When everybody was thinking there was going to be a return of the Forest Men, the Falcon Knights and maybe even the Black Knights, we get something completely different...

And what do you say of Kingdoms, that appealed to both younger and older fans? These new sets look much more like DUPLO than Lego.

Wow, what a big -- no, what a HUGE letdown. Those sets look awful. Awful. As simple as that. Look at those designs. Blocky and ugly. They look much more like a bunch of left over spare bricks thrown together than something someone actually designed. After the beautiful Kingdoms sets, and the Lord of the Rings ones, this new Castle line is just outrageous. Bah, I was doing so much math to save money to get the new Castle sets next year, but now... On to more LotR. Sorry, guys, but I do feel enraged right now.

I just read some other reviews for the 3DS version and although all of them mention some playability issues, they say it's only a minor thing that won't get in the way. =D

Guys, I just read IGN's review of Lego The Lord of the Rings for the Nintendo 3DS -- and according to it, the game just sucks! You can find the review here. Has any of you got the game for the Nintendo 3DS? Is it really THAT bad? I was looking forward to getting it, but now... =(

I hope Lego brings back the Black Falcons, then the Forest Men and then the Wolfpack. Along with the Dragon Knights and the Lion Knights from 2010-11, we woould have the greatest revival ever!

After buying Lucasfilm (and Star Wars), Disney is now turning its attention to Hasbro (owner of Transformers, GIJoe, Dungeons & Dragons...). Check out the rumours here. If true, what do you think of these news? I'm surprised (and a bit shocked), but I think overall it's good news nevertheless. If only Lego could buy Disney...
