Nice early (august, wait- august??? ) review! There is only one good thing about the calendar: The micro toys are a nice source of inspiration. But for the parts and the price - no, thank you! ... I still don't get the point with the naked Santa, but Santa hasn't got anything to do with Christmas, so why should I care?

Minifg collectors series 2 pics and barcodes
Holodoc replied to Superkalle's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks Superkalle and Ras for uploading the codes! I saved them to my cell phone and succesfully got the first 18 copies. 12 to go ... -
I can understand the people not wanting to browse through 60+ pages topics, but both questions (8938 uses the same brick to contain the lights) are explained in this review right here. I even changed the subtitle of the topic to tell there is a way to lighten up the train.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion
Holodoc replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Boooooooooh! In sincerely hope this rumor is wrong! -
Thanks a bunch for organizing this cool raffle for us, Copmike! For me it was a lot of fun looking at the amazing MOCs and participating at the latest moment possible. I hope you all had the fun creating something unusual as I did. And last but not least congrats to the winners!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion

Thanks for the info, K-D! I wanted to ask you about the BARCODE thing, but I assume you can't tell from looking at a catalogue, can you? -
Thanks for the review, dr_spock! (where did I here this name before???) I own the previous model 7470. So I don't know if its worth it buying this one, too. Does anyone own both of them and can show a picture? Thanks.

So many choices! That was really hard. I could have easily chosen 10 items of each poll. I voted for most of the transparent bricks and - see my new signature. The 48x48 baseplate in tan was a great choice as well.

You asked for it: Dedicated to my dear friend Siegfried!

Why? Still thinking about my fruit...

Thanks, Dunjohn for this comprehensive review! This was on my list before you opened this topic, but now I'm considering buying more than one copy. I have 6 of the board games so far, all are played with (some more, some less of course), but this one I will get for the parts.

Thank you for the nice review! I bought the freight train, but I don't plan to buy this one. The price is just keeping me off. I love the overall design though, it's the best passenger train we have seen for the last 7 years. Of course some doors would have been nice, but with the red colour scheme you can easily add them yourself. (Get the doors off BL) Sorry? I cannot follow you here: New pieces? Besides the new "train front sloping base" and the 1835th canopy () I cannot spot anything of interest. Even the minifigs have been seen elsewhere. Yep! As for new/additional cars: Has anyone calculated the price of the pure parts from bag 4? Besides the "Red Slope, Curved 8 x 6 x 2 Double" (part 45411) its all common parts. Shouldn't be too expensive to get more cars.

Sorry - but you have got your (well deserved) five stars already. So it's+

This must be the best way to present the minifig collection. Superb! Nice idea very well converted. I'm thinking of copying the idea for my own shelf... Thanks for sharing!
-
Strange - when I just checked it, it said the same like in the starting post.
-
Exactly my thinking! 8404 is nice, but the Grand Emporium is ... GRAND! You will surely not regret buying it.

Thanks for the nice and fast review of this set, Bachus! So you went to Mönchengladbach? If you'd called me, you could have had a drink at my place, it's only 20 km off MG. So don't forget to call in next time. The set is very nice, indeed. And there are several parts I would love to call my own, beginning with the green bike and not ending with the tram, but 100€! I still have to make up my mind about that set. (Maybe I'll wait for the "buy 3 pay 2" offer.)

That may be due to the fact that Paul with his 2 1/2 years actually is an old kraken. He won't live in 2012 any more...
-
Good to see they changed the badly printed version of the minifig collection (logo placed in the middle of the torso ) to the older standard! *gasp* YES, YES - YES!!! I don't care for the fig (I have plenty of them) - I just want 10 of those tiles!

Yes, a great match. UNtil the 85th minute when a thunderstorm cut our tv signal! We had to listen to the radio to get the final 5 minutes. Then the penalty shot! My nerves! Of course this match was even more all-or-nothing, but the way the dutch team played, they didn't deserve to win. Sorry, I would have liked the Netherlands to win the cup. But not like this. Viva Espana, hurray Paul, well done, Müller!

Lego_Hero, you might want to check your links again?
-
Exactly! Or it's just "Hey, I've opened a new thread - look at me!" Bravo.
-
Yep - that's how the story goes: The better team won. Congrats Spain! It could have been even more goals. But now (I sincerely hope) the Netherlands will blast you out of the way on Sunday. Aaaah - the silence on the streets...
-
Wow - what an exciting last 5 minutes on top of the regular time! (Although I don't understand why the referee let them play so long . I almost got a heart attack.) Not the best match so far, but finally Urugay, the handball team plays on Saturday. Hopefully against Spain... Oranje!

The game is going on already, but I just wanted to point out; Come on - just do it! (while I'm writing Uruguay scored the 1:1)
