  1. Oh I forgot to mention when picking up my MOC I bought the castle chess set 852001 and the set bullet run 8147 Both on sale, BUT at the shop both sets were34,99
  2. Oh, I had a bad week so far! Two days ago I picked up my post office MOC from the Lego shop in Oberhausen. (Btw. expect to see pics of all four modular buildings in my thread in the future ) I feared losing my avatar minifig (that was on display as well) in the bag, so I decided to put it in a small plastic tube wich cap. The whole thing went in my front pocket of my trousers. BIG MISTAKE! We then went further to Starlight Express in Bochum, not far away from the store. When we were back home I realized that I had lost the tube! I checked the car - it wasn´t there. I immediately phoned Starlight Express, they laughed about the minifig but couldn´t help me. I had to phoe again the next day. But still it wasn´t to be found. Maybe some lucky child picked it up. Today I pulled my MOC out of the bag and realized my yellow post-bicycle was missing. You can see it here right in front of the building. Somehow it got lost in the store in Oberhausen. Why in all the world the most expensive part of the MOC, being worth 5$+ at BL? Because it´s too late right now I have to phone the store tomorrow. I will, you bet your head! And if this would not be enough I went to the Legoland Discovery Centre in Duisburg with my two sons today. Yesterday I already bought online tickets for no reason, just to have them before leaving. BIG MISTAKE! Luckily due to the online tickets I didn´t have to wait to get in, the queue waiting outside had to wait 1 hour (!) to get in. When I wanted to enter the LLDC, the lady at the desk, Gabriele (a name to remember! ) did not accept my "if you pay an adult fee we let your child go in for free"-coupon. Because I had bought the other two tickets online! We had a five minute argument, then I decided to pay another f***ing 9 € just to get in. I was soooo upset! Still my pulse goes up to 120 while I´m thinking of it. To cut a long story short: The LLDC was a big disappointment! The word miniland has gotten a whole new meaning now: The space needed for this miniland really was mini! I have seen the 4D movie in Günzburg last year, so did I know the "Fabrik". The dragon ride isn´t worth to be mentioned, when you get in, you´re almost out again. All in all we stayed 2 1/2 hours, there was a huge area to build stuff (that was a surprise), but otherwise there was no interaction. My older son also was disappointed. So all of you guys who want to visit LLDC in Duisburg rethink your decision! And if you go don´t (DON´T!) buy your tickets online if you have a coupon!!! These were my last three days. Come on guys, cheer me up, will you?!
  3. Oh, it does! Klick on the link and search for the word "werbung". It´s fairly at the end of the thread. Nevertheless I believe your information is of better quality than mine. It was too good to be true... Finally OFF!
  4. Over at 1000steine.de member Technix phoned S@H and they told him: this set is going to available in September 2008 on a regular basis. The only difference it will bring to set 4999 are the missing "VESTA" labels. Is this good news, or is this good news? Finally ON!
  5. The right pic for the last post: (click on image to get to the website) This may be for TFOL only.
  6. Assuming choice #2 would mean below average I chose this option. What did I have to see when looking at the results? This was the lowest vote given? Come on, guys! Who has ever seen a red house with a blue roof and green shutters? I you rate this set "5", what would you do with set no. 4996 , not talking about the modular style houses. There is soo much detail lacking and this is soo small. Can I change my vote in "poor"? Nice review, btw. Thank you TheBrickster!
  7. Yep, my thoughts as well! 69 black bricks - come on. The background is astonishing: TLC is working with an AFOL to produce a whole new line. Adam Reed Tucker deserved it, no question. But very interesting, if not annoying, to see that TLC again produces for a rather small market. Is this the new "Maersk"-line with other label on it? They are selling this set in little shops in a local area only. How succesful can this set be? Sorry for all you Americans close to Chicago: I´m not familiar with your skyscrapers and I don´t care for these sets. And I doubt the architecture line will produce nice sets in that scale besides skyscrapers.
  8. I´m not very convinced that this petition will have any success, but hey - at least we tried. Count me in for one copy! Windmill for everyone ON!
  9. Really nice thread, rupi! Sorry for dropping in at that point, I must have overseen this great list. Very nice vignettes , you have made so far, always good for a lough. I don´t agree with #10 and #9, but I´m with you with the giant accessories. Especially the books are...big! Can´t you place the suitcase inside the book? Looking forward to #7-#1! Top 10 ON!
  10. Now this is one of the few LDD-designs, that are both beautiful and economically priced. This is your best job on LDD (so far). Excellent! Classic design, although I fear only 4-wide cars are going to fit the scenery.
  11. This would be very cool if it counts for Germany, too. I plan to pick up my post office in Oberhausen, next wednesday. I´ll let you know how it worked out.
  12. This is the official info: whatever all that (decorative / gimmicks) means... ... and it won´t ship before august! (but I already have ordered mine )
  13. I got this book for my last years birthday. It contains information about buildings techniques you will have heard of before, especially when you´re into MOCing. BUT it shows a lot of different things you can ALSO do with your bricks of which you probably never have thought of: Building large, building, very small, building Legoland style, etc. In other ways: This book is a perfect inspiration. Don´t buy it, if you lack time...
  14. Very good job! Now wait: I´ve got the hobby train and I´ve got an IR baseplate...
  15. It´s nothing more than mentioning Lego Universe to be released in 2009. The rest ist advertising babble. Available in every good sorted book store: ISBN 978-3-89880-860-6 (for the german version)
  16. Hi Morten! Sorry for my late reply, but I´m on vacation right know and the Internet connection was lost during my last session. I hope you had a realy nice day - my little "gift" will get send a little later. August to be precise. +1 ON!
  17. Ha - this is great news! But did it have to be Agents?
  18. You´ll have to be patient, I´m going on vacation tomorrow and I haven´t received the copies yet. I´ll be back on July 10th. Sorry again, Copmike, but your link doesn't work. It looks like you posted a thumbnail-pic of the pdf-file.
  19. Sorry, Copmike, but your link doesn´t seem to work. It looks like you posted a thumbnail-pic of the pdf-file.
  20. The problem is, if it was the official Lego set, noone would be able to afford it.
  21. Thank you soo much, Hinckley! This is a very nice little teaser. Aaah, I wished I would have been there. Sure you guys had a great time. I can´t wait to see more pictures!
  22. I phoned the Phantasia Verlag today: My copies will be shipped today. The premium issue will be released in august.
  23. This is a complete unexpected MOC and it´s great! As IS already pointed out I would have expected the lambs to be good and the pigs to be bad... Very very clever! When are we to see pictures from BrickWorld? You two ON!
  24. Now you´re part of the establishment, hehe! Congrats guys!
