REAL midnight ON!
-
Err, no. I just tractor-beamed them into position. No big deal. No no, the windows just snapped in and there they were. I didn´t have any problems with them. Honest. LOL! The best reply so far! Don´t worry. My MOC will be placed behind a plastic window! It looks like this. Actually this is no big thing. I just thought if someone was near that place and would want to see it... And thanks again everybody for all your nice comments and replies!

Normally at ebay.de used Lego parts sell for about 10€ per kg. Of course it depends what´s in the bags. If there are some Star Wars sets in the auction besides let´s say 5 kg "normal bricks" it will sell for more. I´m wondering that this is so much less than what you all wrote.

Mushrooms?
-
I second that. I´ve never seen the main body made with curved bricks. That´s a great idea!
-
That was me! I'm taking 3 of those vouchers to Billund, they are valid for 4 people! I think they are only valid for one season (cause they are called season-pass ) That's pretty cool. It's right besides the park and the airport. Click here for the map EDIT: Dang! It does not work. You get to Billund but not the street exactly. But it's south to the aiport and southeast to the park. 8 ON!

I say open the set and glue the wheels.

Thank you, you're doing great as well! Reading is overrated these days (we had that, hadn't we?). Where's your bigger "8" btw. ? Great - you're IN again! For the Technic seats: You can stack them! I didn't know that before myself. It's not a trick. It's a seatbuild. Now wait till... ...you know when (feeling better Copmike?)

A wonderful creation, Ralph! It reminds me of a vacation 25 years ago in Brighton. I lived in a very small house then. The same counts for your buildings. The CC would be huge next to it. Do you have the CafeCorner or any other modular buildings? I´d love to see you buildings next to them. The interior of your house is great. At first I wondered why they were selling letters, but then I got it: It´s the display panel what they sell! Great! The 1st floor looks very cosy. It must have been hard to push all those details in it. Look at that nifty small stairway! The back is great, too. Nice airconditioning. And I like the way you didn't build the shop on a rectangular space. The corners add realism to it. The big letters on thew signs of all your buildings gives it a feel of Legoland. I like that. Very well done! There is just one little hint: I would replace the grey fish with a blue one. HighStreet ON!

I always love to see new pictures of your beautiful city. I went through the whole topic. I just realized it started when I wasn´t a member of Eurobricks. Aaah, nice story you and Hobbes ( ) were/are telling. The evolution is really remarkable. I wonder that I didn´t reply so far. Now here we go: Your ability to downsize larger scale buildings is extraordinary! You clearly deserve a new title "Downsizer" or something similar. Concearning CC, MS and the cinema it´s not easy to build something similar to another house being restricted in the colours and bricks you can use (rather than building somethin completely new), but everything worked out fine! It all fits so nicely together. The colours used, different styles of houses - I especially like the "art nuoveau"-house, it´s unique and your little modifications made it even better! . I´m not sure about your Harry Potter MOC It´s too big compared to the other buildings. That counts for the two towers especially. What does it represent? If it´s a castle I recommend to have it seperated from the other houses, it deserves more space around it. Or ist it a gate? I would have expected a small clock at the townhall, maybe in the top part of the front instead of the lattice? Otherwise I propose a clock tower standing on its own. Finally there are people missing! It´s always a pleasure to see your creations. Thank you very much for sharing! Small ON!

It´s never too late, buddy. There are still 8 days to go. I was awake for very long yesterday, so sorry for posting no. 8 right now (before midnight), but I´m really tired. Enjoy no. 8 - I had a lot fun building it in my mind first and then doing it in real. Here´s my favourite entry (for now): Thank you and good night!

WOW! Increasing the excitement - do you know what my pulse will goe up to till next thursday? Excellent - my son got exactly that set a few weeks ago. He´s sleeping right now. Maybe I go upstairs and take ... Speed ON!
-
Thank you for your review, metalandi. It didn´t change my opinion on those sets though. 7737 is very neat and I´ll probably get it. Orange flippers!! 7726 is way too big and I´ll skip that one like all the other 8wide trucks so far. But I have to agree with Asuka: The zodiac simply rocks!
-
What a nice scenery! I like the white houses with the red roofs lining up like in a holiday park. The playground is neat, too. I´ve never seen a hospital to play with (including a helicopter - WOW!). Btw. nice big burger on the table. YumYum ON!

Thank you K-D! Especially for you the following might be interesting: I forgot to mention I'm displaying the building at the Lego Shop in Oberhausen (Centro) from the 2nd of June for about 1 month. I take part in the "Window into the Community"-program. I haven't counted the bricks, but your impression misleads you. Have a look at the first photo on this page: It's smaller than the CafeCorner! But you would have to pay a fortune anyways. The interior makes the piece count go high. But if you're willing to rebuilt it: Buy one 4954 and two 4996 and you're 75% there.

OK, you´re a smart guy!
-
It´s a neat set, but no "must have". My hoping, too. If you ask me: NO!
-
Brick no. 15 btw. This is a clear reason to go to peeron.com! *click* Full information ON!
-
Here we go again: 9 ON!
-
Thank you so much, IS and Staudie! It´s always good to be updated about some certain backgrounds before meeting that person (again). I don´t recall the long white beard on Kim though.
-
Thank you all very much for your replies. I´ve updated the brickshelf folder when I realized the roof was a bit underrepresented. Darn - a Toydarian! I should have known. Here you go: There is simply - nothing! It´s just the roof. It's never too late my friend! First I did not want to mention it, but for all you nice guys replying here's some kind of an easter egg: When I was posting pic0040.jpg, that's the first pic you see in this topic, I noticed I had placed two analog clocks. One right above the front door and the other one on the wall of the first floor. This was the only photo where you can see both at once. The problem was: Both clocks didn´t show the same time! So I photoshopped one of them. If you find out which clock I changed, you will win - err, nothing. But I will call you a smart guy!
-
Haha - mister smarty pants! I´m not that dull to put my creations in the folder before it's time to. Does that mean you only have bricks at work? Wait till midnight ON!
-
Mmmh. For me it's vice versa: I liked the 2nd one! We have build in a bag, haven't we? Thx for sharing, Stauder!
-
Very nice! Errr, is that brick bleeding? Excitement is soo ON!
