Oh wow, fantastic. It's accurate, it's cute, it's... well, Meca One. Nice work.

So, the Tumbler. Well, it is still a preliminary, and as a preliminary, it does look quite good. Not quite what I was hoping for, but that doesn't matter, because when I get it (when, not if), I'll just MOD it. It's a hard vehicle to replicate, especially if tyhey're keeping it to this particular price point, whatever that may be. The ice cream truck isn't bad either. The Penguin Sub isn't bad either. Nice and streamlined. The jetsub for Robin isn't quite as good as I was hoping, but again, easily MODed. And we get more Penguins, along with a Robin torso that I can use for a Good Soldier epitah. Interestingly, the box is TDK design, and the Bats in the corner is the BB/TDK Bats, so does that mean that we might get a BB/TDK suit in the finished set? I certainly hope so. No Gordon yet though :'-(

Never mind that, I'm 17 and how could I not like the idea of "a gigantic truck bristling with weaponry?" So, the set itself. Well, like I said, it's a big truck, and it's a mobile HQ. Now, I love Mobile HQs, always have, so that's a good thing. Second there're quite a lot of vehicles in there, so that's also a plus, especially if they all actually fit inside the truck (apart from what looks like the bad guy obviously). Third, it looks like we get purple. Purple is a good colour. Fourth, I quite enjoyed Alpha Team, so if it's somethoing similar, is that really such a bad thing? Now, I agree, this set isn't absolutely fantastic. But it's not that bad, and like people have said, we've only seen this one set. If the smaller sets are more of the same, but 'better' then it should be good. Besides, it's got a cool logo. ;-)

Pretty nice. I've not seen the film, but I supose that doesn't really matter. It's still an awesome MOC, not least because of some of the detail. And I have to agree with you, the blood is pretty creative (if slightly sadistic). I mean, look at this. And the landscape through the open door is pretty nifty too.

Happy Birthday, guys.

Onslaught looks interesting. I mean, one picture isn't much to go on, but it does look good. I think I mght have to search out the TF:Animated clip-thing, as I've not watched it yet... :-$

I (finally) started my entry yesterday. Shouldn't take too long to finish, as it's really just the interior and the roof. Although there might be a few structual things I might change as well. Some nice entries there as well, guys.

There's also a Twilight Squadron for both the Rebels and the Empire. But if we're assuming it to be CW, then it propbably is something to do with 'Operation: Twilight.'
-
It's original, I'll give it that. And it's not a bad interpretation, either. It's just, well, for me at least, it's not really the Joker.
-
Yeah, that one. Something like that might be nice. Unlikely, but nice. But Batbrick's right, Robin's bikes have sometimes been referred to as Redbirds, and tend to be motocross-type things, as opposed to the more 'street bike' Batcycles.

Speaking of TF: Animated, there're some new pictures which have been released regarding some of the characters: Sentinel Prime, Swoop, Ultra Magnus (vehicle) and Megatron's head (apparantly) Jazz, Sentinel Prime, Swoop, Ultra Magnus and Slag Voyager Starscream toy prototype Voyager Prime toy prototype In comics news, we're getting Spotlights for Grimlock, Arcee and Mirage, aand a Movie Sequel series is on it's way. Take a look at the cover for the Movie sequel. Mmm, homage... *wub*

With discussion happening here.

Yeah, that's a point, it would probably go in another set, so TLC could get their money's worth out of it. As for an armoured Batsuit, have you read As The Crow Flies? How cool would it be to see the giant armoured Batsuit he uses to battle the Scarebeast in a set? True, it's not a Batsuit per se, but still. As far as other Batsuits are concerned, I'd like to see a Dark Grey suit as well, and maybe a glider-suit, with an oversized cape that fold out to becomea glider. Or, what about an oversized caope that Bats can wrap round himself, and blend in with the shadows, doing his dark, brooding thing... And the BB/TDK suit you mention as well. Actually, there's the car Redbird from a few years ago. I know it's not really been used recently, but it's still an option. And wouldn't it be nice to see a One Year Later Robin, in the new red and black suit? No, and you know why it is , don't you? It's because we are Batfans. We know all the characters, the comics-events, the locations, etc. And the more Lego gives us, the more we go "why haven't we got..." If we were only casual Batfans, we wouldn't care what we haven't got. That's why we want a green Ivy, and a trenchcoat/fedora Joker, and more Batmobiles, and some of the more obscure villains, a proper Gordon, an Oracle and so on. You know what would be good though. We'd never get them, mind, but some Batcave add-ons would be nice. Like, extra rooms and platforms that we could MOD in. For example, a Kryptonite vault, the last Lazarus Pit (bar the others) that may or may not be there, the 'Fallen Soldier' memorial, the T-Rex and giant penny, the med-scanner, the secret tunnel entrance that Supes uses, the staircase and grandfather clock, etc.

