  1. I can guarantee that that guy is the Ventriloquist. I think he's just a bigfig for the purpose of making him look way tougher than Peter. That would work, given that that body is shorter than a short-legged minifig and still has poseable arms.
  2. Nice idea! What do you plan to do for Ra's's hair?
  3. Where'd you get that torso? And can you describe how much of the cane isn't purist? I just adore that fig and I really want to make a flesh version for my own, at any cost.
  4. Well even then, we've gotten a few legit villains in the show now, enough so to at least warrant a decent set. Deathlok, Graviton, Blackout as of tonight, and I'm sure there are more that I simply didn't catch. They've got a good setup for an unofficial set base on the show along the lines of the Spidey-Trike vs. Electro set. They may have to make the villain a little more comic book-y and only use Coulson as an actual named Agent, but I'll take what I can get as long as we can repurpose some parts into a purist version of the team.
  5. B'wana Beast is awesome! God, I really wish those parts came in flesh-tone!!
  6. I heard someone talking about how DC's got this weird initiative-kinda thing to get Deathstroke to be a big deal. I think they may be trying to move in on the Deadpool front, or maybe they just think he's a badass that the public will love once they give him a chance. They should really focus less on trying to make him a villain and more on making him a bounty hunter/assassin. That angle is so much more interesting. Either way, though, I think we'd all love to see a Deathstroke figure come to fruition, and it doesn't seem too unlikely. It might serve them well to do a set kind-of-but-not-really based on Arrow with Green Arrow and Black Canary fighting Deathstroke. LEGO should really notice these opportunities to take advantage (in the best way possible of their two biggest audiences: the kids and the fanboys. When you can hit both birds with one stone, why not just do it? You can tell they've tried that once or twice or the obvious nods to Tim Burton's Batman movies and the classic Doc Ock set, but you're not going to hurt your market any by doing it more often. If nothing else, a variant Batsuit based on an existing design in each wave (and not the lame action figure-y variants like Arctic Suit Batman and Diving Suit Batman) would suffice for me. Give us a few Spidey variants along the same guidelines and I'll piss my pants. It's not too hard to do this and let both sides win.
  7. I don't wanna be the guy that starts another huge arguement, but given it all feeds back into the sets and what we might see in the future, I say it's worth discussing here on occasion when there is news regarding it.
  8. Are they of good video quality? If not I'll just wait it out to see them on TV. Isn't it odd, though, that Cartoon Network would take a show that's obviously popular enough to be revived and already has 6 new episodes to air and, instead of putting it into a block that essentially was made for this show, only run it at midnight? It's not like they'd be sacrificing a new show's timeslot, since it would just take up one rerun of Teen Titans Go!. Also, why haven't we heard anything about a new DC Nation show? Is Cartoon Network just giving up on the block entirely because they can't make Batman into another Adventure Time? And to think all of this could've been avoided if they aired DC Nation on Friday nights instead of at the crack of dawn on Saturdays.
  9. Where did you hear all of that from? I know it's coming back to Toonami, but isn't that just in reruns? I really wanna see him in a set, since he just looks sooo cool! I thought the last episode they made was the unaired one on the DVD that they're going to air on Adult Swim?
  10. Agents of SHIELD is getting much much better, and I think it's popularity has the potential to rise pretty well. Maybe not right now would an Agents set make sense, but I would like to see at least something from the show in a set. At least put Coulson and Lola in a set with someone else.
  11. Odds are it would come with classic Robin (i.e. Dick Grayson) We'll probably get the same light blue and gray Batman from the Juniors set. Hopefully they'll at least do some unique printing to put the black on the face of the cowl. I forgot about Batgirl! It would be cool to get a Batgirl variant, even this soon. Given the show had 4 big villains (Joker, Riddler, Penguin, and Catwoman) we'll most likely see one of them if they decide to even include a villain. Given the most recent wave includes a Joker, Riddler, and a Penguin, I think we might get Catwoman if anyone at all. Besides, she's really the only one we can't purist flawlessly, unless you REALLY want your Joker in pink with painted-over mustache. It's no rumor, they've confirmed it a few months ago.
