Generic machinery
jorgeopesi replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Finished with instructions almost done. It has pendular suspension, clutch to avoid breaking gears, cabin doors and functional stairs but the part I like the most is the pneumatic circuit, both pump tubes are connected together so you can use both pumps if you want for the arm or the bucket or only one pump if you want a more precisse move, watching the red ball in the switch you can stop it in the neutral position too. Thank you, I want to finish everything and show the best part for me, the playability and the realistic movement of the loader. -

Well I almost have the instructions I only have to do the part of the pneumatic tubes but the MOC is finished. Less than 1100 parts and I know the rear is a bit empty but I wanted the rechargeable battery to be accesible and the pneumatic autovalves were visible so that they could be neutral if you want. -

I wanted to star with it but I decided to finish first the wheel loader because I know the broyt will take long time. -

I do not know when but someday I got tired of fake engines too maybe a dark fake engine age . That is why I loved Technic but nowadays there is a Model Team Creator Collectable with some functions rare thing called Technic too... -

It seems a joke but aesthetic parts are a real problem for me because they are the opposite to optimization and this answers a little everything. I used 5x7 frames because it is the best way to get a strong arm with few parts and the back part has the receibers and autovalves maybe I could cover it a little more but the back part has so many parts that I can hardly add more, I think the front part has less than 340 of the 1100 parts. You are right. I will try but I do not promise anything . -

Thanks, I will do it, I had a reason for grey ones but is better to use the black ones as you say. -

It will have less than 1100 parts but I think it is OK. -
When do not have a lot of solutions we all arrive to the best one, that is why I like medium or small MOCs, in big ones achieve the correct solution is more difficult because you have a lot of ways.

As you can see I use the same solution and I use an axle 4 with center stop inside, are you using two black 5x7 open frame liftarms in the axles or I see very bad?.

Well you can name it C-model of an A-model that hasn´t got B-model if you want, no problem.

Generic machinery
jorgeopesi replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
My cabin is very easy to remove so I can change it what I want until I finally like. You can hold the machine for the cabin and only 4 axles are holding it. -
It will be B-model when we konw the inventory because somebody will do it, with so many pieces I think it would be easy and more than one version.

Generic machinery

My style is a little minimalistic for what Lego nowadays wants , with this size it would have to have more than 2500 pieces... cabin problems are my signature... -

Another beast is coming, maybe it looks better with a smaller cabin I do not know what to do yet. Now it has 974 pieces I think it will have less than 1100, like the mining truck. -
I like how you mix functional an aesthetic features in your MOCs, it is something I can not be able to do it yet. I like how you use the two pin connectors 3L on the liftarm 5x7 open center frames, are you looking for more rigidity?, when I do the same I plus use the axle 4 with center stop, I know that a regular axle 4 would be enough but being able to do it why not?.

Another step done, at least a robust and aesthetic cabin I like, I am with the instructions and I will put the hood at the end. I have doubts with the color, maybe the arm all in black be better. -
Mining truck II
jorgeopesi replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Well I thought it was better than the old one but I reading a review of a friend that makes MOC reviews it seems much better . You can see it here and some pics of the mining truck finished but with other cabin, he likes more the aesthetics than me , it is a very interesting page to see with an awesome work but in spanish. Review of the mining truck Talking about the D575 I remember it like a real nightmare but I didn´t see another alike yet in functions not aesthetics . Having the new sprocket wheels and pneumatic switches it would be possible to redo it better but I will finish this beauty first. -
