  1. Well, you are accommodated in the Presidential suite! 3 people in a 4-persons-room. You can´t have all - space and a cheap price... Just kidding! I have changed the reservation to the following: WED-SUN: 1 x 4-persons-room (room 2 - D-room (dansk-deutsch)) 1 x 3-persons-room (room 1 - Viking room) THU-SUN 1 x 3-persons-room (room 4 - Dennimator-room) FRI-SUN 1 x 4-persons-rooms (room 3 - BeNe without Lux-room) 1 x 4-persons-rooms (room 5 - DJForce-room) Note: You don´t have to pay for your child! 1 x 3-persons-rooms (room 6 - french room) SAT-SUN Kippy stays in room 2, Morton will leave on Saturday 3 examples what to pay: Ras: 29€ x 4 nights = 116€ Dennimator: 29€ x 3 nights x 3 eventees = 261€ Zorro: 24€ x 2 nights = 48€ plus DJForce: I have to admit I´m not sure about your fees... Please send me 24€ x 2 nights x 3 eventees = 144€ I´ll check that when we are at the Hotel in may. I hope this will answer all your questions.
  2. Nooooo! FRI-SUN means you arrive friday, stay 2 nights and leave sunday... The problem is: Somehow I expected you to stay 2 days - and that is what I noted on the first page of this thread. Why you may ask? I don´t know. 3 days ago you told me you wanted to stay 3 nights - and I didn´t memorize this I assume you also didn´t realize in my summaries, that FRI-SUN would mean 2 nights only. I´m currently working on this.
  3. DONE! This is what I booked: 2 x 4-people-rooms from WED, 20th - SUN, 24th (room 1 and 2 according to this post) 2 x 4-people-rooms (rooms 3 and 5) and 2 x 3-people-rooms (rooms 4 and 6) from FRI, 22nd - SUN, 24th *phew* I just spent 1485 €, so let´s talk about your money now! Haha, you hoped I would forget it, don´t you? Please send me: If you live in a 4 person-room: 24 € per night If you live in a 3 person-room: 29 € per night I don´t need to claculate this for you, do I? My paypal adress is: ebay*at*hauertz.de (please exchange the *at* with @) Now keep it comin´! Note for those who still want to join us and haven´t replied here: The "official" accommodation arrangement is closed. You´re on your own now.
  4. Good evening! While organizing the accommodation for our upcoming event I had to work on something to distract me from the stress. Here´s what came to my mind: Working on my own family in miniland scale! I started last weekend with the pure figs (so they all wear what they did last sunday ) Elias, myself, Angelika and Lukas from the left to the right. But the family was not enough... they all should be doing something. So I worked on that again with my older son: I don´t think I have to describe what Lukas is doing in his spare-time (well, most of the time I have to force him to ) Elias with his favourite toy. My wife works in a clothing store. (We didn´t want to make her work in the kitchen ).The white thing to the right is a mirror. This could be a pic what I´m doing right now. All together now! (Click on the pic to go to the BS-folder) Thanks for looking! :
  5. Very interesting techniques, Carbohydrates! (funny name, btw) I bookmarked this page.
  6. Important Update! The booking website only allows bed&breakfast! With breakfast being 9€ per person. It wasn´t clearly stated when I tried to book and I had to ring the hotel when I saw 768€ instead of 480€. But the nice employee helped me out. This will result in the following fees: If you live in a 4 person-room: 24 € per night If you live in a 3 person-room: 29 € per night I don´t think this is too bad, although I hoped to get it cheaper. I send PM´s to all eventees, if I don´t hear anything until tomorrow I´ll fix the thing. (I´m slowly getting tired on this ...)
  7. ... and of course the rattling boxes we all love so much! Happy birthday WhiteFang!
  8. Cool! Then erase the quotation marks in my last post, room 6 is french now! And I´ll book tomorrow - for all of us!
  9. Excellent choice! But YOU didn´t book already? Please let me know. Question 2: Do you want to stay with Alex? (Probably "NO", I know, but I
  10. Why did I expect such a comment? You can bring some pirate sets to decorate you room instead. Note that Jipay prefers to stay in the Legoland village. We are in the Eurohotel. (see map below) I´ll take care of the booking as soon as I know the number of eventees and the dates they´re attending. (Just one person missing) You don´t have to book the entrance tickets right now. They are NEVER sold out at a Legoland park. Where have you been exactly in Copenhagen??? I managed to get a couple of those: 20% off every single (32,50€ -> 26€) or two day (not advised) entrance fees! After the first day you may change the one day ticket into an annual pass (paying the rest). That helps to save at least some money. Official statement: "By the way: one more top tip for all those who cannot make up their minds at once: if you visit LEGOLAND Deutschland with a normal 1-day ticket, you can then deduct the ticket price from the purchase price of an Annual Pass bought on the same day!" The official Legoland website also offers to renew your annual pass. Normally an annual pass is 55€, online it´ll cost 45€ to renew it. Find your own cheapest way. Or if you have other oportunities to lower the fees, let us know! EUROHOTEL GÜNZBURG Spielplatzstraße 6, 89312 Günzburg, Deutschland Tel.: +49 (0) 8221 206 66 - 00 Fax: 0049 8221 20666 - 100 Email: info.guenzburg@azimuthotels.eu (don´t you ever follow the links I provide? ) As I believe I have to pay the hotel in advance, I ask you to do so as well. The easiest way is paypal I think - and it is how we made it last year. I´ll tell you the fees and you´ll send me the money. Stay tuned for this. First summary of beds needed WED-THU: 5 members (CM, Ras (+1?), Quarryman, KimT, Morten) THU-FRI: 7 (Holodoc+1) FRI-SAT: 18 (+ Alex 54, Bonaparte, Capt. GH, Denimator +2, DJ Force +2 1/2 , Zorro3999, Capt. Kirk) SAT-SUN: 19 (+ Kippy001) + 3 attending, but not living with us: Jipay + GF and Dfenz ...making a total of 16 members and 22 eventees. Yahooo! For all the eventees, here´s a map which shows how close we´ll stay this time: Note: The satellite pic is quite old - the park isn´t completed and the streets have changend at some places . The direct way is less than 1 km (if we could fly). Now I need our special member not shown in the list above to decide when he will join us and I´ll book the rooms. For the special "who is accommodated with whom?" - stay tuned. Event ON!