  12. I don't know how they could make that model without being able to fit Robin. A second seat is kind of a must have. I'm surprised we haven't had a two-seater Batmobile yet.
  13. Honestly, if we're going to be getting a bunch of Batmobiles, this is the one year I'd be into it. I mean, it's his birthday! I think maybe we should get a big Bat-blowout wave with a set for each major turn in the world of Batman. We can get a Dark Knight Returns set, an Adam West Batman set, a Tim Burton Batman set, an Animated Series set, a New 52 set, etc. They can just make this year the year they make all of the Batnerds very very happy. And then we do more DC stuff! Step away from Batman and make more sets with other characters! Go Batshit this year because next year you're quitting cold turkey!!
  14. So LEGO posted this image on their Facebook page this morning, and I noticed a few things. Namely, a black Tumbler in the very back (although it looks like the DKR one just built in black) and the car that he's leaning on bears resemblance to a very special Batmobile! What do you guys think? I swear to god if they make a Winter Soldier set that doesn't come out in the winter
  15. I think my big problem with the exclusives is that they're making characters that should be in sets. I wouldn't care so much if the exclusives were like Aquaman of Earth-7,226 or Bloodtide or something, characters that we don't really care a whole lot about that would make no difference to us, but when it's Green Arrow and Phoenix, A-list members of their respective companies and relatively mainstream characters, THAT is some bull. Why don't they just make the exclusives, like, gold or chrome-colored versions of existing characters? Don't screw over your fans for a few hundred extra passerby's at your Comic-Con booth.
  16. Autorazr, great stuff! I'm beginning to wish my whole Justice League was yellow from the start! I think I might even use your El Gaucho if I can find the head! Is Creeper's cape/boa thing one of the red robes? That works really well, and I think I'll try to use that for mine!
  17. I've got new guys! I'm not quite as into this batch, to be honest. First are the heroes, all DC of course Toymaster, Knight, Dark Ranger, and Katana Knight and Dark Ranger are really the only guys I managed to make from my Batman Incorporated idea. I'm not too pleased with Knight, so please feel free to make some suggestions. And then we have Powerboy and Connor Hawke Connor has too many Hawkeye parts to me, but really his costume is so so similar to that minifigure! I've got one new villain: Weather Wizard! 3 Flash rogues down!
  18. SHHHHHHHHHHH you'll give them ideas
  19. Those are super cool, fusion! I'm even willing to overlook yellow Plastic Man just because of how great that head is for him! Hey, since it's Batman's 75th Anniversary and all, does anybody have any ideas for members of Batman Incorporated? I've got Knight and Dark Ranger now, but those are the only new members I could make from my collection. I'll post pics after my next new DC hero.
  20. We had a set from the original Avengers sets with Hawkeye and Loki fighting Iron Man in SHIELD pickup truck, why not do something similar here? The new Captain America and Black Widow in/around a SHIELD van fighting the Winter Soldier. Or maybe the Winter Soldier hijacked it or something. Still, a relatively cheap set to cash in on the number one movie in the world featuring 2 BA characters we really want and the kids'll be cool with it again, I'm sure. If they won't buy a DC set without Batman in it, then wouldn't it be a reasonable to assume that they'd want to buy a set just because the super cool Winter Soldier is in it? I don't care who you are, you definitely think that the Winter Soldier is the most badass mofo in the MCU.
  21. What head did you use for Black Panther? Thanks, guys!
  22. So does this Nova have any actual connection to Spider-Man in the comics? Because if he does, maybe he could be our unofficial link between the Avengers and Spider-Man.
  23. I've got some stuff! Not much, but some stuff. First off is Heatwave and Sportsmaster. Then we have Superman's pal, Jimmy Olsen And for the first time some Marvel folks! Doctor Strange and Maria Hill and the far more original Chameleon!
