    City '09?

Yes, I was quite amazed as well. I didn´t expect the camper to be openable. And I have to admit I´m not too overwhelmed. I would like to see a pic of the interior now. The bus... ... ... I - must - have - this! Too sad I cannot build it now. The front window is a new piece. But I love it! Funny to see the garage is made in the same color scheme (white/orange/black) like the tiny turbos gas-station in set 8135
  2. Congrats to the winners, unfortunately it wasn´t me. Thank you so much, Copmike for starting this great raffle! Maybe we will see some of the polybags in Günzburg later this year? *hint, hint - CM!*
  3. Thanks to all the people replying so far! The costs of the rooms will be about 60-70 euro per night, per room - with 4 people fitting in one room. So if you are coming for 2 nights it will work out to cost you 30-40 euro (room only). Add some more cash for the food and for the entrance fees wich can be found here. So it all depends on how long you are coming, how often you want to enter the park and how much you eat, but I would calculate around 100-120 euro all together (sorry, no bricks included ) And we haven´t talked about CM´s specials... One more thing: The members who are willing to travel with their relatives, do you want to stay with us or would it be a problem to accomodate you somewhere else?
  4. ... and downloaded! Thank you so much for telling, beatnik! Now I need time to read...
  5. The only thing is the expression on the face of the street rocker. I wouldn't give him any money with that grimly face. (Well done!) And polywen: I love your mecha! Great!
  6. Let´s see how this is going to workout. I´ll let you know in time.
  7. Hi folks! May is getting closer and I had a first look to sites that offer accomodation for our event. I´m getting a little nervous as there are many attendees this year. 24 is quite a bunch and with those +10 people we might get problems in living all together. The rooms at kirchenbauerhof (where we stayed two years ago) are very limited already and it´s not going to get better as you can think. So I would like to ask everybody on the list below, if he/she/they still is/are going to participate in our event (21st - 24th of may). alex 54 ------------------ FRI-SUN (2 nights) *PAID* Bonaparte----------------FRI-SUN (2 nights) *PAID* Captain Green Hair------FRI-SUN (2 nights) *PAID* CopMike ------------------WED-SUN (4 nights) *PAID* Dennimator + 2 --------- THU-SUN (3 nights) *PAID* Dfenz ----------------------FRI-SUN (--) DJ Force + 2 ------------- FRI-SUN (2 nights) *PAID* Holodoc + 1--------------WED-SU (4 nights) *PAID* jipay + 1 ----------------- FRI-SUN (2 nights) *PAID* KimT -----------------------WED-SUN (4 nights) *PAID* Kippy0001 ---------------- SAT-SUN (1 night) Morten -------------------- WED-SAT (3 nights) *PAID* Quarryman -------------- WED-SUN (4 nights) *PAID* Ras --------------------- WED-SUN (4 nights) *PAID* zorro3999----------------FRI-SUN (2 nights) *PAID* Kpt. I know that is not much time, but I´ll PM everybody on the list who hasn´t replied until next wednesday (feb. 19th). Shortly afterwards I would like to book the rooms . Thank you.
  8. So here we go with my entry: That´s myself exploring new terrain. "Stardate 78542.2: Some wonderful but strange aliens are to be found on this new planet. I´ll have to fill the starfleets database with all this new information and then I can transfer back to the ship." First I wanted to build something according to the german word "Rock" (=skirt). "I was young an needed the money..." But I thought this idea would not make it into the contest, would it?
  9. First I wanted to say: What stupid idea! But looking at the replies so far, the idea grew on me. So I finally say: What a great idea! (Thanks ricecracker!) Although I can´t believe this was my first post: Sidenote: It took me 15 days to write my first post and incredible 50 days to introduce myself.
  10. Dang! Late again... Hope you had a very happy birthday, guys!

Both quotes have to be answered with "yes" - meaning there will be no 4-wide trains and no up/down tracks like the ones seen in IJ that will work with the new trains. I´ll add the few pieces of information I know about the new trains later to be released this year. TLC will use the old track geometry. That means you will still be able to run the waggons on the track without redesigning the track width. Of course you cannot run the 9V-motors on the track as the new track will be of plastic only. TLC spoke of the possibility to use new curved angels... We´ll have to wait how this is going to work out. The new PF-train-motors will make use of a new rechargable power unit that will fit in a six-wide car. As far as I know nothing is known already about the control unit. But I highly doubt TLC will use the "old" IR-remote controller of the sets 7897 and 7898. Rumours are that there will be more functions (lights, horns, etc.) within the PF than in the past. The most interesting fact is, that TLC IS able to prevent pic leaks this time! We haven´t seen anything yet. Nevertheless I´m eagerly awaiting the new sets.
  12. This is exactly the answer I have expected. Envy SO on!
  13. I really like your bus, sens1992! You´ve managed to build one, before we get the first real buses by TLC later this year. Like the others I would prefer a glass back window, but your choice is great as well. Did you think of building it in real already? I´d love to see pics of the real thing. Thanks for sharing your creation.
  14. Sorry to hear about your disappointment. I, like you, would have expected a lot more than what you described. But I really appreciate that you reported about the show here. At least this may prevent other AFOLs to go there. So thank you anyway!
  15. Nice review for a small but nice little set, liquidcross! This will be one the few sets I´ll be buying this year. Good to know TLC added a small DSS, but they could have let out the front sticker and could have made it from bricks... But the model itself would lack much if you just refrain from putting the stickers on. One thing: It would have been nice to see a pic the farmers back. As Rayman said, this is one of the beautiful sets, where the minifig comes with a double sided torso. I rated it "4"
  16. Very well done, luminosa! But how is the mini-7627 looking? I can´t imagine it being better than the Galaxy Explorer. I´d like to see pics of your other creation as well.
  17. Happy birthday, Asuka! ... and PICS ON!
  18. Hi LegoWilli and welcome to Eurobricks! Forget about the others - as you can see I´m like you from Germany (in the far west of it) and the only one *cough* who will be able to read and understand the material you offer. Drop me a PM (in german if you like ) about your printed stuff. Thanks and have fun around the boards!
  19. This is absolutely astonishing! And although I´m not so much into Star Wars - this is a creation I want to rebuild. Very, very clever. It took me some time to realise how you made the head.
  20. Happy birthday, Hobbes! I´m late, but I would be glad to see you in Günzburg again this year. All the best to you and the rest of the family.
  21. There has to be one, who´s even later than the rest. Happy birthday, Aredhel! (Greetings to Ras as well on saturday) 25- if that´s no reason to celebrate then I can´t help you... Sehen wir uns in Günzburg im Mai?
  22. Thank you for your review, Sinner! What do I have to vote, if I got 2 copies of that great set already?

May I kindly ask you to update the first page of this thread (and the description in the subtitle) with the contents of this folder? (they were posted in different threads already and I miss them here)
  24. I´ve got the older little technic tractor in green. The only thing I dislike in the new one: Why didn´t TLC use lime 1x4 technic plates instead of white ones?
  25. My vote goes to Dr. Brick! Nice idea and excellent execution. It´s hard to get the waggon back on track if it loses contact, though. Thanks for the other creations as well! If I just have had time to participate...
