can make a fortune with closed Lego sets, wich will have become very, very hard to get.
  3. Thanls a lot, LightningTiger!
  4. LightningTiger... These last pics... Wow! The interiors... The stickers... So... Alive! Great job once again, man!
  5. Great thread! Keep the pics coming!
  6. These. Are. Just. GREAT!!! Awesome sets, great find! Where did you find these? Any links? Amazing sets. I'd buy each and all of them even if thery were released today!
  7. Try getting the Green Grocer or the Cafe Corner. Those are doubtless the two best modular sets, in my humble opinion.
  8. WOW! Now THAT's a super ship! The colors and details are beautiful. The bow itself is spectacular.
  9. Beautiful! Kudos to you!
  10. I could say the MOC looks great, but it actually looks AWESOME! I'm amazed at how you get the spirit of the store and build it with Lego bricks. It feels we are back to the good old Classic Town style, but renewded! Congratz, my friend -- not only for this one MOC, but for all the others too.
  11. Guys, this thread is devoted to the victims and families of all the people in the disasters in Japan and Brazil. For those of you who do not yet know what happened, take a look here (CNN [English language]) and here (RBS, Portuguese language, but the pics speak for themselves). My thoughts and prayers are with you. I wish I knew what else to say, but I'm speechless. All the best, Gustavo
  12. I really like your MOC. My 2 cents are: remember that the old Forestmen sets were sort of hidden, camouflaged, subtle... I think you should try and make the front door less obvious, maybe covering it, hiding half of it (or in other way making it smaller) or perhaps having a smaller entrance altogether. But youo are DEFINITELY in the right path. Throw up a couple of more Forestmen and I'd definitely buy your MOC if it were an official set !
  13. Wow! I always loved MASK! Your models look great!
  14. Hahaha! Great MOC! Awesome vignette!
  15. Now THAT'S a great first post - welcome to EuroBricks! Great MOC!
  16. So I spent a couple of weeks away (I´m moving to another city), and when I come back... Just WOW! LightningTiger, your main street is just GREAT! I was looking at the pics in the first post when my girlfriend came in. She said exactly what I was thinking|: "That's Lego? I thought it was a real town!" -- I guess no more comments are needed huh? I love the decals you are using -- they add so muuch for the realism of the MOC. Zac's Town feel so real! I feel like I could walk its streets right now... Great job, man!
  17. Wow, great MOC! Beautiful building and I love the furniture! It's right by the Grand Emporium, huh? This place is like the perfect chick magnet, LOL!
  18. 11 May??? I was born 11 May!!! Turning 32 in 2011. Oh, Zac was born in May - not 11 May... Anyway, Taurus power FTW! And, LightningTiger, please keep the updates on Zactown coming!
  19. Wow, great job! I was wondering if an army of forestmen would work well collectable Robin Hood style, and it surely does!
  20. I like it! I already commented on the bike shop, which looks great in classic style, and your idea of a post office bank-style is very clever. It would be great to see the classic red (or yellow) delivery van around the post office...
  21. Lovely! That's so sweet from your special other!
  22. Nice castle, I like it. I'm wondering what Phase 2 will be -- and curious about it! Thanks -- good to know I'm not the only one to think that...
  23. Thanks for the review and the many pics, mate!
  24. Thanks a lot for the pics!
  25. I really like the minifigs, the horse and the accessories of the Dragon Knight dungeon and its overall design. But I think the building itself is sort of poor. It seems Lego is trying to save a couple of bucks worth of bricks and plates (compare it to 6062 Battering Ram and 6059 Knight's Stronghold). I don't really like the design of the King's carriage, but it's got some nice pieces and ideas for a carriage MOC. I like the new King print, and I love all the minifigs, horses and accessories. The trees are really a plus to this set. I love all the others sets as they are, and I have no problem with the weapons in the blacksmith set -- actually, I think they are just great! I'm anxious to get all these sets and place them with the other Kingdoms ones and the MMV. I bet Kingdoms is going to have an exclusive set MMMV-style, but I have no clue of what that could be. Thanks for the pics! It's always good to have pics of the new sets!
