Nice review, VBBN! I stumbled upon your yellow seat as well. Didn´t you have one already or what made you think it´s new? The big letdown on this set is the big canopy. I would have preferred single bricks for that. And for this truck there is no real need for a hollow canopy - it could as well have been made of solid bricks. Maybe we get another set with different use of the canopy. This is one of the reasons I didn´t buy it so far. And I´m especially NOT interested in another forklift, I have plenty of those... I agree it´s the best one we have seen so far though.

Bargain time! I have been to a local flee market almost next to my house. The last time they didn´t have anything Lego related so I wasn´t expecting too much, but I was wrong. There were two young men who seemed to have cleared their basement. Two paper boxes with (really dusty) Lego! It took me 15 minutes and this was what I fished out of the buckets: Oh - I paid 2,50€ for that!

Thanks for your reply, Joey! I managed to get the minifig hands by buying the complete torsi they came with. It wasn´t a big price difference, by the way. But I had real small orders this time meaning shipping will cost at least half of the amount ordered. You´ll see the result soon!

Hello everybody! I´m in need of different colored minifig hands. The colors I´m looking for are: orange green and darkblue You may ask: Why isn´t he buying off Bricklink? The answer is: There are only few shops who have those hands, most of them in the U.S.. In green it´s just one hand alltogether. If I buy the orange ones from ther german shop I would have to have a minimum of 20$ to be spend. No shop has even two of the hands needed. So if anyone is willing to sell what he has (and is NOT living overseas, sorry, but than shipping will cost too much ), please let me know. Thank you.

The hospital MOC reached it´s final destination. I was allowed to place it in the entrance hall. When the director saw it he told me: "Well, there´s a construction site at one side of the hospital. Can you place a matchbox digger or something like that there?" Matchbox? This is what I came up with: This is the smallest MOC I ever built. I´ll post pictures of the whole scenery tomorrow.

By the way: In Germany we have two feasts in may: 1st of may: Labour Day - a friday 21st of may: Ascension Day - a thursday so every time around these dates would be very easy to get off (work/school/university, whatever). I would prefer the later date.

Even more ironically your spaceship is not SNOT, it´s just studless. SNOT means the studs are not facing upwards but "looking" to the sides (or downwards). A good example for that is 007´s boat (in his sig). Guess you have to update the title of this thread.
