  1. It's looking sharp, LT! You and your kid must be having loads of fun!
  2. Been looking all around for pics... Couldn't find any so far... Grrr!!!
  3. Thanks... I feel a merging coming... I did use the search button but didn't find a specific topic.
  4. Here you go; not many pics, but it's a start -- BrickQueen on Facebook (Sorry, I have no idea where to post this. Can someone please put this therad where it belongs? Thanks in advance)
  5. You are right! I had Bank and Money Transfer in mind when I wrote my post, but those other two just escaped me. According do Wikipedia and Brickipedia, Market Street is a modular building. Quotes: "Market Street (set number: 10190) was the first of the Modular Buildings series to be designed by LEGO fans. It was originally released as a follow-up to Café Corner in 2007." -- Wikipedia "10190 Market Street is a Modular House set released in 2007. It is the smallest of the six sets." -- Brickipedia The difference from a regular modular building is that Market Street was designed by fans. I wonder why there's not been any other modular designed by fans...
  6. Although GRogall skipped Market Street from the two phases he mentioned, there is a pattern there: * An all business building (Café Corner, Grand Emporium) * A business-living building (Green Grocer, Pet Shop) * A "town service" building (Fire Brigade, Town Hall). If that pattern is correct and Lego is actually following it, we may get a restaurant of some sort (as per Jamie Berard's hint), then a mixed business-living building (no idea about what that could be) and another "town service" building (Police Station? Hospital?). I still believe that at some point we'll get a cinema (an improved version from the last Town Plan set) and a hospital (especially because this year's one is so... small [compare it to ANY police/fire station]). As there's a modular fire station, a police station is sort of mandatory -- so we can expect one at some point. An apartment building would be cool, but I don't think we'll ever get an apartment-exclusive modular (my bet is something like the Green Grocer). A bank would be nice, but I can't remember Lego releasing that many bank sets. A big (Town Hall-wise) train station would be nice.
  7. I woke up this morning with a single thought in my mind: where's the review?!?!?!
  8. Niiice!!! Must buys!!!
  9. Wow! Great MOC! Add another floor (between the ground floor and the first floor) and you can have my money!
  10. Beautiful! Just beautiful! I love the look of this set! So much I couldn't really see in that crappy picture I saw in a Lego Store! Thanks a lot for the pics!!! They are awesome, just like this set!!! PS: Has this news (pics!) been frontpaged yet? The set surely deserve it!
  11. Sorry there. I used the "search" function looking for "Winter Village Cottage" and couldn't find anything, so I went along with my thread. You sure beat me to the news!
  12. The cottage looked a little bigger than the Winter Village sets we got so far. As for the blue... It reminded me of the MMV tavern blue. But mind you: the pic was on this low-quality printed piece of paper. Even the Haunted House didn't look that good in the sheet (there were 3 sheets of paper: one for the HH, one for the WV Cottage and one for the B-Wing).
  13. Thanks for the corrections, guys (moving the thread, adding the set number...). I wasn't sure where to post. 'Hope we can get some pics of the set soon.

  15. Trying to get into trains, I have another question: are the flexible tracks good? I mean, value-for-money-wise, is it better to buy a set of nothing but flexible tracks or the set with straight tracks and a few flexible tracks? You can make straight tracks out of the flexible ones, isn't it? But how many do you actually need for that? Or should I just get both sets of tracks?
  16. Sorry to ask, but... Is this for real? Did you really ask Ford's permission? If this is a joke, you got me, bro... But if it isn't, well, I was always much more a GM/Chevrolet guy...
  17. So now that I've triple checked the whole thread, I can go on ans ask this, LT: no pics of the interior of that police station?
  18. Hmm... I'm really curious about the custom stickers you are going to use with the police station, but if it's going to be similar to the old one, I guess I'd like to see the new Ford Dealer, then... Is it just me or do I feel you'd like to work the Ford Dealership first?
  19. I'm curious about both, but I want to see your police stickers I'm curious: do you LDD before building, LT? How big do you think New Mannum 2012 is going to be?
  20. Duh me... I thought they were different building altogether... Now let me just go to the corner of the room and try to get the blush out of my face...
  21. Wow, thanks a lot! They all do seem like toys from different times and ages. I still love both, even if they don't mix that well together. It's curious though: I don't think the skin like colors of licensed minifigs would go well with the old printed patterns (maybe with Kingdoms, but not with Castle). And I feel the opposite is true too. I'm not asking to post pics of it, it's just a comment (I know I've bothered too much already ). Interesting how time goes by and the way things change -- and even if they remain the same (the yellow minifigs) they are still great! Thanks for all the pics, SirBlake! Appreciated!
  22. Everybody seems to love the Emerald Night, but to the eyes of a complete newbie train fan-wanna be like me they look similar. But I've never seen anyone even mention the Hogwarts Express as a good train or a good train model. I know there's no engine, so is that waht puts the HE out of the "train game"?
  23. Another brilliant building, LT! I love how your MOCs come out! Not feeling like sharing the bank interiors...?
  24. You should NEVER put something THAT scary so close to the camera! My first reaction was to close the tab, man! Great MOC! I love it, even if I'm still shacking!
  25. Do you guys think it's still a good call to buy any of the current trains? Apart from the Maersk, I mean -- I'm talking about the Cargo Train, the Red Cargo Train and the Passeger Train (I think this last one is a bit meh -- I can't really say why).
