Thank you for the first complete pics, Brickbiz! Can you tell something about the size and the weight of the box (including the bricks of course )?

Look at these detailed closeups of the Taj Mahal! ...just one example. Very interesting to see, TLC uses a lot SNOT technique nowadays: By the way: This would be a good set to start a new raffle, wouldn´t it?

PLEASE (!) take better/sharper pictures and come again. This is annoying.

Thank you for your replies, guys! Right. That´s why I mentioned Brasso in the subtitle. It´s often cheaper to buy a printed torso and remove the printing than buying the single color version. And you hardly see the difference after brassoing. flesh coloured hips? Ah - now I know what you mean... The biggest problem is indeed the limited color variation of the hands.

I finally made it.

After having collectected ALL different 2x4 bricks (well, despite the chrome silver one... ) I was looking for a new challenge. Thanks to Ras (for the idea) and KimT (who provided me with Brasso) I started collecting all different colors of minifigs. I needed 6 different parts: 970c00 legs and hips 973 torso 981+982 arms 983 hands 6362 head and any kind of headgear I faced some problems including trying to buy the needed green goblin torso off Bricklink and then realizing it had black hands (wrong description) and buying a second green goblin for a absurd price having black hands AGAIN (wrong picture)! :skull: Finally I got the green hands at a second hand Lego shop in Duisburg - a true gold mine for little money. Here´s the result: Closeups here. These are the "spare" parts I have - looking for the rest to complete them, although dark green, violet and sand blue doesn´t seem to be realistic, because too many parts aren´t produced in those colors. Too bad there´s no 3626 in darkblue. Next will be dark red and reddish brown. Happy birthday minifig!

Very well made, indeed! They look very colorful for those who live outside the UK, but they seem to be build very accurately. I do know the helicopter from the tv series though. All cars are outstanding, but the heli beats them all. Congrats on your brilliant building skills and thank you for sharing them with us.

Very nice hospital, Basiliscus! I always love to see hospital MOCs, because TLC failed to give us a real hospital with detailed interior so far. I like the unusual shape of the building, you have cleverly worked out the walls to fit to the baseplate. But the best detail is the two patients in their beds (despite they have mixed genders rooms? ). Congrats on that! The bed sheet of the male patient is great. The baby seems to have a hydrocephalus though. Do you have more pics of the interior?

You chose the perfect set for your first poll, Simon! No question this set is one of the all-time-beauties. I rated outstanding of course. I never hat the chance to get a complete copy of this set, but I do own the engine and quite a bunch of monorail tracks. Your very detailed review made me think of getting the whole set some day. Thank you very much for this! I never realized there were so many details included to this set: The snackbar and the telephone cell and all the other nice things. Really strange for a nineties set which often lacked details. The only thing that comes to my mind right now is that the engine looks quite blocky. If the set was released today, TLC would use more of those parts which make a better design imo. And it would fit better to the curved walls of the stations as well.