  11. I just checked IKEA´s website: Too bad it IS 4,99 in Germany. And for the sig - I´m working on it (it needs a brighter background as well). Thanks for the compliment!
  12. Great! 3,99$ making 4,99€ (at least in Germany). But otherwise it´s a nice solution.
  13. This is the map of the village: I don´t know if the restaurant is good or bad though. For other places to eat, you will have to go a bit (by car), because the legoland is outside, mmmh everything... The pizzeria you wrote of was close to Kirchenbauerhof (wich was 5 minutes by car from Legoland). UPDATE: I checked the Kirchenbauerhof website again: We have a problem! NO rooms are available for 20th and 21st of may! So either we look for a different place or we start somewhere different and get back to Kirchenbauerhof (I really liked that place you know...) on friday! The Eurohotel is cheaper than I saw on first sight! And it
  14. Hi Erik! Welcome to Eurobricks, the friendly Lego place. I´m almost from the Netherlands , as my home town is very close to Venlo, but eastwards. Splitting your Lego? Nooooo! That´s a classic: Seeing the new sets and buying older ones after having had the dark ages. Excellent choice! I hope we will see some of your creations around here (if you build some...).
  15. Thanks for the info David, BUT the rooms at Kirchenbauerhof are 60-70€ per room/per day for 4 persons. I think we go for these... But I will have the eurohotel rooms in mind for the "overflow option". That makes me rethink my arrival. Maybe I´ll be there on wednesday as well...
  16. Thank you Bonaparte, my emperor! PM send to alex. I´ve got the names from the thread you mentioned. 1st post. 3rd and 10th entry. @ kippy001: Of course you´re still invited and we are happy to have you around! If you want to stay with us, please let me know, the rooms are not booked yet. Please look at these two threads to know what we are exactly doing on the events: *click1* *click2* If you have any further questions, let me know! Ich kann es Dir auch auf deutsch erklären... @ Jiipay: I checked the website of legoland village. It seems to be made primarily for families. The price point is a lot higher than at Kirchenbauerhof! We would have to pay at least 250€ for two adults... But as soon as I know the exact number of eventees, I will phone them to ask for special offers. Although I still doubt that legoland village with discount is cheaper than Kircehnbauerhof. @ApophisV You´re always welcome, buddy!
  17. Exactly my thoughts. Very clever! You didn´t come to the idea with the first Emerald Night pics, did you? EDIT: First read the whole topic... Ok, you have been inspired. I´ve got to rethink my 6-wide train cars. 8-wide seems a lot better.
  18. If there is ONE good reason to step away from LEGO, this has to be it. And I would like to add: If you cannot combine both aspects, you surely have made the right decision! I can´t follow you here. As Sinner already pointed out, in 2008 and 2009 we are given great models. (Not all of them of course). It was nice to have you here and if you ever feel like coming home you will be very welcome! Take care and God bless you.
  19. Would someone who knows the following "members" please explain this: I think I shorten the list on the first page now...
  20. A very happy birthday, Ras, my old, err - young friend! Oooh - I wished I was 35 again. (not really)
  21. What dates exactly? I suppose it will be FRI-SUN? If you need transportation aid, please PM me or post here. Maybe I can work something out for you.
  22. Exactly my thoughts! Not only about Hobbes (is there a chance to see you in Günzburg???), but I envy all of the Eb members who were at the fair. Darn, I have to get one of those power miners polybags...
  23. This is definitely on my (small) to-buy-list this year! But I wouldn´t rely on the steering. Especially the creator cars faked with their box-pics. I remember 4939 . The front wheels looked steerable, but they weren´t.
  24. Holodoc

    City '09?

Yep, it´s quite the same. But the armoured car action set had 3 (three!) chrome gold tiles in it, making me buy three copies of that set (my most bought set ever). It came out 2003 by the way. I agree with you. But nothing a little mocing couldn´t solve.
  25. How could I miss this fantastic buildings? Most excellent work, aliencat! The last years buildings were great, but your Mindcorp Building really beats all. I´m speechless. I sure will use some of your building techniques in upcoming modular houses of mine. You are a fantastic source of inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing your work here!
