Hip Hip Hurray for Rufus! Well deserved, buddy!

Did we get any further regarding the engraving? Shall I order the 1x8 Maersk Blue bricks (and ship them to Norway - what sounds rather stupid to me ), or is anybody else already handling this issue? I don't want to push it - well, actually I do - because I have the feeling time is slowly running out if we want to arrange something. Sidenote: The first post needs to be updated!

One very good point I was thinking of the last days. It is indeed going to be harder each time to include magnificent new ideas and building techniques. So I'm not disappointed about this set at all. I like the ideas Jamie had building it and all those little "extra's" he put in, be it brickwise or colorwise. Thanks for another great set, Jamie. I'm looking forward to the sets to come regardless of the "WOW-factor".

Thanks for the videos, Bonaparte! Hopefully this set will be available in Windsor. And I wouldn't reject it, if it was discounted "just" for eventees. Once again a great addition to my modular street (CC, MS, GG, FB, GE and my post office MOC). The two parted house is a nice move to freely add this to your own scene. Be it next to each other or seperated. One question though: The dog is new??? Yet another? I thought it was exactly the same dog like in the new city sets? EDIT: I forgot : Well done, Jamie!

Nevertheless sometimes it's good to dig up beautiful MOCs! (Ouch - it has been on the frontpage and I missed it?! ) I love the way you integrated a pub in a normal house. The interior is splendid (jukebox - foosball table (this is the first time ever I heard of that word)!!! ) and the color choice fantastic. It makes me think about buying another MMV to design another modular house as well. Thank you for the inspiration. The only thing I don't like is the first floor. On the outside you simply repeated the windows and decor above each other. Too boring if you aks me. But that's just criticism on high level.

IF matija would take care of the engraving, what color are we going to use? Here's the list of available colors at Bricklink. I suggest dark red or Maersk blue or trans clear.

Exactly my thoughts! And to be honest: I (but that may be just me!) prefer a one-liner, meaning just one 1x8 brick instead of the two we had the last years.

Thank you for the review sidersdd! I didn't expect these sets to pop up so soon. Nevertheless the minifigs and some parts (double barrel pistol) are really cool to call one's own. Good to know these parts will be available at S@H telephone order too. Now let's see what the other sets will look like.

I wondered if there will be any program besides Bonaparte's mulimedia show? Do we have time to arrange extra's or other goodies like name badges or something like that? What about contests? Any bricks we should bring to the event? We used to plan a lot more the recent years, what's up this year? And yeah - prepare to be counted down soon!

I'm looking at the pic of the Super Star Destroyer and the only thing that comes to my mind is: IT'S A TRAP! Could it be this photo is the remains of April Fool in the Lego.com cache? I mean we never got a UCS Star Wars set with minifigs. Why did they change it? At this scale it doesn't make sense at all. And looking at the selection of minifigs I have more doubts: A really weird selection, don't you think? Bounty hunters? Why on earth? No, I don't think this will ever be a new UCS set. Sorry, guys.

Depending on when we are going to arrive in Windsor I would gladly accompany you to London city. Sir Norman Ray can stay in Windsor if he's too afraid of the big city. And I still have to call the accomodation center again to book our room. They replied to my email saying they wanted to take care of my concern, but they didn't.
