  1. Can you specify what your problems are? An alternative is flickr.com. I used to work with brickshelf as well (and it still works), but moved all my newer contect to flickr some years ago.
  2. Hello BBT and welcome to Eurobricks! That is a impressive introduction here, nice that you let us be aware of your way of getting a job! Even better when it is LEGO related! So you are all into Technic? Or is there something else LEGO that sneaked in your collection? From the pictures of your Tractor Trailer it looks like you also have a Creator affinity! Have fun here at EB!
  3. I Alex and welcome to Eurobricks! That was quite a small introduction, maybe this is the reason noone replied yet? Mind to tell us a bit more about yourself? What is your favourite theme at LEGO? Where do you come from? How long have you been playing with LEGO, well, if you actually did? What made you register here? Are you a pure builder of sets, a MOCer or a collector? See? We are very curious people and would like to know about each other! If you have questions using the boards never hesitate to ask! Have a good time around.
  4. Do you have a special relation to Germany? Ancestors...? Yep, the "Mannschaft" was really nice to have, they are still behind my desk on display! So what team are you going with now while the Germans are out? I don't know anyone at 1000steine who builds GBC personally, but still I can ask over there for help. What do you need? E-mail adresses? Or shall I ask on their website? Then it might be easier if you asked yourself - if you are familiar with German of course... But then again: You can also ask and look here!
  5. I'm not really interested in football. I support the teams who play well, with creativity and ideas - and that was definitely not Germany this WC. So I started to support the Belgian team now. (I would also have gone for Switzerland - a lot of Swiss team members are playing in our local football team Borussia Mönchengladbach - but Switzerland is (WS wise) also history now.) I am also member at 1000steine.de - the big German LUG.
  6. Hi kraai! Thank you very much for your answers about the AFOL situation in South Africa! That was really an interesting read and often we people in Europe forget about the rest of the world struggling to induldge in their LEGO passion. Congratulations on being the first rLUG in Africa! Will you be able then to take part in the LUGBULK program? That would make it a lot easier to get parts. Looking forward to your photos in August!
  7. I don't believe you. Everybody has got a more or less interesting backstory! Nevertheless: hi and welcome to Eurobricks! You will find your niche here, I'm sure.
  8. Hi Willi and welcome to Eurobricks! Nice to have a member from a completely underrepresented continent around! What is it like living in Johannesburg and being an AFOL? Is it hard to get sets/bricks and what about prices? GBC modules - I always wanted to build one my own. I have finished Akiyuki's ball factory, but that's it. Did you ever build one your own?. See you around the boards!
  9. Hi Tabes and welcome to Eurobricks! Indeed a nice collection (although I have to admit I hardly see anything). I would love to see larger pictures of your MOCs in an own topic! Looking at the room there should be plenty of space (if you remove the billiard table  ). No, Honestly, I know what you are writing about! My room is 1/4th of the size.
  10. Hi rh1985moc and welcome to Eurobricks! Interested in brutalism? I never heard that term before :look: (but checked online  ). Can you specify what you are doing exactly, especially brutalism LEGO related? I have absolutely no clue: Is that transforming humans to animals, or am I completely wrong? That is a stunning MOC, Rob. And a perfect entry to Eurobricks. When you have finished it, it would be nice if you open a new topic and present it here. Are you from the U.S.?
  11. Hello Subblaffer and welcome to Eurobricks! Don't we all now the way you went through? So now, that you're hooked again you chose an absolute stunning (but not yet finished) MOC! You are going for the Champions League directly! Brave! But even a smaller MOC will do. Inspiration is good, but don't be disappointed with what you can create as a beginner. Now I want to see photos of your wip.
  12. Hello loluwotm8 and welcome to Eurobricks! This is a real strange name you chose, what's the secret behind it? And from what part of the world are you writing? Not, that I am curious... Thank you for the nice words about the Technic MOCs we shhow here. That's how it works: The members show their content here, it all lives from the activity of members. If you have any questions, don't ever hesitate to ask! There is almost always a member around who will help you.
  13. You are absolutely right! Looking at the pic again I found out the ground level is still the ground level, just the baseplates are "flying". Thank you for clarifying it. @Dump: No need to share how you did it. Note to myself: See the local optician...
  14. While your LDD creation clearly shows that you managed to build below ground-level please share how you actually did it. Also good work on your creation as a whole!
  15. Hi dump and welcome to Eurobricks - the best website to spend your time during a recovery! It's interesting to see you are one of the older members here. If you have questions, never hesitate to ask (but you already found out, right? ) I have so many questions: Is this your first attempt to build digitally? Did you ever play/build with LEGO in your own youth? Do you still do so? However, fine to see you online. Have a speedy and painless recovery!. Hopefully we will still see you here afterwards!
  16. Perfect and very nice introduction! Welcome to Eurobricks, enjoy your stay here. I look forward to see more from you and your son.
  17. I'll forward your request to the techies.
  18. Wohoo, I completely missed these lovely sets! Thanks for sharing. And finally I managed to upload my photos of the event here. There are 5 folders to be browsed. Some of the best: Okay, what will it be(e)? I'm not going to look at it! Unikitty parts galore! How to create a four-in-one set! (Or was it five, six...?) Going all-in! Wait a second.... ... here you go! perparing for the epic battle Its all about details... That's what I call clever parts usage! For the one it's fun, for the other hard work. Did you see that? Part I + II That's all LEGO House: Sports and meditation! Thank you all for those wonderful days! And finally the (edited ) group shot:
  19. Hello Cole! I think your post was not the best way to introduce yourself, was it? :look: Look at the views and the posts so far. You haven't told us your name but with your post here you want ... what exactly? I cannot open your link. Looking at the link it looks like you have tried to upload a photo from your computer. That won't work, you know? You will have to upload it to an online file server like flickr or Brickshelf, or whatever. But the link shows your name and that you are using an iPhone. That's all we get to know about you. Besides this post you have not posted anything... May I directly ask how old you are?
  20. Hell Jens and welcome to Eurobricks! I have to admit Brickheadz are a nice idea, but not my cup of coffee. I own exactly one and built another one, but in my point of view TLC is overdoing it at the moment. Then again, it's money saved for other sets. I hope you are not offended by my statement - besdies my rant I still have a wide heart for everybody! :sweet: Your link isn't working any more.
  21. Hello and welcome to Eurobricks, Abrahamandentity! Looking at your posts you have already made a good start here! That is very welcome - please continue to take part in our activities. 12+ sets is a start, are these all of the themes you like most? May I ask how old you are? If any questions occur - never hesitate to ask someone around. The staff will always help you out. You can also send me a PM if needed.
  22. Hi, Marc-David! Welcome to Eurobricks, I'm sure you will enjoy it here. Look around and you will find the sub-forum that fits your needs interests best. Where are you from exactly? Just in case we live next to each other...
  23. Welcome to Eurobricks, Glen! It's nice to see another Kiwi around! I can only encourage you to post here. We are a community after all - which lives from the activity of members. So every input is welcome. But you are also welcome to just look around. Nice collection, btw.
  24. Hello J&J LC and welcome to Eurobricks, the best place to be (online LEGO-wise of course). But that's just my opinion. What a wonderful introduction! I also have never seen a Bangladeshian member around. And I wondered how difficult it would be to get LEGO there. You clarified these questions. Nice to see you already made a MOC of yourself. Be aware though of the 'real' Captain Green Hair!