Agents. Well, it could be interesting. So, I'm guessing it'll either be a Bond-type thing, or an Alpha Team-type thing. Either way, it could be good. But I can't really say without pictures. 'Jetpack Pursuit' sounds interesting though. New Impulse sets. Only four this time, unfortunately. Still, the Coast Guard is a little different (i.e. not police), and the troll set should be great. It's a pity there isn't a dwarves set though. 'Batman 4' missing certainly adds crecibility to Batbrick's 'mystery extra set' prediction. 'Hypersonic Operations Aircraft.' Well, I'm sorry, but the word 'hypersonic' has done it for me. :-D Homing Spider Droid, eh? Nice. And as for 'Twilight' I'm wondering whether it's either this or perhaps something based on this. And I'm actually quite a fan of the Droid Gunship.

Hmm, intriguing. Is this the first news we've heard on this or have I missed something? Still, it's kind of hard to judge without pictures.

And could I trouble someone to add in my Bat-MOC Goody Bags part 1 and 2 as well please. Like Batbrick said, it's okay if not, but if you could it'd be much appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah, so am I. I definitely remember reading it, as I remember telling my dad that they were apparantly keeping Gordon bac till they could perfect a trenchcoat. It mentioned Harlyey as well, saying that they were waiting till they could make a jesters hat. Maybe Freeze could have some sort of sledge or a ski-mobile. As for the Bat-fig, I'd quite like to see a white insulated Snowsuit. I'm pretty sure he's used one before. If not white, then at least bulky and snow-orientated. I suppose the Scuba jet could be some sort of jet that can convert for underwater travel. It's certainly not implausible. Look at the All-Star Batmobile or the Batboat from a few years ago. You know, the more I think about it, the more I want a Bat-Pod over a regular Batcycle. It just looks so cool. Of course, the Hammer Truck could be the same size as the truck from the Batmobile set, with a large hamer stuck on top. But like you said, it's Harley. Actually, the other fig could be Ivy couldn't it? Giving their, ahem, relationship, it's certainly a possibility. Ah, now, if we get a proper trenchcoat to go with Gordon, maybe we'll get one in purple for the Joker. Throw in a puple fedora as well, please. I think you're on to something with a 'bit of building', even if it's just a wall or something that the Tumbler can smash through. Hopefully, we'll get a BB/TDK Batsuit to go with this, or at the very least, get one somewhere. The one from Arkham? Yes, but it's staying as a bike for Nightwing, seeing as how he has used one, and would have no other transport otherwise. Actually, that's something I'd like to see, a Redbird for Robin.

Have you watched it yet? A true Trans-fan would have... ;-)

Just to say, I got a TF Movie BB t-shirt and a TF Movie calendar for Christmas yesterday. Both are pretty nice, in fact I'm wearing the t-shirt now. Anyone else get any TF-related stuff?
-
Erm... I don't actually know. I assume so, but no one can actually reach the lights to have a look, and that's even with tables and chairs. Still, we've apparantly been promised a new board from somewhere/someone, so hopefully, we might be able to rig a bit more up to that. Anyway, today. Well, I got up late *cough*11:30*cough* then spent what little was left of the morning finding somewhere to put my Christmas presents. I had to rearrange my entire DVD collection just to fit the new ones in! And I've got 6 left out because I can't get them to fit |-/

I, unfortunately, didn't get any Lego. I'll make up for it by getting some of the '08 stuff when I come across it though. But I did get some nice non-lego stuff, which I may as well list seeing as how I've nothing else to say. I got: [*]Heroes Season 1 on DVD [*]Heroes: Online Comic Graphic Novel Collection vol.1 [*]CSI Season 3 parts 1 and 2 [*]A selection of humerous books, including but not limited to "The World According to [Jeremy] Clarkson vol.1 and vol.2" and "Dumb Britain" (a selection of real answers people have given on quiz shows that are just so incredibly stupid) [*]

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...
Brainbox replied to The Kid's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Put it down to a distortion of time due to the temporal flux of two incarnations of the same being and two TARDISes existing at roughly the same point in time. Actually, that sounded quite convincing... EDIT: Oops, almost forgot, Series 4 trailer aired after Voyage of the Damned last night. Right, first, the blonde woman with the glasses. When she's brandishing the Sonic Screwdriver, is that the Doctor's or... her own. The Rani? The two eyes at the end I'm guessing belong to a Sontaran. Giant wasps... *shivers* And those soldiers with the red berets, they're UNIT right? I'm sure they are. Cool. -
Two, possibly three. The 10th, the 4th and possibly the 5th. Yeah, I think I remember that. I think I may have read it here somewhere. I can't seem to find the exact words though, so you might want to have a look yourself.

Quite alright. |-/ It's only 6:30PM Christmas Eve here, so there's another few hours to go. Still, I'll probably watch a film tonight, pass some time. Maybe text my friends, see how excited they are. Honestly, we're 16/17 and we're as excited about Christmas as we were 10 years ago. Interestingly, I've sent more texts in the last four days than I have in the last four months. Probably because I get on better with my new friends than I have with any others. Jack of all trades, master of none! :-D I do like to get involved in lots of things though. Except sport, no sport. As far as this lighting is concerned though, it's only limitted by the slightly crappy equipment. There're six lights, and three of them are red. As for the sound, you can't stamp too heavily near it, or put anythnig down too hard on the table, as it jumps the CD. :-|
