[TC18] BMW M3 E30
jorgeopesi replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
We have a little back part... and a lot of room for a simple gearbox or handbrake system but we also have little time and I see the car better in the table that in my pics... but it always happen to me... Finish details, back, seats... I think I will be late. -

When you have done a very recognizable car in a small size with Technic, not to have many functions it has not to be a problem even for me. I always build with the less pieces I can but I can do it with cars so I like a lot your MOC. -

You are right and in the stairs too . More progress, more angular again with a better front part, the back part is still missing... -

Nice idea to increase the wheel size, I would like to see the best part for me, the steering and drive train. -

More progress I think... I do not know maybe a bodywork wider would be better... as I am not very talented with bodyworks my only way is the trial error... -

One stud less between wheels would be better IMO, you have to fight with than the real one have a huge rear wheels, so you can play a little bit with the scale. -

jorgeopesi replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Good idea but before details I will have to do a bodywork I like enough, as you can see I have space for a big plate in the front with lot of details if I want. -

Yesterday i wanted to give up and I dissasembled everything, today I started again and I see something I like a bit. It is 2 studs shorter because I wanted some kind of deform BMW more nicer but maybe I should go for the real one. -
If is it true we will have to think how to use very specific, scarce and colorful panels for other MOCs when it was already hard to think how to use the old, abundant and in standar colors panels. Lego is prioritizing collection and the simple construction over the play and innovation, it was always like that but now it is worst.

Well I will go for a BMW I am not a big fan of cars but since I was a child I used to like this one and Delta Integrale. It was a challenge to have ackerman steering with front engine but it works and in a strong conjunt. -
