Ok, so... Do you guys remember what my last question to Lego was? "@LEGO_Group Question: will the 10223 Kingdoms Joust be the only release for Kingdoms in 2012?" Here is the short answer they gave me: "@gustavobrauner Yes" So that's it guys. No Kingdoms in 2012! Nothing! This is so sad!!!

I just got a reply on Twitter from the Lego Group. I asked: "@LEGO_Group Is the Kingdoms line finished? Or are we going to get some new sets in 2012? I love LOTR, but Kingdoms brought me back to Lego!". The answer was: "@gustavobrauner Hi Gustavo, Castle will continue in 2012 and we just launched a new Exclusive to the line ow.ly/8jG9e". As you guys can see, the link directs us to the Kingdoms Joust. Aware of my mistake, I then asked: "@LEGO_Group Question: will the 102323 Kingdoms Joust be the only release for Kingdoms in 2012?". No answer so far, but they haven't answered me yet...

Thanks for the review. Another nice 2012 Police set. I have the feeling all my feelings about the new Police line last year were wrong. The only flaw I see is the lack of doors in the car, but the rest looks just great. The beehive was just a nice touch!

Thanks for the review. I really like this set. And I'm fond of a big vehicle here. The boat is also great IMHO. When I was a kid I always liked big vehicles like this one and I'd always build vehicles quite similar in size, space and detail. Looks like something from my own (child) imagination, so I guess that's why I like it.

Sorry, but who's that L-A-M-P guy? Is he reliable?

Anyone got a review coming? Please, please, pretty please? Yeah, I saw all of them on YouTube, but I want (need!) an Eurobricks review! -
Hi there! I haven't been able to log and post much, but you are always on my heart. I wish you all and your families a Merry Christmas (whatever your religion is) and a Happy New Year!!! All the best, Artifex P.S.: I know it's not X-mas/NY yet, but I won't be logging in the next few days, so...

As much as I like The Lord of the Rings (just check my signature!), I'd like Lego to have its own Medieval line. PotC is nice, but lacks the originality, creativity and imagination of the Pirate line. I can't imagine any set that is not of the main part/core of the PotC movies, while every Pirate set was part of its own mythology, as small as it may have been. And if there's one thing the old Castle line taught everybody is the importance of "civil sets" (in the sense of "not streamline", "not just another castle/tower/keep"). Castle is still a reference after all these many years (decades!) and Kingdoms is just awesome in it's own right -- the new Jousting set is probably one of the most beautiful (if not one of the best!) sets in Lego history. I (want to) believe Kingdoms still got at least one or two years more. And I believe the new Falcon Knight is a hint of the next wave of Kingdoms sets. I bet something like the Forestmen is around the corner. But I speak my wishes more than anything. I'll wait and see.

Hi guys! This week, after waiting for more than 2 months for the Brazilian mail service to deliver it to me, I finally became the proud and more than happy owner of two sets I was looking for for the longest of times: 6041 Armor Shop and 10000 Guarded Inn I'm so happy I finally got these two sets! I'm nowhere near having a complete Castle/Crusader collection (not near by very, very, very far), but I wanted the Guarded Inn and the Armor Shop so much! Both sets are complete, with the printed flags, black sword and everything else! And you guys would never believe the price I payed for each of the two sets: less than US 50,00 each! Quite the bargain, huh? (I swear it's true!) I got them both on e-bay. PS.: if I had a good camera, I would consider doing a review of the Armor Shop -- but as of now, all I got is my cell phone cam...

I cried. Best Lego set in a long time. Well, with all the good sets out there, I guess this is another great set in not that long a time I love it. I really do. -
3D Printer - has anyone tried it for Lego?
Artifex replied to Artifex's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks for the repplies - very informative. -
Hi guys! I read this news today about 3D printers and I got myself wondering: has anyone got one? And have you tried "printing" Lego? I'm not even sure that would be legal -- and I'm not even sure that would actually work --, but so... What are your impressions on the matter?

Kyle Katarn's starships: The Moldy Crow & Raven's Claw
Artifex replied to Legostein's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow - are we still in 2011? you guys sure? Legostein, your ships just accelerated me to 88 miles per hour and got me back to my teens! Awesome ships! That Moldy Crow seems like it just came straight out of Dark Forces! Which I will always love! Awesome MOCs! -
There's something about these old sets... I don't really know what... But... I don't get the same feeling from looking at cars and buildings of the same age.. Real cars and buildings, I mean... I guess that is nostalgy, after all... Love your town, mate! Hope your kid and you have a great time together - especially when playing with Lego!
-
Wow! Just wow! Great work you two! Amazing! Awesome! Great work! Kudos to the both of you! For some reason I can't see any pic on the MOC pages - is there a reason? Great MOC! Awesome!

Hi there! This just crossed my mind - Have you got any frustrations about Lego? Anything? If you do, feel free to take it out of your heart! I, for one, don't own any Pirate set. That's right. I don't have a single Pirate set. I was always in love with the Classic Pirate ships and sets (and the newest ones too), but I never got one. As a kid, I'd always go for City and Castle sets, but for some stupid unknown reason I never went for Pirate. But I plan to change that now, as an AFOL. Paying your own bills and ebay must count for something. I did get a couple of bluecoats on ebay last year. So I guess eventually my Lego-related frustration will go away. Oh, and I hope I can MOC half as well as people around here. Sometimes it gets into my nerves that I just can't spare the time to MOC or try this or that technique... What about you? Any Lego-related frustrations? Now is thet time! Put it out!

What do you think is the most common/well known Lego brick?
Artifex replied to SNIPE's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I was going for the 1x2 brick or the 2x6, but I'm beginning to think maybe the 2x4 is the most famous after all... -
Although I knew it was a trick, for a moment I did believe there was a mirror there! Great job!
-
A town hall? That will be great! I have a feeling we'll soon see a movie theatre modular style... 2013-2014. It's just a guess. No more than that,

Although I don't own one, I just love this set! Back in the day, I used to play with a jet pack similar to that one of my own creation (the wings were much larger, though, and there was also this "battle jatpack" that was even larger ). Now I HAVE to get one of this! Thanks for the review, Clone O'Patra!

Great cars, man!
